KFC George Street Sydney

Ordered take away here on 28/12/2023. This is one of the few KFCs in Sydney that had 'hot abd spicy' crispy checken. Paid $19.95 for ten pieces. Wait times: fair (considering they were busy).

Not salt on my chips even I asked for salt and they said not salt in the store.
Attention is so poor here

Who can't love KFC. Not healthy of cause. But my friend was disappointed. His 3 chicken pieces were all tiny!? Just bad luck I guess. Seating inside.

The staff go through hell every day just to serve yummy chicken five stars for effort alone

OMG THEIR BATHROOMS ARE STANK
like literally I went to the all genders bathroom: the only one they had and there was pee all over the seat and poop smeared across the seat too. Like hello cleaner where r u? Nah cause I bet the cleaner also does the cooking cause I got a slushie that tasted like someone put a refrigerated rat in it. Do better

Visited KFC on George Street and felt like I'd entered an alternate universe where 'crispy' is a myth. They seemingly 'forgot' our order (perhaps a divine intervention?), charged extra for sauces (liquid gold, maybe?), and served up poultry that seemed to have missed its 'crisp' appointment. As for the fries, they had a limp handshake vibe. Quite the culinary adventure! Also a pretty dirty resto.

My friend got really upset because of the untimely service and rude staff. We are avenging him.

Service ok. Chinese woman made such a fuss about an offer on her telephone.
She got her food immediately to keep her happy.

Just to add to the impersonal vibe of covid restrictions (where a doormans demands dictate your next move) the food here is rushed, oilier than a car salesman in a massage parlour and disturbingly unpleasant. Does anyone test chips before they salt them? Would it hurt to put any effort into assembling or even cooking food properly? Seemingly the answer here is a resounding no.

Great service, wish their app can handle cash.

Went through the counter was told at first it can only be ordered through the app, but argued that in australia cash is still legal tender and registered businesses must accept cash, so was helped to make the ordered through the counter.

Overall if not for that debacle over cash payment, its still my go to place for great chicken and its variety.

DISRESPECTFUL STAFF can't believe I had to call over 14x to be able to amend my order.and when I do get on the phone the crew is absolutely disgusting on how they treat their customers. I cannot believe after over 20 mins of trying to get through to them they will tell me that if the app is not letting you "obviously you cannot" make an amendment on your order. I have been loving to eat from KFC for the past 25 years and this is just absolutely disgusting service.

Great location - right opposite Town Hall station. Good for take-away (order through the app first). It can get quite busy as the waiting area is small and there is also not much room outside. Orders are pretty fresh as there is a larger volume of customers.

Ordered a Zinger box. The box looked like it got ran over by a car. Then when I came back home and opened the box, there were only chips and chicken wings, and NO BURGER inside.

Very disappointed. Will not visit ever again.

This is the leader in fried chicken. The place was clean and the order was correct cant really ask for more then that out of a fastfood place. Zinger box large was my order

Hot and spicy permanently on the menu!

Quite a busy operation as a result but they seem quite efficient and it's cleaner then other KFCs I seen that are much quieter. You might wait a little longer then usual but worth it!

The chicken was too oily and not crispy at all. I asked one of the staff to change for me and she said its fine to her. So I asked her all the chicken you have they all oily and not crispy? Then she replied YES.
In the end she did change it for me.

Found this quaint little chicken shop offering a southern usa twist on an old classic. The food is best described as adventurous fusion; daring to marry such delights as potato AND gravy. Mind = blown. The fitout has been meticulously thought out and executed such that it mimics a fast-food-grease-trap-style eatry. The staff play their role too; intensively trained to the enth degree so they appear to feign total disinterest in anything customer-related. If I didn't know better I'd swear I was genuinely at a 90s takeaway joint that hasn't been modernised. Unbelievable recreation. A must.

I dont like how we placed the order online but we cant pick the pick up time. So i always have to wait for my order to be pack at the store.

2 days in a row, ordered a meal, and no potato and gravy was available. So just received gravy, which can't do anything with. Also the latest bucked stash promotion lists me as having a free burger available, but does not apply the discount. Store staff advised it is a bug with the app.

The food was OK, the service was poor.
The kids working were run off their feet, the wait for food was long, not 'fast food' at all, I think if they are going to hire kids they needed to double the staff to compensate for the lost productivity.
