Kelly's, and particularly Vanessa, are the best agents in the inner west. The collective high reviews tell you this.
Vanessa was my tenancy agent for three years and she was always so lovely. The landlord was hard to navigate at times and Vanessa really went above and beyond to make sure communication was maintained and me as a tenant got everything fairly obliged to me. Even on my birthday, which coincided with an inspection, Vanessa left me a thoughtful gift and card. What Agents do this? Particularly with Tenants! The experience was so pleasant, and she was so thoughtful and helpful, that I am doubtful ill ever have the same renting experience with an agent. Vanessa in particular is forefront of my mind for what an agent should behave like (for both tenant and landlord) and will be our benchmark for selecting agents for when we are landlords!

I recently started renting a unit through Kellys Property. Everyone I have communicated with has been very warm and down-to-earth, from the lady who initially showed me the apartment on inspection, to Vanessa, my property manager, to her assistant Michelle. They have really made me feel comfortable and calm in returning to the rental process after having a long break from any renting. I am confident if I'm uncertain about something or have questions I can easily and quickly get in touch with someone at Kellys and they will be happy to explain what I need to know.
They manage to be both professional and empathetic, which isn't two qualities you often see together.
Additionally, the system Kellys uses for tenants to pay rent and report maintenance is very user-friendly and stress-free.

I am really impressed by Kellys Property, I feel really lucky to have gotten such lovely people to be in touch with through the rental process. I highly recommend them.

Having rented a property for 6.5 years through Kellys the service was poor, communication and turnaround time on work required was very slow. (Example - a rusted gas hob which leaked gas took 2 months to replace after being flagged as dangerous by a plumber i had to call). The interests of the landlord were put above tenants in my experience, delaying critical work while claiming to manage the property. Maybe our experience was an isolated case but this occurred numerous times during tenancy with contact generally easier direct to the landlord.

So far Kellys Property have been great at helping us with the contract and securing the flat, and they went above and beyond regarding giving us a smooth move.

I had a rental property in Chippendale, left vacant for 8 months since March this year. No matter how I tried, I couldn’t find a tenant for it. It was the “merit” of Covid-19.

Then I turned to Kellys for help – I was in a belief that Kellys was the top property manager of the area and a local giant in its field.

Another reason I chose Kellys is that I had known Mehran (Einirad), an able property manager after having attended several of its open inspections in Chippendale. I was in the hope Mehran would eventually help.

I was correct. Kellys did find me a tenant soon.

But it was not Mahran but Joel (Giezekamp) who leased out the apartment and found the tenant.

Mehran was a keen soccer player. He happened to break his knee in a match and was basically resting at home during the period. Lucky enough he returned to work about 1 week before the new tenant entered the lease. Mehran assisted Joel a lot in the process.

Joel was so devoted to finding a tenant for landlord, that sometimes he would even come to do open inspections as often as 4 times in a week! He was firm at his goal to find the tenant early!

We had a constant contact with each other, discussing search strategies and exchanging ideas. Each inspection, he would sent a report to me and let me know the development. I loved his timely reports.

I notice Joel was cautious and careful in selecting tenants. His sense of responsibility was appreciated the most of all.

Meanwhile I found him professional, and nice and patient with tenants, to answer their questions and to provide information as quickly as he can.

Vanessa (James) is the third I wish to mention in the team. The first day she came with 3 other colleagues to view Chippendale’s “devastated” property, she quickly listed the problems that she thought ought to be rectified. As the landlord, I simply followed what she said and soon made the unit look different. Vanessa is one of the Asset Managers in Kellys; she herself is an asset of the firm!

When I first came to Kellys, and later discussed issues with people, I had a strong feeling that all was integral and people were working together closely. Each member knows what others are doing in the team. This is the organisation and there is the leadership behind it. I felt quite honoured that Diana (Vescio) contacted me when the tenant search task was started and later when it was near the success.

The last thing to say: the advertising that Kellys created for the Chippendale apartment was great, photos taken were of high quality and it was put online on Domain and another two websites.

As part of the advert, there was initially a video organised by Mehran and it was extremely attractive.

We have recently changed property managers to Kelly’s after 10 years with another agent.
The whole team of Joel, Vanessa, Amonda and Dianna have been so professional and helpful.
Joel and Vanessa initially provided some very honest and welcomed advice on works the property would benefit from.
Just one week after approving quite a lengthy list of works, the property was available for marketing.
Within three days of marketing commencing we had a tenant approved.
