The service team at John Newell Mazda provide a high caliber of customer service. The car has been serviced 10 times with them, in that time I have experienced zero issues with the service/customer care team.

Services Front (especially Dawson hence the 3 stars) are friendly and professional, however, I would not say the same for the service department. I previously came in with a tyre issue, specified to the front desk and have required a detail run through with the tyres. They came out saying that there were nothing wrong and charged me $96 for the vehicle check but before leaving the dealership I spotted an obvious gap on my front tyre which a 50 cent coin could have fit right through it. I quickly spoke to Dawson and he then referred me to Tempe Tyres because they have run out of stock on the specific 18-inch tyre. I would not recommend doing your vehicle service here based on my experience, disappointing visit at JN Mazda and a waste of time for that previous visit.

I came into John Newell Mazda to purchase an SUV for my wife last week (Dec’ 2020).
Darren who looked after us was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was quick to understand I’ve done my homework on the different models and prices around; to not waste too much time on other less important aspects nor try to push me for something that was not in our budget.

I was after specific criteria’s and to make sure the CX-5 model was the right fit.

I loved the fact that Darren had his “human customer experience” hat on and not the typical “car salesman” attitude.
You know when you are dealing with someone experienced, honest and looks out for your best interest.

He was not only able to secure & deliver us the car in a few days - Wow! But also price beat competitors around.

I’d also like to mention that after the smooth delivery of the vehicle, Darren still gave us a call a few days later, just to check in to see how we were going with it and if we needed any further help with anything.

Going above and beyond for your customers is THE MOST important step in the journey, that most of us tend to overlook after a transaction is complete.

I’d recommend to anyone that is after a new car to go and see Darren at John Newell Mazda.
I’ll be sure to continue with servicing my car there as well in the future.

Love that they have complimentary tea, coffee and toast. My kids loved the play section. Staff are very nice and helpful.

I’ve purchased a lot of cars over the years and this hands down was the very best experience I’ve ever had.
Darren and John both went above and beyond, and as far as customer service goes these guys are a consumers dream.

Excellent service. Harrison has been amazing.
Rang Harrison when noticed a warning light come on the screen of my new mx5. He informed me it was a tyre warning and to check if I had a flat tyre. Sure enough I did and then he organised a tow truck for me at no cost to take me to a tyre repair place as there is no spare with this car. Above and beyond. So rare these days. Thanks guys.

Pash, Luke Rafferty and all the staff at the Alexandria dealership were very helpful with my wife and I purchasing a new CX5. Great friendly service, no pressure or sales tactics to force you into any decisions. The sale was so smooth and simple with no hiccups.

Pash detailed all the car features and explained everything in full detail. The car is fantastic and we’re looking forward to all post sale interactions and services with the team.

10/10 would recommend all the team here.

Great service, great competitive pricing. The process went according to how they stated.
Pash and other staff was a great help and showed great patience when I came in with the family, even when we changed our mind about the car type.
Dawson was also great at helping speak cantonese with my family to clarify alot of technical details and provide peace of mind.
Would recommend my friends to contact this dealership.

I did the last service and also a major service for My mazda 6 2014 Diesel in your store several month ago. It cost me 800 aud including a replacement of battery. The engine oil warning light on today when there still have 4000km till next service required. And i drive to a mechanic for urgent inspection, there drained out 15 L engine oil! Wft, what kind of car need15 L engine oil? Must be Tank. I was thinking the god really take care of me, no any worse things happened.

These guys are awesome.
Bought the car from here and they have been nothing but outstanding with their customer service.
Tip: if you go for a service book in and tell them you are waiting. They have wifi and desk space to work whilst you wait.
OR: book a service car upfront as they go quickly.
I'm sold on Mazda - great cars, great customer service - zoom zoom zoom.

Everyone we spoke to each time we were in the dealership were always helpful and friendly. Salesmen, Darren, Spirow, and Dominic were all fantastic. Finance, both John and Jimmy were helpful no matter how many calls or questions. Thank you, we love our CX5!
