I had the pleasure of dealing with both Haley & Neil and couldn't recommend their service more highly! Their support throughout the sale process was invaluable & certainly helped lower the stress levels associated with such a big (& life changing) decision involved in selling my home. I have been a reader of the Jenman website for many years but only recently got in touch with Jenman support to help me sell. I wish I had spoken to Neil much much earlier. I've had the unfortunate experience of buying investment properties through 'property advisers' and I have been paying for this mistake for over a decade. Neil, Alec and Jenman support are the real deal. They genuinely care about people and are willing to share their precious time and experience. Neil has been able to advise me as to how I can extricate myself from my mistakes and point me in the right direction. On one of my properties recently, following Neil's advice we achieved a price 10% higher than what the other agents were telling me. Neil's advice works. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Just a quick email follow-up to our phone conversation this morning.

I just wanted to thank you again for recommending Roy Morando to my wife and I.

As you might recall, we had our home to sell in Dundas Valley (Related email attached) and also a unit in Parramatta. The unit is on the ground floor and is quite small with an unusual shape to the living room. As a consequence of this, Roy had a challenge on his hands to sell it and it actually took 6 months to gain a deposit. During this time, there were also other units in the block that still remain unsold and so this was quite a concern to my wife and I during the process.

I feel it is important feedback for you to know that although we did take a price reduction (We bought it new about 3 years ago) and the sale was drawn out, throughout all this time Roy kept us constantly updated, calling and texting me 4 or 5 times a week - consistently. His unwavered enthusiasm, high energy and knowledge of both the market and sales strategy, objection handling and marketing experience kept us loyal to Roy throughout those long months. His sense of humour helped out too!

We genuinely feel that without Roy's management of our property sales, we would not have done as well as we have. On top of this, he even took the lead in negotiating the sale price of a new home that we have now exchanged on. That's real service in my opinion.

Living in Tasmania i was recently faced with having to put my mothers house in Adelaide on the market.not knowing who was a good agent and one agent quoted $389,000 which i felt was low i contacted Jenman support. They sent an agent out who quoted $489,000 much better. Within 14 days we had 4 offers, 3 of which were above the asking price.the most painful part of the whole sale process was waiting 21 days for the bank to approve the finance.all the time the agent assured us that there would be no problem. The cheaper agent would have undersold mum's house by 20% or $100,000. Don't run the risk of loosing $100,000, more on higher priced properties. Call Jenman support and let them do the hard work. After all it will cost you nothing except peace of mind.

My experience with Jenman support started way before I had the priviledge and honour of not only dealing with Neil Jenman and becoming a personal friend but when I read his book many years ago Dont Sign Anything. It was fortuitous that I happened to come across this book while clearing out my house because that led to contact with this wonderful organisation who helped me tremendously with the sale of my home. I can't thank Neil, Reiden and Hayley enough for their invaluable assistance at this most challenging, and at times, stressful period especially during a lockdown. I felt like I was truly cared for like a family member the whole way. I would not hesitate to recommend Jenman support to anyone who wishes to be protected and obtain the best price for their home.

Not only has he written great guides to buying and selling real estate, but he lives and breathes what he writes about and backs it up with a personal approach. We recently contacted Neil regarding an investment we were going to make. We did this because years ago we read his books and learnt so much from them that we found the confidence to buy and sell our own principal places of residence ourselves without the use of agents. Because we heeded his advice, we have done well as a result of this and will be eternally grateful to Neil. His advice re our recent investment intentions was an eye opener again. We thought that we were on to something good, but Neil promptly showed us that that was not the case. So we are lucky to have been in touch with him prior to buying.
Overall, we find Neil's style of operating in a shark infested real estate environment to be humbly impressive. His ethical approach and his trustworthiness are phenomenal and the fact he makes himself available to give you advice is amazing in a world where everyone is pressed for time and will only exert themselves if there's money it it for them. Neil did not need or want anything and offered his advice promptly and pro bono. If you need advice and are wary of the shark agents out there, contact Neil, you will not be disappointed. And read his books before you sign up with an agent if you are in the market to buy or sell! We did, and learnt all the dirty tricks other agents employ in order to make you buy or sell a property. Invaluable. We highly recommend Neil to anyone.

It’s not easy knowing where to start with Neil Jenman! He is an absolute gem. A man with an extraordinary top level of commitment, passion and integrity. A rare find in today’s world – particularly in the real estate industry that’s so often dominated by sharks. But Neil is in a class of his own. He’s dedicated his life (or seems like a big part of it) to helping people get the very best price when selling their home without being bitten by the sharks.

We were ready to sell our house but felt an extreme unease at some of the tactics used by real estate folk. Although we had met 3 great agents in our city, we still couldn’t justify the high fees often charged by real estate agents for what seemed like a relatively small amount of work. We believed we could do it ourselves, with some help (from Neil, a lawyer and photographer), and we could put the money saved into our superannuation pot.

We asked our friends for their thoughts. A contact on a Facebook group suggested that we contact Neil Jenman. We did, with some suspicion, but after the very first email from him we knew everything would be fine. His email oozed with friendliness, honesty and kindness. We arranged to meet Neil (on Zoom) and had several calls. From the outset Neil was very open with us, warm, extremely knowledgeable about the housing market and inspired us with his ethical approach to selling houses.

Neil is very generous and his altruism was something special. He gave us lots of ideas and food for thought - not forgetting the hours he spent talking to us and the books he sent us free of charge. We haven’t put our house on the market yet but its imminent and we’re confident we can get the best selling price and do this ourselves (of course, with a little – read lot – help from our friend!).

If anyone is considering selling their house, we would highly recommend you speak to Neil Jenman - he is the real deal, he will help demystify the process of selling your house in a genuine and compassionate way. And he’ll give you the confidence to sell your own home if that’s what you want to do. If you don’t – he’s knows the ethical, decent and good real estate people. He’ll work with you to work with them! Neil will support you all the way so the money goes in your pocket instead of someone else’s – not even in his pocket.

My father had long been an admirer of Neil Jenman's work and gave me a copy of "Real Estate Mistakes" a long time ago. When it came time to sell our family home, I contacted Jenman Support to get a recommendation for a good agent. The lovely woman at the office set about finding an agent who would abide by Jenman's rules, and then she asked, "Would you like Neil to give you a call? " Very surprised, I said yes, I would like that, expecting it would be little more than a 5 min "Hello, how are you? ".

A day or two later I received a call from Neil which lasted over an hour and a half. It was the single most important conversation I had in selling our home.

We are raised these days to believe that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. And when it comes to selling or buying a home, this maxim will serve you very well. The one time in my experience this has NOT held true, has been in my dealings with Neil Jenman.

Neil is the real deal. He is a fierce crusader against the corruption of the real estate industry, and I can tell you now from experience, the corruption is real. He is a gentleman. He is kind, generous, empathetic and authentic. And oh my, what a mind! One of the most intelligent and well read people I've ever met.

So how did Jenman Support support us though our sale?

1. As there were no Jenman approved agents in our area, JS vetted the agents in the area and found us one who agreed to Neil's terms. Neil personally interviewed the agent to ensure he was completely on board.

2. JS got the agent to agree to key terms in our agency agreement: no advertising or any other money paid up front, advertising costs to be paid only if the house sells, no bait pricing, no auctions.

3. Neil ensured that when that agent didn't work out, we could break ties with the agent without any costs. When a second agent also didn't work out, the same thing happened. Without Neil's support I doubt we would have had the insight or confidence to fire the underperforming agents.

4. Neil saved us from making a terrible mistake when we considered signing with a prominent agent in the area who had doggedly pursued us and promised us the world. Neil showed us (with evidence) just what a deceptive shark this agent was.

5. Neil and his associates provided advice throughout the sale process, which ended up taking over a year (albeit right through the first wave of the pandemic). Neil lifted our spirits when we got downhearted, reassured us that we should wait for the right price and ignore the negativity (and there was a lot of it, including from our agents), and backed this up with his in-depth knowledge of the property market.

6. Third time lucky, Neil then found us a wonderful out-of-area agent who did everything right. This agent, unlike the other two, welcomed Neil's support and worked by the Jenman principles. Together they sold our home for a good price in under 3 months without resorting to underhand tactics. A victory for honesty and integrity.

7. Neil personally talked to buyers on our behalf to try and improve their offers. Some he talked to 3 or 4 times. I felt there was nothing Neil wouldn't have done to help us.

I can truthfully say that without the support from Neil and his team, we would have vastly undersold our family home. If we'd caved to pressure from our agents, we would have settled for $700,000 less, and would have been out of pocket on exorbitant advertising costs. Seriously, one agent wanted $30,000 up front for advertising!

So how much did this support from Neil and his team cost? Nothing. Not a cent. JS takes a percentage of the agent's fee, so it costs the seller nothing, and this is in the terms the agent agrees to up front.

As it turns out, that first conversation I had with Neil back in February 2020 was not only important for the sale. His family and my family have since become firm friends, something else to be grateful for.

A conversation with Neil Jenman is a life changing experience. Neil’s passion, sincerity and insights are game changing and provided me with the opportunity to reconsider one of the biggest of life’s decisions - whether to offload a much loved property or not. To receive copies of all his publications in the mail was one thing, to receive a call indicating that Neil would like to connect with me directly was another. The knowledge Neil imparted was from the heart, from personal triumphs and tragedies, from genuine life experiences. What I thought would be a 5min introduction extended to a call lasting nearly 1.5hrs. It was like speaking with one of the great philosophers or an academic eager to share his knowledge without compromise. As Hippocrates once stated, “ a candle loses nothing by lighting another candle “. I sold a property as the executor of a deceased estate. It was so stress-free to deal with an agent I was confident I could trust. Before I chose an agent, I read everything I could that was produced by Jenman Support. I greatly appreciate their ethical and honest approach. The fact that their services are free to buyers and sellers is a bonus. I asked them for Jenman Approved agents in the Enoggera, Qld area, and chose to sign with Michael Verstandig at VZ Real Estate. I strongly feel that Michael was honest, a good negotiator, and got the best deal possible for both me as the seller and for the buyers – he cared about both parties. Jenman Support must be the greatest undiscovered secret in real estate. Almost 10,000 Australians sell their home every week. After our experience with Neil Jenman – and his son Alec Jenman – I believe every one of those 10,000 home-owners would be better off financially if they contacted Jenman Support before any agents. I spoke with Neil personally. I could not believe how much help he gave me – on many occasions he spoke with us more than an hour. He was incredible. And he never asked for a cent.

I did not know people like Neil and his son still exist. Due to them, we sold $351,000 above the highest quoted by any agents. You have no idea how much this extra money helped us at our age – in our 60s.

Obviously, Neil can’t speak personally to every seller; but even if you only get one of his books – which are FREE to genuine home-sellers – you will be miles in front money-wise. Or speak with one of his team. They are all amazing in how they help you. They help you find the best agents – those who get the best price and charge you nothing until you happily sell.

Jenman Support offers the service home-sellers have long needed. If every seller knew what they do, every seller would contact them. I hope that day comes. I am spreading the word about these wonderful people and how hard they fight to help consumers. Thank you, Neil, and Alec.

Every person buying or selling a house should do their due diligence, or risk being scammed. Neil Jenman literally gives you the best advice to help you achieve the best price for your home and without the sour taste in your mouth that dealing with scammers in the RE industry will certainly give you.

Neil (and his family and team) are without a doubt the most important part of the process of selling your home. He knows what you don't know or, like any reasonable person, don't want to know about the real estate industry. The lies, the deceit, the flagrant disregard for the customer and the self interest of the agents.

We all laugh about agents being crooks but the reality is sickening and expensive. Neil knows how to handle the snakes.

Quite simply Neil guided us to $150,000 dollars more for our home than we would have been able to get dealing directly with agents on our own. He and his team provided the support and perseverance so that we didn't get sold out by multiple agents in THEIR, time frame.

Had we completely listened to Neil we would have achieved an additional $75,000 on top of the purchase price within a week and a half of us accepting what we did.

That's $225,000 more than any offer our initial agent was able to get us.

Further to this the protections that Neil puts in place for sellers are invaluable. I was shocked to see the flagrant change in attitude from some of these people after agency agreements were signed. Neil's contract with the agents protects you from these self interested chameleons.

Amazing assistance from this service to which I was referred by a close and trusted friend; firstly by excellent staff in the support office and then by Neil Jenman himself. With his personal assistance I found one of the few Jenman agents active in Adelaide (Kevin Walter of Walter & Irvine), negotiated an excellent agent's fee, and sold my home for $200,000 above the asking price which will enable me to bid on the new home I have my heart set on. As a total newby to real estate I was very nervous about stepping into the arena. Neil and his staff, along with my trusted friend (who has bought and sold multiple properties using the Jenman method) gave me the know-how and confidence to go ahead. And now they are assisting me with purchase of my new home. What more can one possibly ask than step-by-step support through the entire journey.
