Giving 5 stars without any hesitation. The lady at front desk was helpful and friendly (Priya). I got an appointment same day. I was given an approximate quote based on the symptoms I explained. After spending considerable time on my car the technician found the issue to be a little dirt (not visible from the outside) and cleaned it before handing me back the keys. Then they surprised me by not charging me for the entire experience. Very honest business. Highly recommend. I don't normally write such lengthy reviews but this place deserves every praise.

Absolute pleasure having my car looked after by JAX. They explained what needed to be done and finished it not only is a quick amount of time but did an amazing job. Would recommend to anyone!

My initial experience with Jax Mardsen Park was just getting a pink slip for my Honda. That was fairly painless but I was told that the rubber pads on my clutch and accelerator pedals needed replacing. I didn't really care but I said OK. I was told they would call when they came in. 2 weeks later and no call, so I followed up. The front desk didn't have any record of this but said they would get onto it. 4 weeks after that and still no call. Didn't matter that much so I let it go.

Next I had my X-Trail 100,000 Km service done. It cost a bit more than I thought. When I checked the invoice I saw I had been charged almost $100 for 4.7 litres of oil. Unless that oil was laced with gold there's no way it should have cost that much. Also, it was a fairly basic service, and they took longer at the exact same tasks than my previous mechanic, and charged me for that extra time. When I queried it there really was no explanation - just a lot of sidestepping. The next day I realised that a standard part of that service was changing the spark plugs, but it had not been done. When I queried it I was told I hadn't approved it. Maybe if I had been asked I would have but I didn't get a call. In any case, it was part of the logbook service so I didn't have to be asked. After pushing the point home Priya agreed to get the job done and waive the labour cost but by that stage I had lost confidence in this company.

If you're getting work done here, make sure you check everything. The mechanics I'm sure are fine at their job but there seems to be a level of disorganisation within the running of the place.

Update 17th July, 2022. So the response I received was that I was offered to have the spark plugs installed at a reduced price and no labour charge. I was offered no labour charge but not a reduced price on the parts themselves so this is not a true statement and does not address the issue. I have been a loyal customer at JAX for many years - at the Blacktown branch - until recently when management changed and it suddenly became more expensive because of their inflated markups on parts and consumables. A "goodwill" gesture of offering to do the spark plugs at no labour cost doesn't address the fact that you forgot to do it in the first place or that your markup on oil is ridiculous. Please don't bother responding as you're clearly unable to address the actual issues.

Update 22nd July, 2022
The response from the owner, or more probably the office manager Priya, was that permission is required to complete additional work on the pink slip booking. Actually it was a log book service. It's frustrating when somebody won't just admit they made an error. Firstly, if an item is part of the logbook service, it's meant to be done. It's standard. You don't need permission. Secondly, no call was ever made to ask permission. No missed calls showing on phone. You didn't have a problem calling me to let me know the job was completed. When you made that call you could have asked me then, even though you didn't have to. Am I getting through yet?

Had such a great experience with JAX Marsden park last week.
From the phone call booking my car in for a wheel alignment and rotation to the moment I walked out was nothing but professionalism and accuracy.
The team were all so lovely and accommodating, I will be returning for all of my car needs from now on.

Very good customer service and good quality work. I needed punctured tyre repair done on the weekend, despite being very busy Priya and her team accommodated my request for immediate repair and did it in no time. I was very pleased with their friendly service.

Great staff. Worked with me for different tyre options and were even able to accomodate my tight schedule. Got proper feedback and communication through the tyre job. And great prices. This my second tyre purchase from Jax Maraden park and it has been pleasure both times.

Been here twice now, not happy. First visit bought new tyres with wheel alignment. Alignment wasn’t done properly so I went and had it done properly at NRMA Motor Serv. My second visit here was for 4 Wheel Balance and Rotation, Balance was done but not Rotation. They failed twice, I wont go back.

Stopped by this shop on my way to ikea for a puncture, the price was great but the service was honestly fantastic, real family style treatment, will definitely be going out of my way to go back there for their service in the future
