Ivy Contractors Roofing Specialists - Restoration & Repairs

I contacted Ivy Roofing in early November 2021 in regard to a roof restoration and gutter replacement. The roof inspection was undertaken the following week. The person inspected the roof thoroughly and took photos of cracked and damaged tiles, pipe flashings and cowls that needed replacing, which he showed me after the inspection whilst discussing the work to be done. A detailed quotation report was sent the following week. I decided on Ivy Roofing ahead of other businesses as they were more professional in their approach to the matter. Unfortunately the work had to be split up due to the impact of Covid, but was completed in early February 2022. An adjustment to the front guttering after completion was dealt with promptly by Michael. The roof and guttering had a thorough testing in the flooding rain in late Feb/March and has come up trumps. I'd certainly recommend Ivy Roofing to other people.

Professional and efficient service on the day, and were able to complete the job 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Price was very competitive also. Highly recommended.

The response to my initial call was prompt. The corrective work was carried out professionally. The technician explained the cause of the leak and what actions they had carried out. They also explained what repairs were needed to attain avoid further problems in the future. Chris arrived to complete the repairs and displayed a professional attitude from the start. He explained what the repairs entailed and why it was needed in a simple and straight forward way. The repair were carried out promptly and the area was cleaned up.
This company has a marvelous approach to a customer in all aspects of the job, from the original phone call, follow up requests and the technicians that completed the job.

I found the staff from Ivy Roofing to be very professional and skilled. There quote was very
detailed and clearly outlined the various aspects of the work that they were carrying out. They were able to provide a carpenter for the timber work and coordinate the various trades people so that all components of the work were streamlined. I was notified in advanced by sms of their arrival time each day and was kept in the loop if there was any delay of materials or rescheduling due to rain etc. They didn’t take any shortcuts and went beyond the minimum to provide a quality job. They provided photos of all the work once completed. The staff were at all times friendly and knowledgeable.

Jake and his team turned up on time and repaired my roof in an efficient and effective manner, he is very friendly and professional and kept me informed throughout the job.
I believe my roof is in good hands and will worry free for many years to come when Ivy roofing sent me the before/after photos after the job to show that it was completed in a very high standard.

I was totally impressed by the team at Ivy. From my first enquiry, site visit, quote and completing the job. The communications were exceptional, the best I've ever seen from any trades person we have used. They were punctual, efficient and quick to respond when I had some questions. I've already given their name to several friends. I also felt their pricing was very reasonable.

Great business to deal with. They communicate and turn up when promised, their work is of the highest professional standard, and they clean up afterwards. I have dealt with lots of tradespeople over the years, and these guys are definitely at the top.

Booked in just before Christmas expecting an appointment some time in January, but due to a cancellation I was scheduled in early. The guys turned up on time, did a great job replacing some cracked tiles, replacing the flashing, re-bedding the gable ends, and installing a whirlybird. The 2x workers did a great job, and supplied photos of what works was carried out. There was plenty of communication before, during and after the job. They took all rubbish & broken tiles with them leaving my yard clean & tidy. I would definitely recommend Ivy Contractors for any roof repairs.

I decided to replace gutters and downpipes on the one side of the house, as they were leaking badly and were flooding eaves in heavy rains last years, but was struggling to find anybody with good record and interested at all in small jobs. Decided to follow local facebook recommendation and call Ivy contractors and was not disappointed. Estimator came on site promptly, then we had lockdown and the time allowed me to think over and expand the project, but Ivy's were happy to send estimator second time. Job was done in two weeks time after the final quote confirmed, Job took just a few hours, and guys cleaned all the mess after themselves. So much relieve now as seems we rainy summer again and new gutters look awesome!

The crew from Ivy Roofing were fantastic. The communication via SMS re arrival times etc or weather updates was relevant and timely. The crew were friendly and polite and when the job was done left everything clean and tidy taking all rubbish with them. I would recommend this group to anyone. Good tradesmen are gold. Five Stars to Ivy Contractors who recently completed major works to our strata complex. Work on our four (4) roofs included re-pointing ridge caps; re-pointing verge gable tiles; installing new vent pipe penetration flashings and replacing 60 damaged tiles. The Team were excellent and arrived on time daily. This coupled with good follow-up by General Manager (Michael) enables us to give this rating.

I recently got Ivy team to do my roof maintenance and repair. I got my scope of work and cost outlined, agreed and executed to our complete satisfaction.
They have systems in place right from quote acceptance to updates as to who and when will be onsite to commence the work along with pictures of the work done. The customer care is commendable. Well Done Jimmy from Ivy Roofing, I have had 3 other roofers try fix the issue. Jimmy jumped on the roof and identified the issue as he was walking towards the problem area. A quick water test with the garden horse confirmed exactly what he thought. 10/10 from me.

Can’t comment on the quality of work.however I live in a unit and these guys came to do some work organised by strata. I was awoken to a party on the roof, obviously with roof work there will be noise but wasn’t expecting a boom box and loud music which I can actually hear over whatever they are doing, mind you this is in parramatta surrounded by units so it echoes literally sound like there’s a concert in parramatta park. Pumping music at a worksite is one thing but at a residential unit block at 9am when I work nights is a piss take.
