Edited previous excellent rating -unfortunately after several nasty encounters with a particular smart arse staff member i no longer waste my money or my time here.

I went there because I captured a bee swarm, and needed advice and equipment. I did not feel valued as a customer, and my experience wasn't great. It is more like a varehouse then a shop.

Excellent service, unique sources & variety of NATURAL HONEY as determined by the bee's.go figure
Ask for Martin, he will offer your taste buds the options to consider!

The main guy is very jolly and friendly.u ll find almost everything related to bees here. The price is cheap.

Poor service. If you have a choice between Hornsby Beekeeping in Hornsby, or the one that they've opened at Mount Druitt, then the latter is a far better experience.albeit in a very dodgy part of Sydney.

Best experience buying honey ever! It's cheaper and more varieties to try (delicious!) than any regular shop. Great staff, unexpected super fun experience walking into this little hidden gem! Will make the effort to return for all household honey!

I regularly use Hornsby Beekeeping supplies for most of my beekeeping needs. The products are good and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Anything you want to know about beekeeping just ask the friendly staff, they will answer most of your questions.
Hornsby also stock just about everything you need for the amateur beekeeper as well as the professionals.
The only negative comment I can make is that it can get very busy at certain times due to its popularity and also being the only store of its kind within a reasonable driving distance. I usually try to go when I know they will be not so busy. Obviously Saturdays are the busiest days.

This has to be the worst retail experience I have ever had. The staff have no comprehension of customer service and the beeswax supplied is almost unusable and of a very poor quality. The lady that works there is quite rude and the management unwilling to assist when issues arise (which is regularly). Happy to have now found an alternative supplier that does provide good customer service and quality beeswax.

Great place that has an excellent range of beekeeping supplies. Its only small in a laneway but has everything you need. Not the cheapest but always well stocked and you can buy fully assembled hives and frames. The staff are very friendly and helpful too.
