Absolutely fantastic, I was very impressed with the amount of product and accessories, the place was clean and tidy, easy to find the shop, I was very happy with the customer service that I received, even I arrived 10 minutes to 5pm I got the best customer service from a young men, he new everything and he was very helpful of any questions that I asked.

Is there any way to leave a minus star review? Service here is beyond terrible, the new lady knows about as much about bees as cows do. I asked for a product, she says ‘we don’t sell that rubbish’. Don’t waste your time coming here, service is less than garbage, staff are pathetic, you can find better for cheaper.

Great place, but please, if the phone rings don’t engage in a 5 - 10 minute conversation when people are waiting in store. Just tell the caller you will get back to them.

Have been going here for a couple of years now. Previously always had nothing but pleasant experiences. Great advice for a newbie and good friendly conversation. Recently went in to buy a new hive and while waiting in line with 3 other people, a staff member (Cathy I believe) proceeded to have a conversation with a random on a bike for about 5 minutes telling him how it was just a hipster thing now and everyone just wanted to be cool, belittling all of us hobbyists. I thought nothing of it, she was probably having a bad day. Today my wife went in to pick up an additional super for me and she got the same spiel! Adding on to boot that she can quote from a times article why bees aren’t good for the environment! We always support local businesses, but you can buy cheaper online. Cathy may want to brush up on her general manners and customer service skills. I think she’s forgetting who is helping to make the business so successful…

Bought 1kg of "pollen" which was supposed to be irradiated. Pollen arrived packaged loose in an express post pack spilling out the sides and clearly having absorbed moisture, I presume in transit.

Rang the shop and asked why it was packaged like this, and if it was actually irritated. Never got an answer on the second part of the question, lady I spoke with was too busy telling me she didn't allow second hand equipment (vector for contamination/disease) into the store.

Someone emailed me back in response saying - If you want it packaged correctly, you have to ask for it. Right. And do I also ask for the AFB/EFB free pollen as well to get that?

Looking at the reviews on their actual website for this product, this is a common issue with poor packaging others have had to endure. Yet, nothing changes as today mine arrives in a hot mess. So they are incompetent or simply don't care, neither is acceptable.

What they fail to grasp is that the most common vector for disease and pests is -people-. So yes, I'll be using another supplier for my requirements here on out.

Have purchased 2 x 10 Frame supers assembled, painted and waxed. Amazing quality for the price. Staff onsite have always been helpful and up for a chat about bees. They also offer 5% off for ABA members which is a great incentive.

Whilst the shop is a little hard to find, it is well worth the hunt, as it is well stocked with professional equipment with really knowledgeable, patient and helpful staff. I will be going back for all my future bee equipment requirements.
