Hobbysew Top Ryde City

I like their website it is easy to get in to and look at their products.
The purchasing is very instant and they have a good delivery time when purchased.
Delivery fee is a bit high but if you order quite a lot and it comes from different stores it's worth it.

Large sewing shop with good prices. Staff very friendly and helpful. It's in the parking lot area and away from other shops, can be a bit tricky to find.

New management isn't that interested in what she sells. Empty shells tells that new management isn't refilling? Perhaps going through a redesign? It like selling fridges but have no idea about fridges or which brand is the best

Love this shop! Being very new to sewing I was at first quite overwhelmed walking into this amazing store. But the staff on every visit so far have been so wonderful in helping me find what I need and also to have a chat about all things sewing and in giving me tips to help with the projects I've been working on. Even when they've been busy during the sale period I've still found everyone to be incredibly helpful instore.

Unless your 50+ avoid this store, they will have you waiting like your nobody at the counter! If you do go I Hope you get a white woman or you will be in for a very rude experience

Quilters paradise. Good selection and stock of haberdashery. A bit out of the way but no big deal.

Very rude Chinese (?) lady who seems like a manager.
It was a dirty nightmare.

I really loved the place where they have classes for quilting. A friendly place for socialisation.

All the bits and pieces you need, but the fabrics are definitely aimed at quilters rather than apparel makers. Still always an enjoyable place to visit. A bit tricky to find as it's not in the main section of the centre. It's near fitness First but through the carpark.

If I can can give zero star to this store i surely would.
Terrible customer service from an asian lady with bad attitude. Very disappointed for my trip. I ended up went to Tessuti Fabrics & Buttons in Chatswood which recommended by my coworker, much more pleasant shopping experience there compare to this shop in Top Ryde.

Lovely helpful staff. They run sewing classes which I hope to get along to. Varied stock, and I'm sure if they don't have something you need, they could get it in for you.

I was home the entire day but still got a missed delivery twice.how come you dont want to deliver peoples products.what's your job then? Deserves no stars they dont even try to deliver

Great hobby and craft store!
The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Saved me making an expensive mistake without being forceful.
They offer great support (yet to be used), and training as well.
I feel confident that I'm going to enjoy visiting hear often in the future.

Great sewing classes and of course variety of fabrics and sewing accessories. I bought my Janome machine three months ago and just love it. Fantastic customer service as well.

There is great variety, but poor customer service. If you're not an experienced seamstress, they don't want to know you. Very disappointing.

Big fabrics range. Thanks to Linda for helping us with patterns and mathematics, because of your expertise we achieved a gorgeous heirloom level quilt. Thanks also to Donna for her machine quilting service.

Had to buy my mom a new sewing machine for her birthday. I was a bit hesitant as I knew nothing about sewing and a lot of the reviews showed really poor customer service at other sew shops. Went into Hobbysew at Top Ryde and was blown away by the assistance we got from Maria, not only was she extremely friendly, she was knowledgeable and patient in answering ALL my questions. It made a potentially stressful experience very enjoyable. Made my day.

Brenda the manager is very helpful - she goes out of her way to help and provides great customer service. I would highly recommend shopping here.
