Hobbysew Kings Park reviews
49 I really enjoy shopping at Hobbysew Kings Park even though i am not a local. The staff are super friendly, efficient, helpful and knowledgable to the stock in the store.
The store is always neat and well presented. I am considering myself a regular. I will not be going to the 'S' store for my sewing needs, I find Hobbysew gives a much better shopping experiences and customer service.
The staff make this shop worth the visit. They are always so friendly and helpful. Plus a great range of fabric and all the bits and pieces a girl needs to create.
Great crafting store that is actually focussed on craft! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. It's mostly wheelchair friendly and the staff are happy to help.
Exceptional service. The staff really took the time to help and were very knowledgeable. Will certainly be returning.
Great range of fabrics & the staff are SO LOVELY. They offer some amazing classes & have a great community going. Its a go-to especially for quilting supplies.
Glad to find this place. Amazing place for craft makers. Customer service is fantastic. Helpful people work there happily providing help to customers.
Great location and ample parking spots.
Will definitely visit again.
So very helpful with my enquiry. Staff very friendly and attentive. The shop is ablaze with a myriad of colours, fabrics, cottons, quilts and patchworks, with giftware and crafts as well sewing supplies, tools and machines. A hobbyist's heaven.
I can not thank the staff at Hobbysew Kings Park enough for their support and service, particularly Adriana. I would also like to acknowledge all the staff and stores, no matter where I go the service is always fantastic.
I just want to congratulate the staff at Kings Park Hobbysew for their professional and friendly service nothing was too much trouble for them. This was my first visit to this store and was by far the best retail experience that I have had in quite a while. Highly recommend this store.
So much choice for a novice patchworker.wow.
The staff are very helpful but I wish they'd call regarding classes.
I've been attending patchwork classes with Julie and really enjoying myself. All the other ladies ate lovely and very welcoming
The girls at Kings Park are amazing! So helpful and always ready to answer your questions or help you find what you're after. 100% recommend coming here for your fabric needs.
Clicked on to download free pattern and had error message saying site unavailable. But a great idea I would love to support. Five stars for the idea but please ensure that pattern can be found.
We contacted Alex at Hobbysew Kings Park to discuss about purchasing a Janome sewing and embroidery machine
We sort of agreed to buy a model but after several discussions with Alex who searched lot more information to meet our requirements regarding the machine and the accessories.
With her advice and recommendations, we bought Janome Skyline S9, with lot of accessories.
We were notified of the delivery and everything was delivered as promised and on time.
We really appreciate the professionalism, politeness and assistance given by Alex
Once again thank you so much Alex

Not sure if it’s cause I was young, but they act like they don’t know what your talking about when you ask for help! I know they know what I’m asking for! Probably not use to young people knowing what they want! So yeh where’s the experience when people need customer service? Now just serve your fabrics and talk to the wall!
Massive range for diamond dots and big selection of sewing, material and haberdashery. Very small selection of needlework kits like cross stitch etc. The organisation of the shelves as is chaotic and it's hard to find what your looking for. For example the kits they had were a mixture of types, prices and technical ability.
Staff can also be a bit of a mixed bag. I asked for help - one lady I spoke to was lovely and informative even when I got muddled with the correct terminology and gave suggestions. But another made me feel a bit foolish. It was hard to get someone's attention initially as they were chatting with what I assumed were regulars. The staff and regulars seem very close which is lovely to see but it did make it difficult to approach. I did try the polite hover and patiently wait but the chat went for awhile.
Accessibility - Plenty of parking on site but a bit of sharp incline when getting from your car to the front door. No stairs in building. Store is a bit cluttered so keep an eye out for trip hazards.
One of the elderly staff, she is not just offering zero help to the customers, but she is also rude and miserable to talk to. She has very little knowledge of the products they are selling, we are not sure why the company hired her? She deserves a negative 5 star rating.
Due to miscommunication, I was not informed my order had been put onto back order. However, it was despatched much more quickly than I expected and the machine arrived in a very timely manner. It was a beautiful machine with all the trimmings.it travelled well and was delivered very promptly.
My thanks to Hobbysew. I would certainly recommend their service
In the last few months I have become a regular customer at Hobbysew, Kings Park. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and consistently meet customers with a cheery smile. They have been extremely helpful in providing advice, particularly when choosing my new machine. It is a delight to visit the store and I always look forward to my visits. Thank you ladies, you brighten my day.
We have always been a fan of Hobbysew and have made many of purchases over the years. My last online order arrived without delay. My wife was excited that it had arrived. After opening the box we noticed a card attached to the diamond dots catalogue stating, thanking us for our order and that a small gift was inside the box. We checked the box, there was nothing, no small gift inside. We rang Hobbysew twice now and after being told that they will send something, we are still waiting. Not good. My wife doesn't want to make any more purchase from Hobbysew because they didn't believe us when we rang.
Wish I could give 5 stars but the customer service for my wife and I, severely lacking, not acknowledged at all upon entry, and you can't help but feel you were being watched. Came to buy linen but didn't feel welcomed, I would like to try and shop there again.
