The issue I have with Hipages is that they do not publish negative reviews on their website. They claim that if you submit a negative review it will count towards the tradie's overall star rating but the actual content is only shared with the tradie, not the general public. If you are looking at reviews on their website for a particular tradie and do not understand their rating system all you will see are positive reviews, no negative ones.

DO NOT USE if you are a tradesman.they lock you in for 12 months then dont mention an auto renewal and wont let you out of the second year! Rip off

Hi page I would not recommend for lead generation majority of leads are unqualified or not relevant. We requested to drop down from the $99 package after 3 months with no relevant leads. The person I spoke with was rude and unhelpful yelled over the top of me and didn't listen and told me tough luck your in contract for another 3 months

BEWARE: DISHONEST AND WILL LIES TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. I owned a sole trader bathroom renovation business and I opened a 6 months x $199/month account with Hipages in March and hope to get more jobs. But because of Covid I had to stop what I’m doing so I called Hipages in June to asked if I could close my contract early (I only used their service the first month of opening it), they AGREED that if I pay one last payment in July which is $199, they will close my account early for me. I paid that $199 in July and thought the account is close after that, but this month (August) they still withdrawn money from my bank account and I realised that they haven’t close my account instead set it to ‘auto renew’
I understand that if the contract was for 6 months then I will have to ride it, but what I’m not happy about is that I called them in June to explained my situation few months ago and they agreed to close it early if I made the last payment of $199 but they still made my paid the whole 6 instalments of $1196. I visited the Hipages Scam Alert with 177 members in Facebook group and found out many people having similar situation as me

For a tradie using this service it is terrible. They allow multiple people to use credits to bid for work even when the job has been taken. Also lock you into a contract for 6 months at least and if you forget to cancel they extend it. Scammy

Appauled by how i have bewn treated by this comoany. Despite the effects covid has had on us in Sydney. The comoany does not even help as a tradie. You get bullied around. 1.65 leads a week for $50 per month. Stuck in a contract. Calls not returned, no notes taken. Do not use this company. They give 1.65 leads per week? How thats not even two leads. For $50 per month. Worst service i have ever had.

Johnny from Accurate glazing specialist was great! Very prompt response. Beat the other quotes I had gotten. My window was fixed within an hour of talking to him on the phone. Would definitely recommend!

Loss of work due to pandemic and yet after many attempts to have my monthly payments reduced Nina my account manager is unforgiving. I can not work or leave my Local Government and yet I am still being charged for a service I cannot use. Pathetic management of small businesses. Not happy with this service and cannot win any work. Scam if you want the truth! Stay away

TRADIE BEWARE. If you’re planning sign a contract with them, make sure you record the conversation because they will lied. I signed a contract with them and they automatically renew without my permission

Haven't tried this as a customer only as a tradie and it's been the worst experience!
1) the amount of leads they claim to have isn't as much as they make it out to be.
2) the “leads system” is very flawed! A customer gets 3 quotes and chooses one to go with but time and time again I would accept a lead and make contact with the customer only to then be told they've already given the job to someone.this is well within their rights, customers can go with just 1 quote or the 1st quote they get and don't have to wait for all 3 quotes.so the Major Flaw here is I as the tradie have now just spent money bidding on a job doesn't even exist.way to milk us! There needs to be a step added to the app to either prevent the customer from accepting until all 3 quotes are in or to have the job listing removed as soon as a quote is accepted.there is nothing protecting the tradie.
3) company doesn't have ethics otherwise they'd be more upfront in their sales pitch in mentioning that these so called “trial periods” are Locked in Contracts! Instead of Implying false information to lock us in and also not taking the time to full explain and educate one on the 3 quote systems pros and cons. Instead one just learns of this the hard way from bidding and wasting money over and over again before realizing what's happening.
OVER ALL I WILL NEVER BE USING HI PAGES AGAIN OR RECOMMENING IT TO ANYONE.there are other online platforms far more popular and cheaper or even free that can provide guaranteed work.

TERRIBLE, DECEPTIVE SERVICE. Hipages has a policy of not publishing negative reviews, so even dodgy contractors ‐ like the 4.8 star roofer recommended to me by Hipages - are represented as capable and qualified. Stay well clear!

The job leads are incredibly overpriced. I have been spending $60 per month for a year and was told that the credit will roll-over and build up which I have been allowing to happen as they charge at least $60 for any one lead worth taking. The credit had expired after a couple of months. Most customers don't even respond to you and Hipages are useless when you want to contact them in regards to an enquiry on your account but first on the phone when trying to sell you an add on for an extortionate price

This is the 3rd time I have used this service when the trade's that comes out is no insured licensed and doesn't even have a registered ABN. Meaning the tradie onsote demanded cash with no reciept WHICH IS ILLEGAL. All works done is below standard quality you can only imagine after working out that the trade's have no legal qualifications or insurance or ABN. In all honesty it's my own fault for going back 3 times. What a joke can't believe this company is still running a buisness.

We tried the trial After receiving a phone call from one of the employees, he couldn’t get off the phone fast enough, and didn’t tell us much about it, the trial was set to last for two months, it only lasted one day. Then they told us we had to pay, the amount they told us was beyond belief.
This company will employ anybody, whether they have a ticket or not!

As a paying business that uses HiPages for leads etc very disappointing. Customer service is poor, return phone calls don’t happen. Constantly told we are a premium member and have our own account manager who happens to be as useless as the title states. Rude and have no focus on customer support at all. For any other business out there looking to connect I Do not recommend paying for their services

For a tradesman hipages is a terrible service. Extremely overpriced leads which regularly you pay for and get no reply from customers at all. Hipages will only refund a small amount of these. I used hipages for about a month and then gave up as it is too hard to get any jobs from it. I had a 6 month contract and did not use it once for about 5 months and without and notification or phone call hipages have rolled me onto a new 1 year contract. Now i am paying for a terrible service that i dont use. They are a disgraceful greedy organisation that dont care for customers or tradesmen.

Not suggested hipage, I am running proper business and provide quality work. But will not use hipage anymore after end contract.

The hiding terms and conditions are a joke.
They read 30 pages over the phone where you "agree"to extend a contract after the six months even thought it was not advised if the company would like to renew it beforehand. Company keeps charging my card even though we are disputing it.
They charge X fee and cannot guarantee leads at all.

Ernani from EMA Rendering was brilliant. From the quotation stage (price) through to the final finish this weekend past, we could not fault his work and his attention to detail. He communicated with us through the whole process. The textured rendering of the house was beautiful with clean lines and a commercial finish including expansion joints. We had neighbours visiting us during the process and all complementing our house. We would highly recommend this company and we will definitely use his services again. These guys are vultures. If you sign up to get a call back to chat about the services, you'll end up getting constant phone calls. Tell then to stop calling, the phone calls keep coming. Block the number, they call you on another number. It's ridiculous. Do not give these clowns your phone number. Avoid
