Hills Bros Cafe reviews
44 Vegemite toast needs butter guys. No one explicitly asks for butter on Vegemite toast. You've ruined my morning.
Good coffee though (to be fair).
Cheers
Brendan
Best coffee in Sydney! Love this place, friendly staff and did i mention the coffee is the BEST! Always consistent, food is always fresh. You have to stop by if in need of a good coffee when in town.
Ordered the congee which had some good flavours but it's nothing like the Asian version. It must be their western fusion take on it.but it's very thick. Would have preferred it to be a bit more soupy. Flavour could be a bit stronger, it was nice but not amazing. Coffee is usually good but today the hot brew came very luke warm.
I always go out of my way to drop into here if I'm in the city for a work meeting. The blueberry iced tea is my favourite menu staple, I hope it never goes away. Wish it was open on weekends!
Was sitting down for fifteen minutes and none of the staff came over to take my order despite eye contact with several staff and the cafe being fairly empty. Ended up just walking out.
This café only opens on weekdays and has limited food selection, but their fusion food and drinks are great!
The cafe can be super busy during the lunch rush, so the table service could be a bit slow, but the staffs are friendly!
Highly recommended!
Non existent table service even though staff out numbered customers at the time. I guess keeping up with Instagram is more important for the youth of today you choose to employ.
Reuben Hills’ CBD outpost serving their great coffee in a. Area that demands great coffee but struggled to deliver previously.
This place has become our go to when we are in Sydney. One of my fave breaky joints in Syd! Its central in Martin Place. It's just a cafe within a business building but they won us over with their chicken tacos and jalapeno jam dish. Their tumeric latte is also the best I've had! You will not regret it!
Was never a fan of Reuben Hills coffee but these guys might have changed my mind. Friendly staff for a high powered corporate environment
Nice place, very good service and nice turmeric latte (with almond milk!). My friend was happy with her dirty chai. A good place for a catch up.
This place is alright. The seating is great and it's certainly a good place for a quick catch up with a friend. The staff are polite and personal, which I really appreciate.
I asked for the Barista's best coffee, and I got a mediocre long black that's blazing hot. A bit of a let down if you ask me.
We are having a quick and short break in this cafe before the meeting, The cafe feels really compact with several seating. The coffee superb and is served with a very nice earthenware. We also grab a bite of Avo toast & egg here which have a pretty decent portion but I feel it’s a bit bland. Pro: Good place to grab good and quick coffee. Cons: A very limited menu and some of them can be quite expesive compared with other place.
Went here with my friends on a weekday's noon time, it was quite packed. This cafe is inside the building. It doesn't have a lot of seats, maybe around max capacity of 40-55 people. I had a turmeric latte, was very refreshing. The banana bread was the bomb, the caramel butter on top was super delicious. It is great place for catching up with friends and lunch with colleagues. I wouldn't suggest going there by driving cause it would be hard to find a parking. So take the train and get down on Martin Place station and walk there, only takes 5 mins.
Love this place - especially ginger turmeric coconut lattes and Friday donuts. Regular coffee also good. Trendiest cafe in Martin place!
Pleasant atmosphere and good coffee but the food is very bland. Japanese salad - what's Japanese about it? Tacos that have zero to do with Mexican food and flavours.
Their peanut butter espresso banana bread is AMAZING! All food/ pastries I've had have been delicious - and I've been there many times. Such a cute little cafe - probably the most atmosphere and quality in Martin Place.
Reuben Hills coffee with an interesting cafe menu featuring some Malaysian and Mexican dishes. Nice sleek Concrete interior
Great coffee. Avo on toast was really yummy. Cement slab tables and features creates a very industrial space.
This cafe is at the forefront of the worse kind of bastardisation of Australian cafe culture. But don't ask me, I have ten years experience in the coffee industry and now run a successful roastery.
