High Street Medical Imaging reviews
36I made a booking for an ultrasound and x-ray for 4.30. I had to wait a week. As I was going in for my ultrasound I was asked "So, you've already had your x-ray? ". My response "No, that's why I'm here. ". After the ultrasound, I was told that they don't make appointments for x-rays at 4.30. (But they did). So, despite me asking for both on the phone, despite the referral stating both, despite the claim form I completed stating both, they had no idea that I needed an x-ray. Such utter incompetence. Was there any contrition or apology? No. The machine has been turned off for the day and we re-open at 8.
The technicians are fantastic and the equipment is of a high quality (compared to another company visited with same problem). Only issue is a particular front desk staff member. Her manner may be an attempt at being professional, but fails. She is borderline rude, indifferent and insensitive. Clients come in with, at times, life threatening problems and her manner elevates the stress. No compassion or friendliness. Just take a seat and basically let her do her job. She is a terrible reflection on your company. If she is sick of "people, " she is in the wrong job.
Appointments always within days or less, never running late, always called in at booked time, all staff, including front desk and medical staff are friendly and make you feel at ease!
I walked in to high street medical imaging today to perform a Cortisone Injection and with an enormous fear of needles. They doctors were extremely calming and understanding and were exactly the kind of doctors I needed. From the moment I walked in, Doctor Khema was extremely caring and helped me to understand what they would be doing and I felt little to no pain at all when Doctor Metri injected the Cortisone Injection! Thank you both so much!
I would also like to point out that over the last month, when having scans done the whole team have been extremely helpful. A couple of weeks ago, I had to get a CT scan done and the receptionist who was working at night was extremely understanding of the fact that I was seeing the surgeon the next morning and went out of her way to get me my scans literally 20 minutes after the scan was completed, I can’t remember her name but I’d also like to thank her as well. Very happy with the entire high street imaging team.
The technician I had was absolutely lovely. So sweet and polite and friendly during the whole procedure.
Only downside is that this place is extremely busy and gets completely booked out so that you have to wait about a week to get an appointment. Also was told I could wait around and collect my images straight after they were done, but ended up waiting for about 45 min with no updates.
Dear Nansi,
Thank you for your quick service in this matter on Sunday morning last.
I would also like to praise the staff we met at Penrith. They were kind, friendly and efficient.
A credit to your organisation.

Hello guys,
I am very surprised by the service offered by one of the radiographers here. From memory, he was asian, had a white name though, wore glasses and was very respectful. Swift service. Had my CT scan after my x-ray with one of the bigger radiographers. He was excellent
Visited the place to do abdominal xray for my son. And I was told that the report will be sent to GP, which didn't happen even after a fortnight.
Outstanding service, staff are amazing and very accommodating as a referrer will only ever use and recommend High Street
I've been here a couple of times over the past 12 months. The staff are really friendly and professional however it is not good on a hot day - either the air conditioning is broken or they do not have one installed. The most recent time I was there it was hot to the point of being uncomfortable - I won't be coming back again.
The young asian male radiographer with glasses I had was very helpful, knowledgeable and looked after me brilliantly. Great service and facilities.
Accepted my referral and medicare card. Did the scan. Then three hours later after I left the clinic. They told me THEY HAD MADE A MISTAKE. Referral wasn't covered by medicare because it was from a dentist and wanted me to pay the full amount unless
I produced a more suitable referral.
No apology for the inconvenience was offered.
After incurring a sporting injury, I was vastly impressed by the facilities, the cleanliness of both patient and diagnostic rooms, and the professional and caring nature of the staff. I have never been to another practice where I've seen the same level of concern and knowledge for the best treatment of customers.
5/5 would fracture again.
The ladies at the front desk need to know how to be happy and need to look up the word urgent as they don’t understand it! Would not recommend!
Reception was flat out but friendly and attentive, our technician and his assistant were super nice. We were in and out in 10 minutes!
Unfortunately I have been here at least 20 times in the past 2 years for lots of medical issues, each and every time the staff are friendly attentive caring and professional.the facilities are so clean always no matter when I have been there.the only thing I wish it had was closer parking its hard to hobble a few blocks form your car, this though is an ongoing issue in Penrith all over and not high street imaging fault.
