Well at First I am so thankful that I was hired again to work here in Arnott's unknowing that my Salary will be paid by Hays although I thought that Payment will be by Sodexo.
Nevertheless I am so thankful that your Company (Hays) paid me and I am so pleased with it. There were problems that we've undergone but everything went well and thanks a lot for the help of some people God used you all to help me.
For me I rate Hays as very understanding, helpful and takes good care very well of there Employees and a lot for that.

Worst experience I’ve had These people lack of consideration and respect to the professional who is lending services. This recruiter acts unethically and belittles you and your abilities by telling “you aren’t good” or “got no chances” or ignoring you altogether. These ppl cross-cut other recruiter companies. Particularly the woman in charge of planning roles E. O’Dwyer, very condescending. Companies should stop using them. This person should get questioned on her behaviours.

Absolutely fantastic job hunting experience with Hays. Got this great job after 2 years maternity leave. Hays follows up every steps of the interview process and frequent and always friendly communicates with candidate. I feel I am in safe hands and that helps me feeling confident in the interviews too. I have had two postings with Hays during late 2020 and on both occasions the consultants were professional, responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

I was contacted by Hays for a contractual GIS analyst role with NSW government and and successful. This is the first job at a Government level. So I am very happy. But I am also happy with the level of professionalism and diligence that Hays take care of in communication, payroll and responding to queries.

Multiple applications for positions where I exceeded the job description with many emails to the recruitment officers and receive no responce.

I did try calling them and again there was no return call to me.

4 phone calls direct to recruiter / manager 3 direct (voicemail messages left) 2 indirect via secretary none were ever answered. 2 Emails direct and Applied for 4 different positions with them thru seek where my qualifications exceeded what was needed, at the end pf my resume it says more employment history / experience available upon discussion, to keep my resume reasonably short. (10 years) Seems like a blatant case of ageism, favoritism and or a dash of nepotism

I contacted Jessica Conroy in regards to changing careers. Her only advice is that it’s impossible go change careers. That advice was BS as I ended up moving from education to marketing without her help or assistance

I applied for a role at IAG where they are partnered with HAYS recruitment for their recruiting processes.

I followed through with all the processes required. Unfortunately the consultant I was dealing with was very slow in her response, she barely replied to my e-mail queries and never answered nor returned my calls despite leaving voicemails.

They had a weird recruitment process where they offered me the position before contacting my references. I waited over 3 weeks to hear back from them whether my references were finalised and they never got back to me until that 3 weeks later, despite the numerous times I had called through.

They sent my references an e-mail to complete a written reference without even notifying them via phone call to be expecting them to complete a reference check, but simply to assume that my references should be checking their e-mail to complete this process. This is highly unethical.

On multiple occasions, the consultant had given me a warning that they were to still hear back from my reference yet when I contacted my reference, they were never called.

I just think it's funny that I have to do my own reference check to finalise my recruitment processes rather than the consultant themselves to be following up with that. I then received a call from her lead that they were yet to still hear back from my reference, only for them to be told to follow up on this themselves as their recruitment strategy was definitely appalling, unprofessional and very substandard.

Not long after that conversation with the lead was when I finally had my employment contract sent to me and everything to be finalised. It took them 4 weeks from start to finish, when this could've been completed in 4 hours.

I came from a recruitment background with substantial experience in recruiting processes, unfortunately I must say that I can do and know that I did a far better job than the processes that they're following.

I had applied for multiple other roles where they completed the recruitment processes within 2-3 days rather than 4 weeks.

Hopefully HAYS sees a more improved and a more strategic recruitment process to follow in future.

Saw a posting on LinkedIn in on the Sunday and had a contract by the 5pm Tuesday. Very happy with the effort from the recruiter.

They were quick to get back to me and always updating me on the progress of where each stage was at.

I can email them know I’ll get a response that day.

Ok if you can ever get them to return a call. They forget that it is you that generates their income based on your experience

Love working with Hays because they are very professional & really helpful. The pay always on time never gets delay

The initial recruitment and interview process was great, the few people I spoke to on the phone were so lovely and helpful. Referee stage was difficult and took a long time but the staff were polite the whole time.

I got my job in banking industry from HAYS Recruitment:) I was so glad that HAYS offered this opportunity to me.
Although it is a temp role, I am still so thankful.
