My haircut by Jen was great!
Only drawback was someone else washed my hair and did the gel, but realising my fine hair didn't need much gel. I had to rewash it the next day to get rid of the excess gel.

Thanks girls for a wonderful first time experience at Haylo today. I’m not usually a fan of going to hairdressers and sitting for hours in a sterile setting etc. But Haylo was like stepping into a serene retreat where I didn’t want to leaveHayley and her team are so warm and friendly and made me feel special all afternoon. I haven't had the best experiences with salons. They usually treat and cut my hair as if I were any other client who walked in - totally disregarding my curls.
Haylo was amazing!
Not only are they curl experts, they genuinely LOVE curly hair. Finally! Hairstylist who want to champion curly hair. Who admire and are in awe of curly hair the way that I am.
The team are excellent. Not only do they cut and style - they care about educating curly girls. They want the experience to be upbuilding and informing.
The space is charming. It's a great vibe with lots of beautiful backdrops and perfect lighting to get snaps of your new cut.
Definitely worth a visit

I just want to thank Hayley and Mia for my fantastic hair cut and colour yesterday! I am so glad I finally got to experience this beautiful place. Everyone was so professional and nice and helpful. I can’t wait to go back. I have not ever had a better hair cut, for my curly/wavy hair than the one I had yesterday. Thank you so much Hayley.

Everyone was absolutely lovely. They helped me learn about my hair and cut it perfectly. Couldn't recommend more highly. The icing on the cake was the cheese and wine platters and the offer a blankie x

I've never had a curly cut before and went to Haylo because most of the women in my family do. So I whilst I was in the Gong I thought I'd give them a try. Amazing! From the education session first up with Zacky (excuse the misspelling), through to my wash with Sari and cut with Hayley, I feel like almost every staff member played a part in my making my hair amazing. I hadn't visited a hairdresser for three years as I generally don't enjoy the experience but this was w o n d e r f u l. They made sure I was happy with the plan before doing anything, there were no surprises and my hair looks great. The staff were friendly and caring and gave me some really good tips for achieving my hair goals. I also love that they use Clever Curl products- the only products that have ever tamed my wild hair and prevented it from drying out and splitting. They're also free from harmful chemicals, vegan friendly and you can refill used containers at the salon. They're marketed as a curly salon but I have straight hair and that wasn't a problem. It's also a gorgeous studio and my cut was appropriately priced.

The most welcoming, professional, friendly hairdresser I’ve ever been to. Worth the drive from southern Sydney every time. My hair is always cut beautifully, I’m treated like family, and the silent visit option is such a blessing for those times you just need some mental space.

Seeing the reviews I was exited, I had my first curly hair appointment booked last Friday at 2: 15 the stylist asked me to come in half an hour earlier which I was happy to, I arrived 1: 45 greeted warmly however the stylist didn’t start doing my hair until 2: 30! I was ok to wait however I am not happy with how my hair turned out, it is way shorter than what I asked. I can barely tie my hair up, the curls look great and healthy but I spoke up about how I wanted to grow my hair and not cut off so much! I don’t like the cut at all!

I loved every bit of my experience at Haylo Hair! The Salon is beautiful and relaxing, the staff is knowledgeable, casual and really nice. They thought me how to care for my own hair without pressuring me into buying products. The result was amazing and the overall experience just great! I won't go anywhere from now on and I have even started using their service for beauty because I liked the hair salon so much.

Okay if you're a curly haired chica and hate the hairdresser GO HERE!
I've always walked out of haircuts holding back tears and after going here I let them fall because this is the first time I've had a good hair cut. Ever. I felt listened to, and two weeks down the track I'm loving my curls even more. They took it slowly, walked me through everything they did and they seriously know their curls.

I have had my hair cut by Hayley ever since I started Curly Girl two or three years ago. The professionalism, the fun and energy of the salon, the advice, and chats are the best. Today I had my hair cut by Jen and can rave just as much about her as Hayley. I had a fantastic morning with Jen cutting off most of my lockdown lions mane to a graduated long bob. 10/10 cannot recommend enough!
