Helpful and knowledgeable staff, due to small size of store selection of products limited, usually able to purchase what we want, only electronics and white goods for sale.

Can be a wait for assistance as they are generally busy but once received service is helpful and friendly.

The best service we have ever experienced from a Harvey Norman store. We went in after our new GoPro (purchased from Taree store) stopped working.
Josh the store manager was more than helpful.
We ended up upgrading our mobile phone plans while we were there. They were more knowledgable than any optus store I've visited -been an optus customer for almost 10 years. They knew the services and products better than anyone from Optus that I've dealt with before.

I purchased a clock radio in store this morning and found Geno to be very helpful, engaging and professional

Terrible service! I ordered photos online and when my mum went to pick them up for me she was told their printer was broken and they didn't know when it would be fixed. So I called and asked if they could print them in Taree and get them brought down to Forster. They said yes, but I would need to put the order in again and then get a refund when I picked them up. So I had to go through the whole order process again and pay extra because I then needed them printed the same day. Went to collect my photos and they didn't know how to do the refund. Waited around for 10 mins and they still didn't know what they were doing so I told them I had to go and could they ring me when they got it sorted. I never got a phone call. Went back down a week later, waited around for 10 mins while they tried to work it out again and was then told I need to request a refund online! I will not be going back there ever again.

For washing machines TV's videos computers ovens and another box of all things good people to deal with

The lady was very helpful found what we were after. Being Sunday it was lovely and quiet didn't have to wait on the side to get served. Ever Father Christmas was taking it easy. It was a shame there were no glasses of wine being handed out.

Great place for all your electrical appliances TV's ect. Staff are friendly, helpful but when compared to other similar outlets around prices are a little higher. Staff are a bit reluctant to price match so I usually buy elsewhere or on the internet for big savings.

Close to the poorest customer service I have experienced. The store would be better off replacing the staff with life size cardboard cutouts, installing self serve checkouts and employing a security guard to keep watch on things.
At least that way there would be no expectations of help in store. This wasn't an isolated case for me at this store either, but bad enough to make me leave this review.

Got approached and acknowledged within seconds of entering the the shop which is rare nowadays. Also gave me a discount so be sure to do your research and ask for a deal.

Staff know their stuff especially tvs and electronics. Try to help you out where they can.within reason.

Had the best experience shopping for a fridge at H. N. Forster with a wonderful service provider called Alayne. She was full of information and her customer service was superlative. I found their range of goods to be excellent. I highly recommend you visit them and have a chat with Alayne.

A very disappointing visit. Staff quit disinterested in helping me find the, fridge which was advertised. The lady at the checkout was to the point of sarcasm and then we had to make a decision on the spot if we wanted it, because it would have to come from TAREE. I looked at my husband and shook my head. We then returned to REZIE (Retravision) and had wonderful service, free delivery and removal of old fridge. Excellent service and even told us he couldn't match the competition; so we should go to Harvey Norman. Went back to REZIE and bought a bigger fridge any way.

Truthfully I was only there a few minutes to collect a "Click & Collect" online order. I'd been told by Head Office in Sydney that the Forster store contained only Electrical products & therefore the rest of my order would be posted free of charge, which was a mix-up on the part of Harvey Norman Online. Still it looked like it had a fairly good variety of Electrical products including TVs though. Having said that, it is disappointing that the store isn't bigger, given the increasing population of the area. I guess that's part of the reason for a surge in Online shopping these days.
