22Excellent customer service from Andrew, Connor, Toby and John in the tech department. We went to many tech stores to check out BYOD laptops ready for back to school. The service from these guys was well above the rest of the competitors stores that we visited. Price wise we were also looked after. Give these guys a visit for electronic purchases, you won’t be sorry.
The worse online seller. I bought a vacuum in Black Friday deals with 50% off then they announced me that it is not available now but will be ready next week. I waited and waited, after 3weeks with many follow ups they told me that it won't be available till the end of Jan (more than 2 months delayed). Actually they didn't even call me to inform this inconvenience. When I asked for a refund they told me they only could cash back the amount of money spent with no compensation, I have to fill the form online not on phone.and still no call back on my enquiry after 4-5 days.
I was served by a lovely guy in the computer services section on Wednesday afternoon. He honestly made my day, he was so kind and helpful. The store should be very proud to have such an intelligent and friendly employee.
I attended many stores who advertised custom lounges but this is one of few who said they could make a velvet green sofa bed that wasn't a futon style but unfortunately the staff were extremely rude, unhelpful and judgemental so I took my service elsewhere.
10 out of 10 experience from start to finish Serj was really helpful wasn’t pushy with sales let me browse at my pace and helped me when I needed it and Mel was really good at the register and was helpful as well - the delivery men Kianan and sorry forgot the others guys name were amazing they were early unpacked my fridge and took it up the stairs I know that would have been a pain but they made it look easy - really recommend going to this Harvey Norman in Kotara I have never had such great service from every single touch point thanks heaps from Dani:)
Be warned, placing an online click and collect order with this store DOES NOT GUARANTEE COLLECTION AT THIS STORE. Be prepared to go elsewhere at the whim of the store. Of course they wont tell you till AFTER you process your order.
Robbo gave us great service and advice, went to get a heated blanket and got more than expected for a lower price, got a weighted heated blanket and was 75% off $199 down $49.99 great place to shop
I haven't had a bad experience here personally but this afternoon I witnessed staff members verbally attacking two young female customers. Staff were gossiping loudly in a group when I heard the female staff member ask one of the young customers really aggressively if they "had a problem" and then both her and a male staff member proceeded to verbally attack the two young girls. I have never seen staff act so unprofessionally. I left immediately and will not be back.
Now this place I always thought was great. I have bought thousands of dollars worth of stuff here. The last few times I have been there has been an absolute joke. Eg; Asked for advice on Bluetooth head phones due to my buds not connecting. Was just told I was wrong in the way i was connecting and should go home and try again? Nice sales technique. My wife went there to buy me Bluetooth headphones (not aware I was there weeks earlier) for my birthday and they sold her something completely unadaptable for our TV. Not Bluetooth like she asked for. When returned she was treated like garbage. Completely disappointed considering how it was my go to for any thing in my household. Will not be going in there again.
Recently went in to purchase laptops, ipads and computers for my business, after a few bad experiences from other retailers it was great to walk in and have someone that genuinely cared and wanted to help.
Friendly, honest and a massive help I can't thank Toby enough, he went out of his way to make sure everything was answered even made a follow up call to see how it was all going.

I was returning an item behalf of my father in law.
I walked in and was met at the customer service desk by a woman who seemed as though she was already anticipating a disagreement.that was red flag #1
Instantly she exclaimed, this isn’t from my store, I can’t refund things not from my store. Red flag #2.
Ok.can I get a store credit?
She said yes.then she decided to inspect the item.but before that she proceeded to loudly exclaim.the packaging was damaged.
I explained It wasn’t damaged.the sticker labels had to be slit obviously to open the item
“WELL I HAVE TO RESELL IT”
Yes ok ma’am… red flag #3
She later said nope I can’t return it it’s been used, pointing to marks that could clearly have been from the manufacturer.but he demeanour was so clearly argumentative I just chose to put my hands up and say “hey don’t shoot the messenger”
To which she rudely dropped my item on the table and said “can’t help you, sorry”
Wow.
Seriously if you don’t want to serve customers with a slither of respect and kindness then gtfo of customer service
Left such a bad taste in my mouth that I won’t be returning. “boohoo” you might say.
But I was having a really nice day until I was met with her attitude and for what?
It costs nothing to be nice.
I didn’t argue.
Anyways I wouldn’t even bother going here.
Paul Berry (Electrical Manager) was very helpful throughout our shop, patient and helped answer all our questions and choose a product right for us, great with price markdowns and lovely salesman and would recommend doing business with him!
Bought two items, a fridge and a tv. For some reason I had to pay for them both separately as two different people helped me. They assured me they’d both be delivered together. I took the day off work and of course only the fridge got delivered, the TV hadn’t been entered in right or something. I ended up having to pick it up as I couldn’t take another day off work to wait for a delivery. Very inconvenient. You need to do better.
The gentleman who helped us today with a new fridge was very knowledgeable and offered excellent customer service when he solved a problem we had with the delivery of the fridge. He is a credit to this business.
Terrible customer service. The technician even laughed at me. He was so rude! They sold me a faulty laptop, and now I have to leave it for the second time in four months so Acer can check and fix it again. Do not buy here as if the item is faulty, they will mistreat you, laugh at your face and will not refund your money. When you buy a new item, you expect that the thing is working in its total capacity, and you do not have to take it for check-ups and change parts all the time. One star is way too much for their customer service!
I shopped at Harvey Norman Kotara on Sunday the 09/02/2020 and was served by Jordan G 6282/38 as per my receipt.
What an amazing, helpful, polite young man he was. Jordan explained things to me in a way that I understood things. Do not let him go Harvey Norman, he is such a credit to the company. I so wish there was more like Jordan. WELL DONE
Bought a laptop in store the other day, staff were friendly and attentive. We have previously bought multiple items through this store with a different sales person each time and are continually striving to get you the best deal and explain the details.
Great store really helped me with what I wanted and the staff were really nice, shopping here now every time.
Have been to this store multiple times, the staff are always extremely friendly and willing to help with any problems I may have. This store has always given me the best deals on any products I'm after. They also have the best technician I've ever met, 11/10, Aaron always gets things fixed in a jiffy. Couldn't recommend a better Harvey Norman!
EXCELLENT STORE!
Came in-store to purchase a new gaming laptop and left with everything i needed to set me up. The staff were very friendly, have great prices and a massive variety of stock to choose from.
I will definately be returning here for my next purchase
