Harvey Norman - Clearance Centre Broadmeadow

I purchased bed, tallboy, matress and coffee table few months ago. I had issues with each item. We were told that delivery person will drop our furnitures on 2nd floor. However, Delivery boy left our 2 beds and 2 tallboy in the hallway and left. Also, During the first delivery, matress was wet but bennett greens replaced it immediately. During the second delivery, there was no screws for bed and tall boy was damaged. In the last delivery, there was a crack on coffee table and didn’t receive support pannel for dining table. I had to ring and email them many times times to fix the issue. Staff were very unsupportive and took a long time to fix the issues. They told me that there boss was on holidays. Luckily, staff named Dianne helped me with support pannel of dining table and refund the coffee table. However, I was very frustrated that I emailed about my damage tallboy but didn’t followup to replace the same. I really feel bad whenever I see my tallboy. I will never ever recommend anyone to shop from harvey norman.

Purchased 8500$ worth of furniture more than 3 months ago and still waiting. The "arrival" has been changed several times after I followed up. Poor service, no communication
Edit ; just been told we can expect our order late May - that well over 5 months waiting time without the service of receiving the goods they already received. Just a heads up on what to expect.

Love to go and get TV or house hold appliances at great prices, even if it has a dent or scratch, the magnets cover them up or kids draw on them

Fantastic customer service, easy parking and pretty good deals with on the spot discounts. Certainly recommended.

We are currently renovating our home and we went to the Broadmeadow 2292 Clearance Centre to check out fridges. We were greeted by Glenn straight away who asked if we need some help. Glenn ended up helping us find an oven, stove top, exhaust fan and looked up the best integrated fridge for our needs and gave us the model and price. I returned the next day Saturday to purchase with my husband but unfortunately Glenn was not working that day. We did get served by a nice person who did look give us a discount and pack and help put our order in our trick. I just wanted to mention Glenn spent made a massive effect with us and had so much knowledge of all the appliances. These days there are not alot of people work in customer service/sales that have such a lovely kind and honest approach that give you confidence when buying big tag items. I again went to the store on Saturday to purchase the fridge and the lovely man that served me put this sale under Glenn's name. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years at Harvey Norman and I will always go the Glenn first to check if I can buy the items from him. What a real pleasant experience I had and I have mentioned the service Glenn gave to my friend on Lake Mac. Thanks Glenn I hope you get the recognition your deserve

Zero followup on a faulty washing machine they just wiped their hands and said not our problem anymore. Have bought multiple things over time but won't go here ever again terrible terrible service and ZERO contact from these clowns

I could spend all day at this store. For all your furnishing and household electronic needs, without having to pay top dollar for the latest. If you're looking to buy a TV for example but are more interested in functionality and price rather than being the latest model, then this is the place for you.

All the advertisements indicated they sold laptop computers. I walked 3.5 KMs to get there only to find out they didn't. So I bought a pushbike from cash converters next door.

We was surprised to see high prices we thought it was discounted items.better to go to a store and haggle a discount for a bargain.

Warehouse staff at Bennett Green are very unhelpful and rude. Except you to tie your load down in the rain after you have spent $$$ on their goods

I rarely provide feedback, but have to on this occasion. My wife recently bought a fridge from this store. She said that the assistant (Nathan) was quite pushy, but she still purchased it anyway.

The issue really began after it stopped cooling after less than a week. I called and spoke to the same sales assistant (Nathan), however he brushed me off on multiple occasions and suggested I should call someone to fix it. Only a week after I purchased it! He couldn't care less about my issue. His attitude was just terrible, borderline aggressive on one of the calls.

The only reason I give this review 3 stars (and not ZERO) is because I finally got through to another sales assistant over the phone. His name was Todd and he was completely the opposite of what I'd dealt with previously. Attentive, supportive and friendly. Would you believe it took a single call to this guy and he arranged to swap my fridge over for another one as it was purchased so recently.

My advice about this store. Try and catch Todd if you're buying here (not that we've actually purchased from him yet), but you can have confidence that he'll take good care if anything goes wrong. The other sales assistant seemed to stop caring at all as soon as my money was handed over the counter.

Good range, staff helpful and knowledgable when they get the chance, maybe just peak period i was there, but staff levels aren't on a par

Checked out the fridges. The one I liked is no cheaper at the clearance store, but they do have lots of other items for greatly reduced prices. If only I had an endless bank account.

Don’t come and offer assistance if you don’t have any knowledge about the product. Don’t make assertions on things you don’t know. Staff member gave incorrect advice about an electrical appliance and when we confirmed in manual that he was wrong, we politely advised him of the mistake he made and we were given a defensive attitude by the employee. Don’t come here! !

Beware of the seconds and ask if they are b-stock. We bought a fridge that we had been told was a second as it had a scratch on it. After a month's use it completely died. After being told by the repairman that the fridge had extensive work already done on the inside and talking to Electrolux I was informed it was a manafacturer referbished fridge. After many calls with both Electrolux and Harvey Norman I did pay an additional amount to receive a brand new fridge. However, I felt this was highly mid leading and would never have bought the fridge if I new it had already had extensive repair. Harvey Norman said they did not know but the repairman had pointed out a large b inside that indicates this. Either they need to train there staff to explain this or the just acted dumb to save face.

As newbies to Newcastle we weren't aware of Havey Norman Clearance Centre. What a great find! Very friendly and helpful staff, great products and exceptional prices, we'll be back!

Great place to go to for Shopping. Everything you may need is here. The staff at this store are friendly and helpful. During this COVID-19 Pandemic time, the staff stand at a fair distance away from you, but close enough for them to hear your questions and quiries that you may have. Worth going to. I'll be back there sometime in the future.
