My new rug is stunning. I'd been shopping around for ages because I have a specific look I'm going for. I looked at a few from west elm or whatever but they're all fake - cheaper for a reason. I wanted something that was authentic because I want to have this rug for the rest of my life. Something beautifully handmade. Nick and Roberto are absolutely legends and endlessly patient. I took 2 months to decide. I ended up going with the jodhpur. Definitely go in and have a look at how they look on the floor. I was worried it would be too dark, but no. To quote the dude, "That rug really ties the room together".

The showroom was not open in time but when a rather flustered Sales Rep did opened the showroom about 10 mins late he offered supreme service- listening to all of my requirements and offering knowledgeable and professional advice. You can also use the online site to check rigs with your own lounge room, but nothing beats going in store to get the right colour and fit. Highly recommend

We recently needed to purchase rugs for our home, after having the interior re-painted. Our daughter-in-law recommended Hali Rugs at Waterloo. Given that I am not very decisive, I headed off with some trepidation. I need not have been concerned. On the first visit, armed with photos of our rooms and measurements, I encountered Roberto who could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable or accommodating. He assured me that we could take rugs home to see them in-situ. A couple of days later I returned, this time with my husband. On this occasion, Nick helped us and he too was just as amazing, making the whole process a joy. He was helpful and obliging. We headed off with 5 rugs - the large one as pictured, two runners and two for a smaller room. We purchased the large rug as shown, one hall runner and one smaller rug. All are lovely, but the large rug is simply beautiful, we can't believe the change to the room and we know we will just love the rug for years to come. A huge thank you to Nick and Roberto, for making what could have been a bit of an angst filled process, so fun and enjoyable. We will tell anyone who listens and even those who don't, that if they need beautiful rugs and exemplary, friendly assistance, Hali is the place to go!

I was drawn to Hali rugs because of the range of Art Nouveau rugs designed in New Zealand and made in India from New Zealand wool. One design in particular. Roberto explained that it would need to be ordered and we were happy to put down a deposit and wait. Roberto phoned to tell us when the rug finally arrived on schedule. However, it had been incorrectly labelled at the source and turned out to be not the one we ordered. Roberto was profusely apologetic, took responsibility, went the extra mile to have the right rug flown in for us asap. We are really happy with the beautiful rug that now graces our lounge room which mirrors the colour and design of the leadlights in our windows. And we couldn't be happier with the quality. Thank you Roberto!

Roberto was very accommodating at Hali Rugs, bringing in a rug from interstate without obligation so I could check the hand feel and colour rather than buying sight unseen online, although I was not disappointed. The colour was accurate and the quality is great, the rug looks great in my space and both Roberto and Nick were super helpful both instore and post purchase service. Would definitely recommend.

It was a pleasure shopping at Hali. The rugs are beautiful and of high quality. Adding to the positive experience was the excellent customer service we received from Nick. He patiently showed us a few rugs that met our needs and we certainly didn't feel any pressure to buy. We did however purchase a rug and I am hoping that it will look great beneath the coffee table. If you are looking for a rug you must definitely visit Hali at Waterloo.

Searching for a rug for our new apartment I came across Hali rugs Sydney in Dank St. I could have purchased three designs that I instantly liked. They allowed me to borrow and try before purchase. Now it defines my dining area and feels wonderful underfoot.
