I volunteered in Gunnebah for three weeks and had an amazing time there. The place is beautiful, the guests, the staff (and the animals) are lovely and the food is great too:) I oftentimes joined for daily yoga and meditation and got to learn so many new things about myself and others. Thank you so much for the wonderful time that I got to spend in Gunnebah!

I stayed at Gunnebah for about three weeks as a volunteer, I have learnt more about addictions and their solutions. Staff is friendly, skilled and knowledgable.
I haven't give a 5stars only because I am "vegan" and meals are nor really suitable.
My stay there was great!
Thanks a lot Gunnebah

I can not tell anything about what it's like being a guest there, but as a volunteer you can definitly have a lot of fun and discover new skills and mindsets. The guests seemed quite happy for what they have to be going through. Everyone was friendly and open. The food was amazing.

I volunteered at Gunnebah for two weeks and wish I could have stayed longer. Beautiful property with beautiful people - it feels like a one big family. Food was great and even as a Vegan I got my tummy full every meal:) everyone is friendly, the atmosphere is very relaxed and non-judgemental. Beautiful yoga and meditations in the mornings. Really loved joining guest on their activities too like a beach walk in Cabarita. Highly recommend!

I was been there for one week as a volunteer and I wished I could spent more time at the Gunnebah, but my travel goes further! Thank you for the good time!

I have been a volunteer in Gunnebah and I would like to say a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Since the first moment I felt home.
There is no difference between people. There are guests, member of the staff and doctors, volunteers and friendly dogs and each one it’s fundamental to create the whole energy that emanates this place.
We are all at the same level and I remember eating during lunches and dinners and feeling like I was in a family.
Of course, it’s not just a big family but mainly a healing location where people with alcohol or drug addictions can create new healthy habits which could then be added to their lives and feel more balanced and strong overcoming their problems.
But for me it’s much more than this it’s just union of pure loving energy and good vibes.
Other than that it's a place that allows you to just be your self. I mean, you can totally feel free to be and let go your nature without being judged. Everyone wants to know your real you and how do you feel for real inside.
I believe it’s a common feeling for everyone going there.
I truly believe in their way of dealing with this difficult situations and it’s amazing to see the improvement in the mood and attitude of the guests after few days they are there. Of course, everyone has their different needs and timing to react.
I just can thank you all so much. And a special thank you to Chris for being always delicate and patience, thank you Warwick for your words and your way to make me feel welcome, thank you Carol for making me laugh and reflect, Shian for teaching me the amazing practice of yoga, and thank you Scott for teaching and making me discovered many things, being concern about our health and correcting my English! Thank you of course to all the volunteers I met and the guests who have been and will be good friends.
I met people who I’ll never forget. Cause I feel a better person since I left.
It has been one of those experiences in my life that added something more to my soul and it’s a rare feeling.
Thank you for what all you are doing.
Miss Gunnebha a lot!
Ciao!

Gunnebah is a perfect place to recharge yourself, close to the nature, with activities like yoga, bush and beach walks, tennis, the swimming pool is really nice aswell. And a lovely staff willing to help the guests to feel better. Good and healthy food. Good vibes)

A mate of mine stayed there for a month and says it saved his life. He was drinking heaps before he went and his wife was ready to leave. Amazing what a difference a month made.

A lot of the staff are not qualified; look up the background of the Warwick Parer, LLB – Managing Director - you will find he has a bad track record in business and cannot be trusted. The place is a big CON JOB

Gunnebah is no place to send people with addiction problems. My mate came out of that place worse than when he went in and it is a big rip off. Be careful before you send.
