Godfreys reviews
32Have attended the auburn store a few times and have dealt with Omar. I visited today after having issues with my s5 floor cleaner for the second time. I was very grateful for the excellent service I received from Omar. Highly recommend
I went to the store to buy a robo vaccum 30th May 23 around 12 PM. I was attended by a young lady who knew NOTHING about the products she was trying to sell.
Its ok not to know everything about thr product but she then started giving out the FALSE information.
Her attitude was bad and she was rude.
I am definitely not coming back and will let all my friends and family know about my experience and will make sure I post this review on my FB, watsapp groups and everywhere else.
Very disappointing, as I was standing behind a customer who was speaking to the salesperson about returning her vaccum, but that salesperson was really rude and as soon as I saw that I walked out of the store rightaway
A few months ago I came to this store and bought vacuum the supervisor was very nice, smiling, helping super excited, because we wanted to buy a vacuum. But today I went in because I had a problem with my vacuum, their mood changed, they didn’t like it and didn’t provide us a good service like a few months ago. Very disappointed
I'm totally shocked and appalled at the post-sales treatment but most importantly the disrespect I received from Prajol on Sunday 4th of September at the Auburn store. I normally go there with no problems. I purchased a top-of-the-range Wertheim 7 Series Bagged Vacuum Cleaner and paid more to have additional accessories which took the bill to just under $2000. The motorized Hard Turbo Powerhead which is very heavy started to crack the Telescopic Rod and the Wertheim Diverter altogether. One day I went to start vacuuming and it snapped. Understandably this has to be a design fault. The weight of this Head over time is not supported by the telescopic rod and the plastic diverter. I called up the Auburn store just prior and spoke to a really great guy who understood the situation and explained for me to come in with the vacuum cleaner and I would get a replacement. I didn't want any money back because it is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever had. However the day I go in, Prajol was so rude, and dismissive, saying that I had "mistreated" the vacuum cleaner. Prajol started to make accusations saying it was my fault and further spoke in some dialect under his tongue. I felt so humiliated as I left and said I will report this. Under the Australian Consumer Act Schedule 2, I have entitled to a refund/replacement but also an apology for being treated with complete disrespect. I just want my vacuum to work, mistreating a vacuum is something I'm still trying to figure out. How can ANYONE mistreat a vacuum cleaner? I wonder if there is a precedent in any court where there is a well-known case of Vacuum Mistreatment. I'm really baffled here.
Wonderful service by Prajol - he was friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. He was also happy to price match our vacuum to a competitor and was super helpful - highly recommend going to this Godfreys!
Had an amazing customer experience at Auburn Godfrey’s with the salesman Faisal. Very knowledgeable gentleman who understood our needs, and was able to sell us a suitable vacuum cleaner!
Had a great experience buying a Hoover vacuum today at Godfreys- thank you to Faisal for his insightful advice and friendly, good natured approach.
The guy that helped was very professional, got my online order ready then continued to show what other products they had to offer. All and all good spot and friendly staff.
Very bad customer service experience. No replies to emails, they only know how to sell and rip customer off.
I went there but they can never ever help and on top of that one of the workers have flu like symptoms too. Not good ppl
Very bad service. They tried to sell their displayed vacuum cleaner when I asked if they had stock. Not only they tried to charge me with same price as brand new from box, they tried to sell steamer which I didnt even ask. Goto bankstown godfreys. Smaller but has everything in stock n doesnt try to sell you displayed stuff for same price as boxed ones. Rude and greedy. No thanks.
I don't think these guys can be trusted. I went for a hard floor washer. The seller told Tineco (promoted only by Godfreys) is better as it has self cleaning function but Bissel doesn't and I will have to clean it manually. But I bought Bissel which is cheaper and found out that it also has the same self cleaning function. Also, things are expensive compared to other places like GoodGuys. The same was hundred dollars cheaper at GoodGuys. Sneaky when selling stuff.
Very friendly, easy to deal with, professional and know the value of good customer service. I always leave this store feeling valued as a customer and would highly recommend to any other potential customers
Vacuum purchased for $200 has failed and is back in repairs under warranty.
At the time of purchase staff spoke highly of it but when brought not working was told thats what happens with the cheap ones by staff. I am not a wealthy person and $200 to myself is a substantial amount of money. Would of appreciated honesty from staff in the first place.
Very gud services.i bought a vacuum cleaner from there.that is not work properly. Manager is very gud dealing and he replaced and very gud dealing.i really appreciate them.thx. Arun
Nothing against the store but the staffs are impolite and they humiliate the customer. I purchased a display product because I was getting the same warranty buy in a less price. But the way the salesman behaved was unacceptable. Moreover they looked like not interested in selling. I was the one who was probing and probably I had better knowledge about the product than them.
I visited the Auburn store and was greeted by Alex who was extremely helpful and knowledgable about the different types of vacuums available for purchase. He could tell the first few low range vacuum cleaners were not cutting it for me, then showed me the Vorwerk range and I was hooked. I was amazed by how quiet the VK200 (upright vacuum) was and thoroughly enjoyed the demonstration of all its features and attachments. Alex could also tell I had taken an interest in the robot vacuums on display and did a demonstration of the VR200 (robot) for me. Given that I knew nothing about vacuum cleaners, I took a lot of time in the store and didn't realise the store had actually closed while Alex was still giving me demonstrations and answering my questions, but I didn't feel like I was being hurried or pressured to make any decisions. I can appreciate a quality machine, but I can also appreciate an engaging demonstration and attentive customer service. Needless to say, I left that day with the VR200 (robot). I then came back to Alex a few weeks later and purchased the VK200 (upright vacuum) and the new SP600 (hard floor attachment). I love everything about these products and enjoy how they all work in harmony together. I will be sure to go back to Alex at Auburn Godfreys to purchase the rest of the Vorwerk range!
Went to pick up a vacuum cleaner and the staff was rude. I don't think I have ever had a sales experience where the staff sales pitch was to demean and undermine a customer's knowledge. The guy who was there Monday morning needs to be sacked or given an overhaul on how he sells.
Horrible store they deceive customer they sell faulty product they know it is faulty soon they get your money they show you them ugly side never deal with them wolves in the cloth of lamb horrible after sell service.
