Gerringong Surf School

Our son recently attended the Surf, Skate and Meditate sessions. Absolutely brilliant experience! Jordan and Coby are a credit to the surf school and are excellent at teaching the kids step by step while giving them all the confidence to give everything a go. Watching our son improve in 3 days was fantastic. Awesome Christmas present and looks like a new surfboard is needed. Thanks for an awesome few days.

My kids recently attended the Surf, Skate & Meditate sessions with Jordan and Kobe. From the moment of booking through to the final lesson, the guys have been professional, approachable, knowledgeable and super helpful.
My 10 and 8 year olds both had an absolute blast, conquering challenges, catching waves and want to continue learning to surf.
This positive outcome is a direct result of having coaches who are passionate and genuinley interested in sharing their love of surfing, skating and meditating with the kids in a fun, inclusive and encouraging environment. Highly recommend.

A wonderful experience for my teenage son at the SSM Camp. The instructors go above and beyond to facilitate a fun and friendly lesson in the surf, at the skate ramp, and meditation. They were very patient with my son and most helpful and welcoming. This was our second Camp and look forward to the next one. Thank you so much guys, you absolutely rock

My husband has a very professional lesson with coach Sony. Sony is super experienced and very patient. Under his guidance, my husband has been able to surf in the ocean many times! Thanks Sony again!

My 2 sons attended the holiday camp and had the best time! They were so excited each morning to go. All of the teachers were amazing with the young kids in particular Jordan, Koby and Bailey.

Jordan and the team were excellent. Our boys really enjoyed the school holiday programme. Will definitely be back again next term.

My 7 year olds just completed Surf, Skate & Meditate with Gerringong Surf School and they loved it! Both haven't skated or surfed much and by the end of day 3 they were riding a skateboard along the path, and standing up on the surf school foam boards. Weather wasn't the best on the last day, but that didn't stop the kids from having a fun time. All of the coaches had great energy to keep the kids excited & engaged. My kids especially liked the meditation part as they got to eat home made cookies and brownies and reset after skate lessons to get ready for surfing. Asked who their fave teacher was, they said Jordan:) But the others were great too (they just couldn't remember their names). Highly recommend!

What a fantastic experience. We enrolled my 7 year old son in Surf, Skate & Meditate holiday camp. Jordan, was amazing, very welcoming and left a very positive impression on my son. My son who is rather hesitant to try new things, loved this camp and begged for us to enroll him in the after school programs. There was honestly no better feeling than arriving and watching his grin from ear to ear, whilst skateboarding and showing me his new tricks or sharing the stories from standing up on the surfboards with a new friend. Big kudos to the team for getting all of the kids out of their comfort zone, build there resilience and confidence to try new things whilst testing their abilities. We can’t wait to be back - for the long term:)

This is the best surf school. All of the instructors are so good with everyone. My kids had the best time on the school holiday program Surf, Skate and meditate. Shout out to Jordan for prevailing with my daughter in the final skate session and getting her to go down the ramp by herself.

The only thing better than Jordan and Sonny’s instruction is their enthusiasm. They get a genuine thrill every time one of their students catches a wave, and it’s positively contagious. The way they manage to get all ages, all shapes, and all sizes to not only participate, but learn and master something as challenging as surfing is a testimony to just how good this surf school is. Can’t wait to go back for more.

Sonny was an awesome instructor! Gave us the basics and helped us throughout the entire lesson. Would 100% recommend-just make sure you go on a day when it’s not windy!

I cant reccomend Gerringong surf school highly enough. Rusty and his team were truly amazing. Their enthusiasm and engagement resonated strongly with our kids. We'll defintely be back!
