Ok holiday rental places - they sneakily bill you extra cleaning fees at the end without a phone call, just an email while you drive home. I recommend staying a hotel.

George Brand have, without my permission, been marketing the sale price of my property that was "price withheld". The sale was only recently completed, it was sold by another agent and is not yet publically available information. Completely unprofessional!

Tim kept me informed during the complete process and was never "short" with me, no matter how many questions I had. He also achieved the price that he quoted me and did not pressure me to accept a lower offer, although several offers were presented to me.

Don't trust this company with property management they let us down and then don't trust them with your mail you don't get it all which can be very expensive

Disgusting rude.never replied to 3 of our airbnb requests.only for me to call the real estate, wait 2 days for a call back to be greet with a trouble attitude rude individual, questioning me rudely whether we’re a “schoolies group”, felt extremely pressured and i said yes (we’re not a schoolies group) to then being told “we don’t let schoolies groups” and hanging up immediately. This conversation was no longer then 30 seconds. I wish i got the name of that person by how disgusting rude and unprofessional to speak to me as if i’m a child. Never recommending this place, glad we didn’t give our money to this horrible real estate.

I've had a great experience leasing through George Brand Avoca.
All the Ladies who answer the phone are polite, helpful, and personable.
Our Realtor Scot Harvey is very helpful and reassuring. He is on top of the market with many insights to bring to us weekly.

I run a plumbing contractor business which is requested to maintenance on holiday rentals. It is important to get fast and accurate information on vacancy, current or impending short term tenancy. Access with keys, phone and emails are efficiently communicated. A pleasure to do business with George Brand Real Estate Avoca Beach.

Beware of this real estate. Had to reschedule our approved booking due to no cleaners on a public holiday. Home and pool was not cleaned properly. Mugs were dirty and bins were half full.
Was called on the Sat after our stay by a Michelle saying to me that there are scratches on a table and was emailed close up pics of scratches on a table. Michelle led me to believe that the scratches are from our stay and that she had pictures of the table prior to our stay with no scratches on it. I was confused about the claim as we literally sat on the table once. The following day while i was still waiting for the promised time stamped pictures of the table from before our stay, $1000 was deducted from my credit card, without authorization, for the scratches.
I had to call and complain and was still charged $250 at the end without proof of before and after pictures.
My credit card was supposed to be held without a deduction. You deducted without authorization. Stop lying

Excellent Service and so accommodating!
Our business recently had to travel for 3 months to and from the Central Coast for work and Michelle and the team at George Brand were so helpful in finding us adequate accommodation for our staff.
Nothing was ever too much trouble and they were often able to accommodate us at very short notice!

Very disapointing rental organisation!
Not in touch with the community or their competition.
The property we rented was not cleaned and the garden and pool were not attended to prior to our arrival. For example we vacuumed one small room and got 3 x dyson full loads of dirt)
It took a long time to get some issues resolved and some never were, so we gave up.
Upon departure they tried to charge us for not leaving the property in the condition it should have been in when we arrived. This was despite written documentation disputing the state of the property at the time of our arrival.
(We forgot to dust the roller blinds we didn’t use)
However they overlooked that we had
*Installed stair hand rails to two sets of stairs
*Replaced and fixed several lights
*Cleaned all cupboards
*Replaced feet and completely rebuilt 9 outdoor folding chairs
*Painted all our wall marks together with those marks and dings of previous tenants
*Weeded the garden and cleaned the pool
*Fixed the leaking laundry taps
*Fixed and cleaned several windows
*Fixed door handles with missing screws
*Fixed several leaking window winders and seals

Be very careful if you rent from this company.
Cover yourself on the ongoing inspection as anything you miss will be your expense to fix/clean on your departure. However they are quick to put their hand out for your money.
We had to sign a document that we would not try to return to the property once we have handed in the keys. The agent wasn’t able to get to the property for several more days. However the bond board web site states that you should inspect with your agent on departure so that you can fix any defects before you go.
George Brand rentals treat you with prison guard manners.
Beware!
