We own a home across from Tamarama Beach in Sydney and wanted to rent a place on the Central Coast for a couple of years to get a feel for the area. We contacted the agency and were told we would be notified when we could view the property as there were currently tenants. This was 10 days ago and now without any notification, the property was shown last Saturday and has now been leased. This is not the way to conduct business and when we sell here I will not be buying through them.

We bought our new home through Kathleen. She helped all the way to make the sale go through as quickly and as smoothly as possible despite some unexpected challenges and made us feel as important in the process as the vendor. Completed on time with a smile on our faces

Holiday renting our home at Christmas was a seamless experience. The holiday rental team were amazing, would recommend highly.

Matt has been an outstanding agent in every way and has helped us achieve a result that we did not think was possible. He is an absolute pleasure to deal with, he has a real positive energy and enthusiasm for his work and has been completely open and honest with us throughout the whole process. His communication and organisation has been faultless and we were also impressed with the way he dealt with potential buyers. The professionalism and service we received from Matt is second to none.

Had a terrible experience with George Brand Real Estate on Airbnb. Awful communication (near complete lack of), and they refused my booking after asking who myself and the guests were, which seems irrelevant and rude. For context, I was trying to book a girls weekend away, and we are all between 25 and 29 years old. There was no reason given as to why they rejected my application, in fact when I requested one I was completely ignored. Would never recommend booking a holiday property through them, and by the looks of some of the other reviews on here, I’m glad we didn’t.

These guys were great. We dealt with a lot of real estate agents recently and George Brand is a standout.

Very friendly and efficient

Beware do not use this agency. They falsely advertised a holiday rental house to look amazing and of high quality and it was far from it.

A day before we arrived we realised through another web page advertising this holiday home that the property owner would be staying there at the same time as us so we called to complain because we really wanted our own space and privacy because we were paying so much money for the house. When I called the staff at George Brand Avoca Beach to complain as to why they had not specified on the web page that the owner would be staying at the property she said to me " can I ask what ethnicity you are cause we had a Muslim family stay before you and they found it very private". I couldn't believe my ears as to what had just come out of her mouth. I was not aware that privacy is based on your religious beliefs. I was then left a dismissive voice message saying "see you Monday at your check in the man has assured us he won't get in your space".

We got to our rental and the place was dirty, spider infested, not cleaned after the last renters with food scraps on plates and blood on the bed sheets.

The pool was infested with red back spiders and broken glass was all around the pool. This place was not child or human friendly. The grass was over grown and we had to ask the man to cut it so we would be able to access the backyard.

I have since sent two emails to George Brand Avoca agency and they refuse to respond to my emails.

Will never use them again and I highly recommend you don't use them as they are not professional at all.

We paid for a 7 nights stay at the property and only lasted 2 nights before we had to flee. We were given 1.5 hours to pack up 3 families and leave if we wanted to get less then half our money back.

We loved our stay at the Arden Avenue place and especially loved that we were allowed to have our dogs with us. George Brand made the whole process so easy and we will definitely be using them again in future! Thanks guys.
