I was referred to Focus Estate Agents when selling my father's house by our solicitor, who had utilised their expertise earlier in the year to sell his apartment. When we weighed up the differentiating factors between Focus and the agents of a national network such as Ray White, it was close, however, Focus differentiated themselves by presenting a more tailored, imaginative, yet realistic campaign approach, and we were keen to give them the benefit of the doubt. We are SO Pleased that we chose the approach of Focus and their team, led by the highly capable, and thoroughly professional Van and Bianca, both of whom distinguished themselves by the end of our campaign in going the extra distance to see it through.

They certainly faced a tough challenge as we were selling in a market that had already decidedly turned due to sliding economy.

The fickle nature of buyers cooling off in a rapidly devaluing market meant that the length of our anticipated campaign extended by nearly 3 weeks, however, it was what they did after we faced adversity, which set them apart. They took the extra effort at every turn to leave no stone unturned in their approach, and this meant that we found a new set of interested buyers, competing for the property. In the end, we not only found the right buyer, but Van and Bianca led the negotiations to ensure that all parties were very happy with the outcome.

- Much more responsive. When I call, they answer or call back ASAP
- Very upfront and realistic about chargeable rent so I don't advertise too high and leave my property empty for too long.
- Very hands on with your search for a new tenant with quick follow-up calls to potential tenants and mid-week open houses if required.
- Very skilled at their professional photo service (trust them - they know the best angles for your property!)

Overall, they will go above and beyond to give you the peace of mind you need and give you your money's worth for the management fees they charge - without palming you off to a clueless intern after winning your business like most other agencies do.
