Flying Doctor Outback Heritage Experience, Broken Hill reviews
37Arrived late so had no option but to visit the shop & I bought a few thing too. Very helpful & friendly staff.
Wonderful social service provider for the rural communities. Excellent place to know the difficulties associated with providing medical services to our regional communities. An eye opener experience. Support this wonderful organisation.
Extremely interesting. Russell our tour guide spoke with humour and a clear passion for the RFDS.well worth visiting if you are in Broken Hill.
Today was an extraordinary experience taking the tour and learning about the history of this magnificent service and the dedication of its staff. Andrew was informative in his presentation that captivated the entire group for the duration of the tour. All aspects consolidate why we support the RFDS. Thankyou to everyone. Australia needs you.
Amazing. You need to go and find something to buy in the shop as the Royal flying doctors are only partially subsidised by govt and they have to raise all the other funds themselves (like CFA, SES, Coast Guard etc)
Wonderful exhibition and you even get to go inside the hangar and see planes! Lovely friendly and knowledgeable guides.
Was good, a bit pricey for the whole tour.
Did the half tour to see the hanger and planes.
Still enjoyable.
Brilliant, came here 10 years ago and it was great, 10 years later, brilliant. Enjoyed it more this time, even more informative.
A must do experience to learn about this important service.
Very informative presentation.
Great little tour with people very keen to explain the history of the RFDS. Really interesting to see how it started and where it is now. Looking forward to seeing the new TV series.
Fascinating tour, well worth a look at the history of the RFDS, well presented and a great gift shop too!
Very goid customer service, awseome experience and an amazing time! 100% worth the visit! A lot of history and a lot of knowledge! Watch the new RFDS on channel 7 in feb 2021
We thoroughly enjoyed our informative tour, run by Andrew. He was a great guide, very knowledgable and really friendly. Supporting the brilliant work of the RFDS is a no brainer - head out to this site and you won’t be disappointed!
Travellers do not bypass this as it is very informative and a must see. I will be making a monthly donation when I return home. Thank you to the staff for showing us around, its an eye opener.
Interesting. Well done and passionately presented. And most of all - this is a REALLY important public service for outback Australia.
Great staff and excellent presentation, very informative and interesting. The RFDS do a great job in bringing medical services to remote Australia.
