Flower Power Garden Centre Glenhaven

My wife and I went back to the store on 27.12.2021 at 11 30am to purchase an outdoor setting for $2,200.00. We had to go back to the car to get her credit card. As we went to exit we excused ourselves as we went to move past a gentleman at the cash registers.
The young cashier told my wife not to be so rude and directed us not to use the sales area as an exit.
My wife wasn't rude but quickly became annoyed at the cashier so we left and went to Harvey Norman and purchased an outdoor setting for $2,000.00.
The cashiers attitude was very rude so we weren't prepared to patronise this store again.

What a rude Manager! In the Grass sale area, was so shocking to see someone being so un- respectable to their customers. Never going back to this store.

I paid for 5m3 for turf underlay. When it was being delivered I noticed it looked less than previously delivered (same amount ordered few times before). Measured it with the wheelbarrow and it was 3m3. Called the store and spoke with couple of people including the Manager. No one could do anything to sort this out. Be careful people, these guys could be cheating you without you realising. I feel cheated and very disappointed. In 2019, I moved into my new house and I myself have been doing the landscaping and gardening when I have time and spent thousands of dollars at Flowerpower Glenhaven in buying plants and material. I still haven’t finished my landscaping and know where not to buy any further items from. It’s very disappointing to be treated like this.

Might want to check on senior moustache guy at the 'click and collect' shop. Racist, angry, arrogant & absolutely rude with only reason being my particular order at that time was too small to his apparent standards.

We are regular customer and regularly come to this flower power in Glen haven. Since the covid restriction we stop coming until few days ago and having this unusual experience with the young guy at the front entrance stopping us coming in because we come from the same household. And also mention cannot browsing inside the shop. Many people turn around including us. We saw some people sitting at the entrance waiting for their wife or husband to come out from the shop.
Why Restricted people to go in if we from the same household and can't browse? How am I suppose to get the soil and pots if my husband not allowed to go inside with me. I can tell you not only me complaint how we get treated in the entrance by this young man. Most of the customers turn around. This young man is a bit agresive since he become authority to stop people coming in and checking the QR. I did the scanning infront of him and stil asking me to show him in a loud voice. We are Not happy customers since I been treat like that. My husband didn't bother to go in at all. I went in and out less than 5min decide to go to bunning instead.

Plants FAR too EXPENSIVE. When they have their sale the plants are then the same price as elsewhere. Sorry, if the price doesn't matter to you - go for it.

Really busy on weekends and the cafe does a great coffee

Always a good selection of plants, pots, gardening tools and accessories. Satisfactory pricing and good quick checkouts. Become a member, buy things and receive generous vouchers for your next visit. Also has a gift store, florist and a cafe. A nice place to shop.

Great atmosphere and staff are very helpful if we can find one.lots of choice for plants however they are a bit pricy.

Large variety of indoor and outdoor plants. It’s always a good idea to check the heavily discounted plants.the ones that are worse for wear.
With some tlc they can often be rejuvenated.
The on-site cafe ’Frankies’ is very popular for meal or just a coffee

First time visitor at Glenhaven Flower Power, totally spontaneous stop as I was driving home and spotted Flower Power and I have gift cards that have been burning a hole in my pocket. This place is huge in comparison to my local Prospect store.

I am have gotten so excited upon seeing all the plants (mostly succulents) I lost my shopping buddy and found her 40 minutes after she discovers the downstairs outdoor furniture section.

Great nursery, plenty of options for plants, outdoor furniture settings and all other gardening needs.

Decadent ice coffee. Just what I needed. Particularly accompanied by a wide selection of cakes when that special tea time comes around. Christmas festivities great place to celebrate with a friend or a group. Celebrating with my friends today with great food, set menu and attention to detail. Staff are forever helpful and professional.

Good variety of plants and they all survived:). We bought soil for veggies patch, happy with the delivery and quality. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for good variety plants and supplies for your lawn. The staff was helpful and helped me out in selecting the hedge plants.

Food was good bit over priced and service wasn't too good. My friend had ordered a hot drink and the lady had said she would come to us when we would like it made we changed our mind and didn't want it made so essentially cancelling the order but they said we couldn't cancel it even after it wasn't even made it. It felt like they were forcing a sale on us and that ruined our experience. The waitress literally told us it was already made but the it wasn't because we waited 5min for it to come out.thanks for ruining our experience by trying to make a buck.

Very large parking area with a big range of landscaping material including pots. Extensive range of plants including an indoor area, plus cafe.

Wear a mask. This place is really busy on a weekend! They have someone making sure you hand sanitise on entry, which is good. Trouble is patrons entering cafe are not maintaining social distancing. No one is monitoring that on the entry to the cafe.

I’ve been visiting this store since I was a girl when it was Knock and Kirby. The nursery has downsized its seedlings and I noticed they have fenced off down the back where the fern selection used to be.
I felt a little sad that it has lost a large selection of its camellias and ferns. The gift store keeps growing but I think it’s lost it’s horticultural heritage.
