F111 Museum reviews
37 What a great museum in a sleepy coastal village. Didn't expect this at all. Some great history here not to mention the awesome F1-11. The grandkids loved it too especially being able to sit in the cockpit of an old Canberra bomber and an insude tour of the Caribou troop carrier.
A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Thanks to the staff and Shane the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer who worked on the F1-11 for 20 years. Very interesting.
I find aircraft fascinating, especially the F111. It is a shame the staff talked so loud we couldn't hear the videos and eventually drove us away with his constant jibber.
Great place to visit with the kids but I was disappointed they asked for $10 per person to sit in there F111 on top of there entry fee
Was a beaut day and the old fella was good to listen to on the history of the planes very pleased we visited
Great museum with quality aircraft. Operated by volunteers who were very knowledgeable about the planes.
Small but fascinating with guide staff very knowledgeable. (One pilot and one ex F111c navigator.) Photo of Bill guiding me through a cockpit check and take-off.
Most enjoyable tour of some of Australia's important military aviation history.
Full marks to the volunteer gentlemen. If it wasn't for their efforts this place couldn't exist. They deserve every support.
A great museum with lots of displays and interaction. Volunteers were great and gave us a tour of some of the displays - lots of info!
THE BEST experience was had by my plane loving son. The awesome men today gave an informed and heartfelt tour to my boy. Their knowledge and the way they pass it on is second to none.
I can't thank you guys enough.
Such a variety of plane's. Your kindness shown today will not be forgotten.
My son had a tour of the F1-11 cockpit and it will not be forgotten.
Thanks guys.
So incredibly interesting and informative. You must stop and see this museum and read the history. You will be impressed.
Awesome little display of a nicely acquired collection of aviation bits, the staff were very knowledgeable
Awesome place to go back in time and learn about all the planes and
their history. Their entry fee is very cheap. Makes for a great family day out.
The quality and quantity of aircraft on display is exceptional.as was the knowledge and enthusiasm of Ken when taking us around the F111.
Great place, lots of information displays, knowledgeable volunteer guides and of course the Pig.
Awesome awesome place to visit. You'll be blown away from the second you walk through the door.
Excellent museum with military aircraft from different wars including f1ll. Volunteer staff friendly and helpful. Worth visiting.
Great for kids of all ages big and small, staff extremely friendly and helpful, my son got some vip treatment well worth the effort
