I’ve been going to Dr Gerald since Jan and my overall well-being went from a two to nine! I had multiple issues with my lower back, arm and a few other persistent issues which made doing my regular chores at home quite difficult. Now I’m very comfortable doing all of that. He also helped me manage stress through some difficult times and I would have struggled without that help, thank you for everything!

Incredible! Have been seeing Dr Gerald for the last 6 weeks and have definitely felt the results. He addressed my restlessness, sleep and sore neck amongst other things and all have improved. Other than that he’s really easy to talk to and explains his methods well. Happy I found him!

We have had help in a number of areas including bed wetting, Pyrrole disorder, methylation issues, reflexes and many more that general GP medicine had little knowledge of and/or were unable to assist with.

At the beginning I was nervous about my 14 year old daughter seeing a chiropractor! My daughter was in severe pain from her scholiosis I saw many orthopaedic surgeons that didn't want to touch her back, but only recommended physio and pain medications, only issue once she was off the medications and physio, her pain kept caming back. On retirement I started playing lawn bowls during the last year I have been in pain with my back which got to the stage I was having difficulty finishing a game I started using a bowling arm to prevent me bending but even this didn’t take the pain away I decided to visit a chiropractor in the hope I could continue bowling and started visiting Dr Gerald Vargas for treatment about 5 weeks ago and to my utter amazement and delight I have been able to stop using the bowling arm and bowl normally with no back pain in the last 5 days I have bowled on 4 of the days with no pain unbelievable

This is my personal experience with Gerald at essential health two years I found lumps in my body and was having night sweats every night for years years of going to oncology haematology ultra sounds biopsies CTscans and much more and after two years of countless visits to these places at the hospital no answers no cure nothing
Then one day I hurt my back at work. My brother said he knew a really good chiropractor. So I thought what's the worst that could happen it could only get better not any worse so I went there he checked me over he found the problems with my back were effecting my organs so he said try this and I did. First night I had the sweats second night I did again by third night they stopped I still have the lumps in my body but I now finally have some relief for the first time in years thank you essential health. And Gerald could not recommend anyone else

I wanted to wait to review until after my second appointment as I don't know that you can give a suitable review after just one but I can't help myself and will adjust this if my opinion changes.

Wow. I have never attended any kind of physician appointment (and I've had 2 children) where anyone has been anywhere near as thorough as Dr Gerald was in our initial consultation. Essential Health is the 4th Chiropractic Practice I have attended however he is the 6th Chiropractor I have ever attended and straight off the bat I can tell he is/will be the best. He checked everything. We spoke so much about history that I felt like I attended a psychology session (sorry for crying, Dr Gerald). I have my second consultation in a week where he will share with me his thoughts and diagnosis and I am literally counting down the hours until then.

The office is VERY clean and the receptionist was lovely, helpful and kind.

I've been seeing Chiropractors for years with mixed results, some good, others unfortunately not so good.
However my experience with Dr Gerald and the team at Essential Health has been wonderful and the results have been beyond my expectations. I was diagnosed with Adhesive Capsulitis (frozen shoulder) over a year ago. Dr Gerald started treating me just over 3 months ago and the progress has been consistent and noticeable after every visit. For the first time in over 12 months I can now sleep with little or no discomfort or pain and my range of movement has improved dramatically. The team are welcoming and considerate and my appointments are on time. Highly recommended!

I went to a previous chiropractor for my son and was told that he didn’t need any adjustments. Months later something told me to get a second opinion.
I was recommended Jonathan. I told him about how my son (6months old) cries hysterically in the car until he chokes and has never fallen asleep anywhere other than me rocking him for over an hour
He also woke frequently every 1-3 hours at night and needed me to rock him back to sleep has always been extremely gassy and constipated and just over all fussy with lots of crying and would never be able to wind him down
As a newborn he was awake for 8 hours straight crying in pain nothing I did would help settle him I spent many nights staying awake while he slept on my chest after hours of rocking
Since My sons first appointment I’ve noticed a massive change
We have been seeing Jonathan for 5 weeks and now
My son doesn’t cry in the car and he falls asleep in there
He isn’t constipated anymore
He sleeps so much quicker before there was no way I could place him down asleep without him waking up, now he is only half asleep and will go down
He has also started sleeping 12 hours a night!
He has even started teething and is still sleeping for 12 hours straight
He is so much happier and doesn’t cry as much only when it’s appropriate
Honestly Jonathan has changed mine and my sons life. I cannot recommend him enough
The adjustments are gentle and he explains everything to me for me to easily understand.
He is extremely professional, friendly and you can tell he has a passion for his work

I have Fibromyalgia, hyper-mobility, bursitis, arthritis and a number of other health issues. I have only had 12 sessions and it is like Gerald has waved a magic wand. My chronic pain levels have gone from a consistent 7-10 each day to a 3-4 at worst most days. I noticed a difference from the very first session!
The staff are not only professional and helpful, but also very lovely. Gerald is very gentle when he makes any chiropractic adjustments and I would strongly recommend this chiropractic clinic to anyone with chronic pain and other health issues.
