I had a copper refresh and gloss done by Kate and I am so happy with the results:) The service was lovely and the layout of the salon is spacious and unique, I would definitely give this place a try if you’re looking for a new salon

Really disappointed with my experience here. I paid $650 for a blonde balayage with Alison and came out with mostly my natural hair with pretty highlights. It looked nice but wasn’t worth $650.

The male receptionist was also really rude and judged me for refusing to book another appointment. I explained I lived 9 hours away and was only in town for the day and didn’t feel comfortable committing to another appointment. He raised his eyebrows and after a pause said ‘… I see’ as if I was being ridiculous. I found that quite passive aggressive and unprofessional.

Didn’t pay $650 to get condescending, snooty service from judgemental staff who think I’m not good enough to treat with courtesy unless I’m a regular.

I get my hair cut, coloured and styled with Elle over at Edwards and Co Kippax street. The whole team is honestly amazing! It’s a great service, they’re always on time and constantly checking to make sure you’re comfortable. They are the best in the business with colour for a reason.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Brendan at the Kippax location is the best hair stylist. He is meticulous & gets the job done right every time. His service is worth every penny.

I've had my hair coloured, cut and toned by Kate and she has been amazing! Having longer, darker Asian hair I was quite nervous about going lighter, but Kate was super professional, has the best advice and I LOVE the colour and cut! I've gone back and since had my hair done with her. I always have a great time at the studio, everyone is super friendly and personable.

I would highly recommend Kate to anyone that is looking for an amazing experience, for both a cut and colour!

Visited Edwards & Co Kippax and had the best results including experience. Julien Masian was my hairdresser and was extremely friendly, professional and we got along really well - quickly. Listened to the style of cut however told him I wanted something different and do whatever he thinks cut/style would suit face shape. Absolutely loved the end result so Thank You!

Would HIGHLY recommend Julien! Lovely from the start and even booked in a touch up appointment (something I don't normally do). Also met Clay the Manager - team was great from the moment I walked in to when I left the salon.

I am so disappointed about my latest experience. I had a few amazing colours and cuts here, but then something went wrong during my last visit. I asked for the same colour and cut (creature of habit), and walked out with a disaster. I immediately gave the feedback, and they booked me in for a correction the following week. Days later, I received an email informing me that the colourist had left the salon. They offered to rebook me with someone more new and junior. I asked for someone equal to, or more senior than, the person who previously coloured my hair. I thought this was a fair and reasonable request, but given the reaction that I received, they didn’t seem to agree. Finally, I was offered an educator, who stripped some the colour, but told me I couldn’t do more for at least 4 weeks without compromising the quality of the hair.

My issue isn’t with the terrible result - hair can be fixed, and sometimes people have off days. My issue is in how they treated me, and how they didn’t sincerely attempt to make it right. I felt they were dismissive to my concerns.

I asked to escalate my complaint, but received the following response: "the highest level contact for customer queries is myself as the salon manager. Any member of the Edwards and Co team in another department or above will refer all correspondence to me. "

Update: the salon manager didn't follow-up, which shows what kind of salon this is.

AMAZING! If you want a haircut or colour that you can guarantee will turn out perfect than look no further. I have been going here for years. I get a cut with Matt (the best haircut in Sydney by far) and colour by Allison (I have never been disappointed) Honestly, I know the price can be daunting but for me personally it is so worth it to know the quality will last!

After having previous hair colour disasters (from other hair salons) i was hesitant to have my hair coloured again but was given thought out advice and nurtured tailoring to suit my hair and needs. Kate Narbeshuber really took the time and catered to my situation. Knowing my hair was going to be a process we were able to start this safely and can't wait to see how my hair progresses.

Matt is the best at cuts! Brendan is an artist with color! And, I love that I get to sit at a table while getting color on instead of in the artist’s chair - much easier to multitask while the color is setting.

First time going to this hairdresser and they absolutely nailed the look which I wanted first time.

Having experienced multiple hairdressers in Sydney, the team here is by far the best I've encountered and I will be returning.

My hairdresser was Elle, and from beginning to end, everything was amazing. She saved my hair, bringing it from a cheese on hay or fried spaghetti look, to natural dark brown, blending away what was the line marking the end of flat earth. I’m so happy with the result and couldn’t recommend the team at the Kippax branch enough. Thank you!

I saw Dylan for extension removal and he was so great & made me feel welcome and looked after! Would recommend and will definitely book with him again!

Matt is absolutely amazing, I have been getting my hair cut with Matt for over a year now and I have never had so many complements about how good the style is.i highly recommend Matt and the kippax st Salon, everyone is so friendly and the wine and pretzels is an added bonus when in the chair.

Not only do they make your hair feel and look incredible but they also educate you on how to maintain your hair for longevity. My review is especially for Dane, who has fulfilled my hair dreams each time I come back, and every time does it to perfection. He is always friendly and willing to help you out to ensure that you are happy at the end of the day. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for quality service for hair colour and haircuts. All of my experiences have been amazing!
