I see Ash at Kippax and honestly she is the best. I followed her from E&Co in George St, and the truly healed my hair. She coloured my hair for my wedding and it was the best outcome! Love her!

I've had my hair done by Rukaya a few times now and I cannot speak highly enough of her work, the colour and cut are always amazing. Both herself and the staff at the Kippax salon make it an enjoyable experience every time

Had such a lovely experience yesterday with Anahi. Transformation I went in wanting was not simple and she exceeded my expectations! Such a lovely girl and absolutely amazing at what she does, highly recommend. Have now found my forever hair girl!

I have been seeing Ashling for around 2 years and she is an absolute hair goddess! My hair was in a really horrible state (due to medication) when I first saw her and now it is in the best and healthiest condition it has ever been!

Ash is professional, caring, offers amazing hair advice and is very honest (which I love!). I look forward to every hair appointment as she is super friendly and really cares about her clients and her craft.

April is an absolute angel and worked her magic on my hair recently I have never been so happy with my hair! I had six months of grown out blonde that looked brassy and dull. I wanted it to be blended more seamlessly and feel blonde again, but also where I could grow it out for a few months and not have to touch it up (times are tough!) she did an incredible job! I absolutely love my hair! She really takes on everything you have to say, and has such an eye for detail. She also encouraged me to get a chop, and cut the dead ends. So my hair feels really fresh and somehow looks fuller! She is very kind and a beautiful person

Ash was absolutely incredible. From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted with a warm smile. She was so lovely to talk to and helped me to achieve exactly what I was looking for. I adore my new hair colouring and cut, and can’t wait to come back for my next appointment. The overall experience was incredible, and I couldn’t rate her highly enough!

I had an appointment with Ash today and was very disappointed with the result. The colour was so much different than i wanted. Given the amount of money you’re paying, you expect to be at least satisfied with the outcome. Although i booked with Ash to do the full balayage and regrowth, she only did half of the job and then left to assist other clients and asked one of the junior assistants to do the rest of the job who is clearly unexperienced. I won’t be coming again to Kippsx St.

Just an update on my review: I booked with Julien to adjust the colour a week after, and I must say that he did an amazing job. I’m very happy with the colour now.

Have been going to this salon for about two years and some change, and have loved my experience with my colorist Rukaya and everyone else that had anything to do with my hair. She is very genuine and listens to what I want even though I let her do what she wants with my hair (not very picky here). She has made my hair look and feel beautiful every time!

This was my first time at here and I had a great experience. My stylist Malia did an incredible job and I loved the result. I will cannot recommend Malia and the salon highly enough!

I had an appointment today and was seeing the lovely Rukaya. From the moment I walked in she makes you feel so comfortable. She coloured, toned and blow dryed my hair. The results were amazing like always. I’ve done my hair multiple times with her and she is exceptional every time. She does it exactly the way I want it and achieves the best results.

Fresh cut and colour yesterday (pics below) I came back to Australia 8 years ago after living in a country where no one was blonde! So it was challenging to get a great colour. I was recommended to see Remington Schultz (now Meyer) at Edwards & Co in Surry Hills. The rest is history

Remi is a master. His cutting and colouring is beautiful and on top of that he is such a great human with a wickedly good sense of humour.

Yes, Remi is at the premium end of the price point, but you’re paying for his years of experience, skill, knowledge and secure in knowing you’ll walk out fabulous. So the question is, at what cost are you prepared to have bad hair that can take months and many more $$$ to fix?

Wanted to share what a great experience I had. I got a treatment, wash, cut and waves done by Nikki. At the beginning she asked me what concerns I have and what I wanted. Nikki put a lot of care into it. The results were exactly what I wanted. Also, the atmosphere was great, everyone was very lovely.

Amazing work and blown away after my first visit. The stylist Emma has done an outstanding job. I had such a pleasant time during my visit and can only highly recommend her and the salon. Well done? Gorgeous work, I will definitely come again

Had a terrible experience here. Kate kept on tending to other customers multiple times during my appointment and this made it very inefficient. She also did a terrible job to my hair (my layers are uneven and the length is so much shorter than she showed me she would cut off). She did not do what I asked. I have never felt so horrible about my hair. Additionally, she made me very uncomfortable by asking me invasive questions about my family and personal life (e.g What are your siblings names? What city do you live in? What does your dad do for work?). A reasonable person would understand that these are inappropriate questions to ask when making small talk. Spend your money elsewhere or choose a different hairstylist if you choose to go here. This is extremely disappointing because I have gone to multiple locations (Crown St & Melbourne) and have had wonderful experiences. Perhaps if she did not spend time tending to other customers it would have been a better outcome.

Not only was I able to get a consultation for my hair the very next day after phoning, but also I was able to get my hair fixed and treated that same day. I am so incredibly grateful for tommy and everyone at the Kippax location. A few days prior I had my hair done in a different hairdresser who completely destroyed my hair, it was unbelievably damaged, uneven and patchy. Tommy was an absolute wizard and transformed my hair back to a healthy state. Stripping out the patchy colouring and treating the damaged hair, then going over multiple times to ensure it was perfect. I am so incredibly grateful for tommy and the team for gaining my confidence back again! (Just in time for my birthday!). I will most definitely be going back. Could not recommend these guys more!

Went to Edwards and Co a couple of weeks ago as I wanted to add some colour to my all natural black hair. I gave the hair stylist a reference of what I was after but also some creative freedom as I had assumed a Senior Stylist would know what would look best to suit me and my skin tone etc.

It was finally time to style my hair in front of a mirror when I noticed that the colour was just not right however, I wanted to see if I got use to it once I got home but unfortunately this was not the case. My friends and family also mentioned that the colour was way too light for my skin tone and the colour placement on the front part of my head was overall, just not right. It looked more so like my hair colour was months old with some brassy bits.

I emailed through and E&C were happy for me to come in to get it fixed. Upon meeting with my stylist again, I was very disappointed to be told that he knew I was coming back because my colour just did not look right when I stood up to go pay - and then proceeds to let me leave after I paid $400 for the service.

My hair was fixed with a gloss and my hair looked fine and nice afterwards but at the end of the day, I paid $400 for ok looking hair. It’s been 3 washes now and all the toner has washed out as it should but I am left with this awkwardly placed and aged hair colour that is also brassy on the front.

Sad to say that I will not return as not only am I out of pocket $400 but also gave away my all natural hair which I have grown out for years to this bad experience. I would personally give this a 1 star review but my stylist was a genuinely super sweet person and had great customer service.

I would like to give a big thank you to Tommy for working his magic on my hair. I came in with different tones of brown in my hair with highlights and he gave me the most beautiful shade of copper hair without compromising the integrity of my hair. Tommy is super friendly, highly knowledgeable and skilled and he made the whole salon experience really enjoyable. I cannot recommend him enough. I can't wait for my next visit, thank you so much for my beautiful hair Tommy!

Have to say I was far from thrilled from the cut. I thought I just didn’t like it but upon second opinion from another salon I was told the cut was of a standard of an apprentice.
- uneven all over
- Extremely short layers that make no sense, and,
- there chunks of hair missing due to excessive layering
Gave the feedback to the salon and they they would only offer another cut within 2 weeks of the original cut “per policy”.
I’m frankly shocked they let me walk out like this to begin with and unsure how they would have fixed this since I still need to grow out my hair.
