I like the range of services and the follow up processes they provide. Friendly and efficient staff.

Would not recommend Educare after coming so close to a diagnosis my sons psychologist left without even letting us know she was leaving we were waiting on a call to see her colleague she referred us to the call never came and I had to chase it up for them to tell me the colleague will not see us ad his booms are closed now we are back to square one! No official diagnosis no closer to helping my child and money down the drain

Saw good results from counselling and speech for my ASD2 son however as he would get comfortable with one there would be a staff change which would disrupt his progress

All the practitioners that are involved with both my children have been amazing. Both kids love their Dr's and get excited for appointments. Very personal and understanding of individual needs.

I have been with Educare since Anne-Marie was a single psychiatrist in a tiny office in Warners Bay. All three of my children have been treated by Educare, and the results were exceptional.

A few years ago I went on Worker's Comp for a mental health issue. I chose an adult psychiatrist at Educare to be my treating psych. He has been great too.

Educare is professional and caring. Choose Educare for your kids and for you as an adult - all in one convenient building at Charlestown.

I have found all receptionists and clinicians to be respectful, patient, understanding, easily approachable and just really great people to deal with. They value my son and it really shows. Can not fault Educare. We have engaged with 3 specialists. (Speech, O. T, psychology) it's great they are all in the one place.

We have been attending services at Educare for years when required. We always know that our requests will be addressed respectfully and promptly. My children are always willing to attend and participate in sessions because the staff & practitioners make them feel valued & safe at all times.
The only thing I don’t love is the location and lack of parking, particularly during times I have reduced mobility. This is not a reflection of the quality of services provided though.

The diagnosis for my son at the time by heather could not have been more inaccurate. Said he would need a lot of help in school, would never be able to make friends, she dismissed our answers to her questions and came to her own conclusions based on who knows what. Our son is thriving in school, has lots of friends and has defied her so called expert opinion. Would never recommend ever

Awesome for adults too:) Moved to Newcastle years ago and was struggling to find a psychiatrist who would take on new adult ADHD patients. Educare to the rescue! Always professional and friendly staff.

I have been referred to Educare, twice by our GP to get help for my 17yr old daughter. The 1st time was for an ASD Assessment and after waiting arnd 5weeks for a reply, i rang and was told the referral was reviewed and The doctor didn't feel she qualified for an apnt.
We then spent money and got her ASD Asessment done elsewhere and she was diagnosed Level 2 ASD. We went back to our GP and told him about Educare and he said now we have the assessment, it would make all the difference in getting an apnt. It made NO difference! The GP then re-referred us to Educare Dr Mathews and again we were told their books were closed! Why advertise a service at all when you continually reject clients. My daughter desperately needs help with her Autism in all areas, Psychiatry, OT and dietition. This is a terrible world we live in when you have a referral, an assessment, private healthcare but you continually get told. Sorry, we can't help you!
Perhaps Educare should let all the GP's know that they arent taking new clients and then we can stop wasting our time and theirs.

I have used Educare services for 7 years. In particular, I have been supported by Dr. Heather Stuart with two of my children and their diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Heather has provided exceptional support in sourcing Early Intervention, NDIS funding, therapies and educational assistance for our children. With this assistance, we have been able to help our sons improve their social and emotional difficulties and have seen great results from her suggestions.

Excellent customer service. Efficient and courteous. In my experience have always been very helpful and I feel like nothing is too much trouble for them. Thank you Educare! That's part of the reason why we come back.
