Easy Timber Flooring

Peter was so nice until the time when the installation has taken place & we requested for a refund for unused flooring (his installer took out laminates out of the box & threw the box) and Peter told us that he can’t accept the return as there is no box. Well, we didn’t open & throw the box. Beware when he is calculating extra 5% on top of the measured flooring size & even when the actual size is exact with no extra area, he will still charge you for the 5% and he called it “industry standard” and refuse any refund. I’ve installed laminates before & other companies only charge material & labour when they do the extra work.

Peter was always pleasant to deal with and pricing and service was great. Very happy with our new laminate.

We had a good experience up until selecting and paying for the flooring of our liking. Peter is a really nice guy but unfortunately only the sales person who does not go out to the jobs to check on the quality of his installers. Firstly the installers did not measure properly the first time they came and therefore the quote suddenly increased after they realised that they didn't bring enough material. At this point I was already sceptical whether they would do a good job and I should not be mistaken. His installers cut out the bits around the door edges sloppy and used a filler in a totally different color to the laminate. After I questioned it they at least used a different color and patched it up as good as possible.
However, it didn't stop there, his installers chucked all the cut off bits into the garden bin and I got a complained from strata because of this. You would assume that they would take their rubbish with them would you? Lastly what really annoys me now, I realised that our floor is not straight and you can really feel it walking over it. At no point anyone mentioned that the floor may need some leveling and now my couch legs lift of from the floor. Overall I am quite disappointed with the overall experience and I would not recommend getting the flooring installed from Easy Timber Flooring. The sales process is ok but then it stops there.

Peter made my experience with organising the floorboards for my home so easy and stress free for me. I am based in Victoria and it was still so much easier to arrange flooring from Easy Timber Flooring interstate than it was to deal with companies in Victoria, who would make the whole process difficult, complicated and confusing.
Peter was knowledgable on the product I was interested in, posted me samples, sent me photos to help with my decision regarding colours and trims, answered all my endless questions patiently, and was always prompt with everything he arranged for me, from quotes to invoices to delivery of the product.and even with follow up to ensure everything was received as expected.

Do not ever use Easy Timber Flooring, especially if a problem occurs. It has been more than 4 months since I advise Peter of a problem with the flooring he installed in my rental property, and I still have not had any resolution. Peter rarely answers my calls, and when he does, he keeps giving me the same story, "I need to wait for a reply from the Berry Alloc regional manager". Worst customer service I have ever come across. I have even contacted Berry Alloc directly to advise them of the conduct of their "trusted" dealer.
