Dymocks Sydney reviews
35The Shop assistance there for fountain pens are very helpful, the only downside is, it's not cheap but I guess you get what you pay for.
Fantastic to see a bricks and mortar book store still going in the Kwindle age when Bezos is taking over the world. Huge huge selection and some classic books/specials you just won't get online. Amazingly knowledgeable staff that helped me pick a book for my wife when I just mentioned Two titles she read. Long may the store last
Went upstairs to the cafe on a busy Easter Monday. Had to wait for a table, but not for too long. Easy efficient service. Really nice food. Overall, had a pleasant lunch
Great store, massive selection of books and gifts. Easy navigation and great value. A book shop like they should all be, wonderful.
Poor service for your staff (one woman in particular) on the floor, not professional or friendly. Found a book myself after the staff member told me you didn't stock it.
Some of the cashiers can be lovely - floor staff need more training.
It's a nice bookstore with 3 levels and many subjects. It has a large stationery section. It also has a children's section on the lower floor with a selection of educational books also. There aren't any computer books as far as I could see. Upstairs has a large history section.
Biggest dymocks I've ever been in, didn't have all the books I was looking for but you can probably quite easily find anything you want here so long as it's reasonably mainstream
Our mecca wheb in Sydney. One can spend a whole day there. Make sure you go up to the top floor and spend some time in tge cafe
Favourite bookstore in Sydney! Such a huge range here. I could spend the whole day here. The prices may be a little more expensive than what you can find online however there's nothing more better than being able to hold and browse through the book itself. Service is always friendly and helpful.
The layout is really very good, not just 20 new release books, but top 100 as rated by customers and then award winning books and literature. Made it easy.
Love a good cafe in a book store.
It's great to be able to stop in hear for a break when shopping.
It can be a little noisy, but is pretty quiet compared to the alternatives.
Cafe Staff were friendly and helpful, as are the bookstore staff in my experience.
Pleasant atmosphere with a large collection of books to choose from and friendly staff who helped me with titles I was looking for. I am a long term repeat customer and I am definitely going there again. I would recommend this place.
Awesome bookstore with a huge variety - they have good aircon and chairs inside so if you're not an avid book lover you've got somewhere to go whilst waiting for your misso
Not often do you find a large bookstore, this one however is just that. Consisting of 3 floors there's no doubt you'll find a book that you'll love.
Can dymocks remember to be consistent in adding my points to my book purchases? ! Esp since last time I was in store I spent over $250 on various books! This has happened on too many shop visits so my points should be a great deal higher! Its bad practice to reward regular loyal customers with book reward points an fail to include them at checkout point when customers handing over hard earned cash for purchaseOh my oh my, can the cashiers just please add my points to my name. I buy lots of books=Some points. This is SIMPLES! Please ensure staff are not overbearing when loyal customers are browsing before buying expensive books! A lot better policing of 'social distancing rules' needs to be enforced! Lets stay safe
