Absolutely Terrific surgeon. Dr Sergides was able to operate on my spine within a week of my initial consultation. Six weeks later, i'm feeling better then ever and i'm able to go back to regular activities. Couldn't be happier!

Dr Sergides operates on my wife’s spine. He went above and beyond to ensure my wife knew what was involved, was cared for and her fears understood and respected. On the operation day, he sat with her to ally her fears. And the results were everything we could hope for.

I was referred to Dr Sergides by my GP due to my ongoign back issues in L4/L5. The first consultation was very thorough and i instantly had a great feeling about Dr Sergides due to his natural ability to make you feel you are in good hands.
His recommendation was to go for a microdiscectomy as conservative treatment was not working for me over the past 5 weeks. My pain was so severe that i could not stand or sit for longer than 5 minutes.

We arranged a day for my surgery at the North Shore Private which had been a success. However, i reherniated shortly thereafter which was purely bad luck as recurrence remains a significant risk. That friday i was in absolute agony and at 9pm i called Dr Sergides and he went above and beyond to arrange things with the hospital, MRi and following that surgery on saturday. This was not expected and i could not thank him enough.
I am now pain free (touch wood - day 4 after surgery). Dr Sergides cares a lot about his patients and i highly rate him.

What can I say about this wonderful surgeon, that others haven't already said. 8 weeks of pain suddenly vanished thanks to the hands of this doctor. He does really care for his patients, and I can't be happier to heap praise on him. All the best Dr. Yanni.

Lifesaver! Miracle worker! Best surgeon! These are just a few words that describe Dr Yanni Segedis. I lived with scaitica for 12 months due to a herniated disc. Life was such a struggle during this time. Yanni was the second surgeon I consulted and he was definitely the right choice. He was so understanding, reassuring and explained everything so well.
After having the microdiscectomy surgery, the leg pain instantly disappeared. The only thing I regret was not having it done sooner.

Dr Yanni is by far the best surgeon I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with. The entire time he has been contactable, he has responded quickly to emails after my surgery. I have had multiple groin surgeries and knee operations. As well as multiple medical difficulties with illness and sickness where surgeons have had to intervene and no one has been more human and more understanding that dr Yanni!
Very impressive and very well spoken. Walked me through the entire operation and worked really well with the insurance company!

i had been struggling with major back and leg pain for 18 months before contacting Yanni Sergides @ Sydney spine surgeon.i had a disc legion at L5-S1 and L4-L5 i was on an concoction of pain killers and attending physo and pain Dr's with little to no relief.
Yanni preformed a spine fusion on the L5-S1 and a disc replacement on the L5-L4.
Everything from Yanni, the staff at reception and at the RNS hospital was fantastic! I was up walking the next day and now almost 3 months on im off all pain killers and feeling great and would recommend Dr Yanni to anyone.
