Super busy with no customers, don't expect service, might as well buy online. 6+ staff on showroom floor too busy to help customers. Had to pull someone aside for help, even then they were too busy to show me products. Showed up 3rd July 2020. From what I saw they were super expensive. Expensive shop for below par service. Just 1 other customer in the shop but all the staff were busy occupied talking to each other. FWIW found similar product at bunnings they were selling for $95 for $28.95 at bunnings.

I visited a number of carpet stores as I had a big job with a special request. Jackie was phenomenally helpful, very knowledgeable about products and installation but more than that she went way above and beyond in order to find a setup that would suit my needs. She even personally delivered a sample to my house in her own time to save me an extra trip to the store. The installation was quite tricky and I needed to contact Doyle's again to get a detail right; I had already paid the bill in full but they were just as helpful as before which to me is a true sign that this is a trustworthy business. I don't often leave reviews but this was a exceptionally good experience. Thank you so much Jackie, you really know your stuff and you could not have been more helpful.

A very disappointing experience which resulted in an installation issue remaining unresolved after more than 4 weeks. After the installation of our laminate floors we noticed that the floors started to lift in three places. After informing Carpet Court we were assured that the issue will be resolved. The original installer was engaged to fix the issue - after several no shows and late arrivals they attended to 2/3 of the problem and were unable to fix the final issue. Installer tried to blame the lifting of the floor on an unrelated event which resulted in Carpet Court measuring boards to determine the cause. Cause was determined (by Carpet Court) to be an installation issue. After another week of back and forth with Carpet Court a different installer was engaged. At this stage, we were fast running out of time before the apartment was to be tenanted by a renter. The latest installer identified the problem (scotia installed incorrectly) and promised a quick fix the next day. The following day came and went with no one showing up or bothering to call us. Carpet Court’s current position is that they did their best but are unable to assist because further access will need to be arranged. After more than a month and half-dozen different people attending our premises (sometimes on time; often not, with several last minute cancellations) we have concluded That Carpet Court is unable to fix the issue. Amazingly, not because they seemingly don’t want to (they are keen to help) but because they are unable to arrange an experienced installer to attend at an agreed time and actually do the work.

Dozens of hours wasted on phone calls and we are left with a disappointing result.

I would 100% recommend Doyles Carpet Court at Five Dock.

We were renovating our unit & installing new floor boards; James Hinde was so helpful & easy to deal with. He went out of his way to prioritize for us when we needed to get some work done quickly.

I didn't get the name of the young man who worked on our floor, but he was fantastic. My husband (who is a carpenter) observed his work and said he did an excellent job! We will definitely use them again for other flooring projects.

Friendly but just wanted to buy some underlay “sorry I can’t help you today”. Thought it would have been the simplest sale ever.

I would NOT recommend Doyles Carpet Court to anyone! Not even my family or friends. Basically went in there to purchase 1) Vinyl floor planks, for foyer, hallway, kitchen and dining 2) Carpet for 2 bedrooms and 3) Plantation Shutters for 4 window; total job was just over $10,000. They didn't want the job. Didn't even bother to come to the measure and quote. Passed it onto his boss Darrell, who passed it onto Jordan - didn't bother telling us the person to come and measure and quote would be different. Jordan went out of his way to measure for us during his own personal time - had his girlfriend in the vehicle while he went to measure up. James Hinde never showed up! I went to the showroom twice too! Travelled all the way from Chippendale to Five Dock. What a waste of time and petrol. I did have excellent customer service in the showroom with Jackie (?) though but was given to James Hinde to 'look after' us. I had to follow up with James to get a quote. 2 weeks passed and still no quote? !? ! Geeze, if I owned that Carpet Court franchise and knew how slack my employees were to not even follow up/chase up $10K in business, I would have fired James. DO NOT GO HERE! Obviously they have seen their ratings plummet and asked customers with positive experience to reply. I was just going through my drawers to clean up paperwork and found his business card and remembered the poor service (lack-there-of!), I got in December 2018 and want to warn people. DO NOT GO HERE! So many great flooring centres to visit and spend your money on!

Lizzy and the team have been very helpful and have gone that extra mile to ensure our requirements were met. We have used Doyles numerous times over the years and will continue to do so. Solid and customer focussed

We have been dealing with Doyle's Carpet Court Five Dock for at least 25years and Darryl Doyle and his team have never let us down.in our latest dealings Lizzie Christano has been an absolute trooper in getting our carpets laid at short notice. We've invested in carpets, blinds and lino and have had excellent choice and services in all matters. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

We've shopped at Five Dock 3 times now. This time we had the pleasure of Lizzy who helped us. Lizzy was knowledgeable and so helpful.the fitters were great too, they did a wonderful job in no time! `thanks guys

Liz and the team were outstanding. We chose our carpet, it was measured promptly, installed on a date that suited us and was all finished by morning tea. H

Just watch for this quoting trick.

1st quote was for $3645. When I questioned the quote as being on the high side it was revised by Lizzy, saying 5m could be taken off the cost of the quote. This meant a revised quote was sent for $3175 ($470 less).

What I did not notice at the time is the cost of installation had been added into a footnote in the 2nd quote within the job description. Cost of installation? $470. This made the cost of both quotes EXACTLY the same. Had to pay out the $470 in cash when the installers turned up.

Kicked myself for not picking it up. Signed quote / only picked it up once it was too late.

Would highly recommend Doyle's Carpet Court. We bought a lovely vinyl for our kitchen floor and had it installed by their installer Craig. All went very smoothly and the finished product looks fantastic. From first walking in the store to the finals touches I am one happy customer!

Very friendly and welcoming staff, with a huge range of products and an equally huge knowledge of stock. Darrell Doyle is such a helpful friendly guy, with no BS that you tend to get from others.

Doyle’s Carpet Court recarpeted some of the rooms in my house, having done the same 20 years ago. The showroom had a clear system of prices, carpet types and samples. This made it very easy to choose. Lizzy kept us informed throughout the process. The job was started and completed quickly and efficiently.

We have just had our house carpeted and the staff were very friendly at Carpet Court Fivedock. The installation was done on time and the carpet installer was fantastic. I would highly recommend these guys to my family and friends. Lizzy who is in the showroom was very helpful when choosing the carpet and Darrel was also wonderful. He went through all the different types of flooring before we made our final decision. We will definitely see you again. Thankyou guys for all your help!

Just had my carpet installed from Doyle's i have never met such friendly staff, the installer did a magnificent job, very professional and was on time, Lizzy in the showroom did such a great job along with Anna and of course Darrell Doyle. Would highly recommend Doyle's Carpet Court to all my friends and family.
