Dorrigo Rainforest Centre reviews
52 My family loved it, we were very lucky the weather turned out to be great even the weather forecast said raining, 2 dollar coins donation is recommended up on entrance, we did not complete the 6.6km walk but if you are a beginner in walking, recommending a 400m walk
Cafe on the top also provides refreshments and breakfast if you require.
I enjoyed an ice chocolate and watched a bird documentary in the digital showroom next to the gift shop.
Great view and good walk. Part of the walk was closed so it was a good 2hr home down to the 2 Falls and back. Beatiful rainforest walk.
Absolutely spectacular. Beautifully maintained with well informed guides. Don't miss if you're in the area
This is the most beautiful rainforest. I was disappointed to see the big bird sculpture taking away from the stunning natural beauty of this rainforest.
Highly recommend visiting if you're visiting or stopping by Dorrigo. Beautiful lookouts, walking tracks, cafe, and gift store.
A delightful place to visit, and a beautiful sky walk at tree tops level to take in the impressive forest views. We enjoyed just pausing to li There are some longer ten to the birds in the tree canopy and to watch an eagle float on the air currents at a distance.
The centre includes an interesting shop with info, books, gifts, artworks and crafts, a café, a short nature film and interactive displays about the local wildlife and forests. There is a picnic area and some shady (but steep) walks of varying lengths too, which look good but we didn’t explore them today. Entry is by gold coin donation, which can be taken electronically also. Very good value for a beautiful place to visit with such good amenities.
Water falls, water falls & more water falls …
Yesterday we visited 5 or 6 gorgeous locations with beautiful rainforest walks & beautiful falls.
Bellingen & Dorrigo sure has fresh air, green fields, incredible energy & gorgeous falls.
So worth checking out next time you are in Coffs Harbour.
More floating down a creek on the beach chillax ing today & now excited to be at a BBL cricket game 6 ers vs Strikers …
The atmosphere here at Coffs is electric.
So great they bring the excitement of the cricket to Regional towns.
Loving our holiday.
Space most certainly is where the magic is.
The rainforest walk is a must do! A 6.5Km walk, paved and accessible to all. No excuse for not doing and taking this walk!
Great walks in the rainforest. Sadly the waterfalls aren't great and there's no access to a waterfall to swim. Beautiful birdsong and forest scenery. High walkways for photos.
Must do on waterfall way. It’s about 1 hour drive from Coffs harbour. Don’t drive back via Cascade, it’s gravel road and very rough roads.
Beautiful, well maintained park and visitor center. Overlook is elevated above the trees and has a magnificent view of the valley all the way to the ocean on a clear day. I hiked the 6 km loop trail. Well worth it!
Nature at its best, well worth the exploring and understanding what the rainforest area is all about.
Outstanding - so proud to have this on our doorstep.
Fab food, great service all round - by National Parks and volunteers - TOPS - don’t miss it
Felt a little rushed because we were visiting after 4pm and shop closing. Skywalk was easy walk and worth a look
We had a fantastic time with family. Great walks and maps provided by the centre. Overal very positive experience.
I love this place! The rainforest centre is excellent, the rainforest walk is beautiful and the canopy cafe is a great spot to recuperate with delicious food and friendly service. It's not my first visit and certainly won't be my last visit! Well do e all those involved
A beautiful, peaceful place for a rainforest walk. Allow a couple of hours to do a circuit and highly recommended if you are in the area.
Great start to the lovely rainforest. Gift shop and info centre has lots to offer. The cafe has nice food which is welcome after a walk.
Many walks start here. They need to have wifi otherwise with poor mobile reception people can’t really sign in. We walked the short Lyrebird link track and also went to the must-see sky walk. It was really nice to breath in the fresh rainforest air and walk the tracks.
Very helpful staff in the info centre. We did the Wonga Walk and it was beautiful. Highly recommended
