Devine Real Estate Strathfield

I have been renting a property managed by Devine Real Estate for 7 years. Originally the lease was with Haus in Strathfield but they were shut down and the lease transferred to Devine Real Estate. I'm so glad that occurred as the team at Devine Real Estate have been excellent.

Thomas has been a delight to work with and escalates any issues as required, always providing feedback and updates. He is an excellent member of the Devine team and definitely goes above and beyond, what you really want from your property manager.

One special thing to note, during the start of the pandemic it was an uncertain time and I made a fairly reasonable request to lower the weekly rent price. The request.was met without any hesitation and this made for a less stressful outlook on the pandemic with uncertainty surrounding jobs and wages.

I would definitely choose Devine Real Estate in the future when choosing another property to lease, and you should too.

Very disappointing. As a prospective tenant, they are extremely pushy and aggressive, and do very little to provide actual customer service.

They make it extremely clear from the get go that you are nothing but a rent battery, only allowing for direct debit of rent from the account.

Because of this “policy”, they also asked for 18 days rent in advance to line up with THEIR schedule.

Steve is an absolute legend, brilliant agent and super engaging. Hope he gets a position at a better company

If you are a landlord please DO NOT trust Devine to manage your rental property. Devine failed to do regular inspections, and as a result the tenants trashed the place and our property has incurred substantial damage (totalling around 30K). Devine has failed to respond to our emails and phone calls querying how this damage occurred without us being alerted. Please find a more reputable real estate agent to manage your property.

This is my second investment property is looked after by Divine. I had very positive experience with Divine for my first investment property. I didn't hesitate to finding Jennie again to look after my second investment property. Jennie is so efficient and my property manager Jasmine is so responsive and responsible as well. I am so lucky to find Divine because their staff has such a high work ethics. If you have investment property and looking for a responsible company to look after your place. Please give Divine a go because they are the best agent around strathfield area from my experience.

Incredibly non-responsive and unprofessional, made approximately 10 attempts (phone calls, voice messages, sms's) over the course of a week attempting to contact Melody Tinapay (Concepcian) without success which was extremely frustrating,
I also spoke to reception who was equally unhelpful and had absolutely no idea about the property in question.

Its appalling to think this is the service they provide to landlords who entrust Devine to lease out their properties and to the prospective tenants who wish to lease them.

I'd rate them 0/5 if I could, Landlords take your business elsewhere!

When we moving out, the place was professionally cleaned, the agent came and checked it and listed several items for the cleaner come back to attend. After the cleaner re-attended those items, the agent stated "they overlooked last time" and asked for more items which was not even relevant to be cleaned, such as footprints on the carpet, specially it was 7 days later since the cleaner's re-attendance, and during this 7 days they had several inspections.

Devine ended up refusing us to re-attend and insisted on charging us the full cleaning fee even though we have paid our cleaner and did everything they asked for.

When in the NCAT hearing, the agent submitted a medical certificate the last minute so the hearing was adjourned. I had to take a day off from work for this.

It happened in 2013 or 14 which I still remember and it still makes me upset.

I do see several 1 star ratings with similar experience as I had, I do not believe in their 5 star ratings.

The agent is invited to respond to show their side of storey.

It was a pleasure dealing with an organization that valued you beyond the signing of the lease.

Leased out my property through Devine Real Estate. Very responsive, professional, and moved fast. Dealt with Jennie and she was great, the real MVP.

Dealt with Jennie Cho as a first time investor and the professionalism, time, knowledge that Jennie brought along with the systems that Devine has in place made them a standout. I had met with 6 real estate agents in the area to find the right one and Jennie at Devine really outshone the competition. The service has been great so far and can't be faulted.

Our experience with Devine Real Estate Strathfield was haphazard and confusing. We flagged many items prior to moving in that needed to be fixed or addressed such as awful water damage and mould behind the sink that were never looked into. When they needed something we were constantly hassled however, when I tried to flag things such as this we never heard from them.

As a tenant, our property manager kept changing over the course of our tenancy without any notification. We left the property cleaner than we received it, however we were charged $90 for not properly cleaning two shower screens (they were streaky apparently) and some other minor fixes. We paid for pest control and were told by one of our many different property managers that it is the landlord's responsibility however this was contested by another property manager.

When holding open homes at our rental property we often found our place unlocked or not locked up properly multiple times. They even organised an open home the weekend we were moving out despite us flagging that we have movers coming in and it would go against the health guidelines the government had set.

Overall, our experience was disjointed and frustrating. We were exemplary tenants that left a property in pristine condition but were treated like people that had left the place in a dump. If you are a landlord this company might be great to you but our experience as tenants was terrible.

The best real estate agency we've dealt with. Incredibly professional, responsive and fair. Wish every agency was as easy to deal with as a renter.

My investment property has been managed by Amy Keane of Devine R/E Strathfield for a couple of years now and the benefits of her managements comparing to the little management cost made me feel a true bargain.

Recently Amy responded to a complaint from my old tenants for some widespread moulds in my unit due to some water leaks from the bathroom.

Through her thorough investigations and skilful negotiations she was able to identify the critical fact that the leaks were actually from the unit above and as a result, not only had I saved thousands of repair cost but also got covered for all the repairs by the strata and even the paints! And with Amy's helps, I am also successful in claiming compensations for the losses of rents through my insurer.

During the months long ordeal, she was always there whenever there was a call for inspection, quotation and repair to ensure my unit was properly cared, once she even drove all the way there to help me got into the unit when my key was misfit for my insurer's inspection for which I had to attend personally.

In addition to that, she had followed up with numerous emails and calls to the strata manager and various contractors to chase the quotes and strata approvals which were the most stressful and time consuming part and could easily take months or even rejections without Amy's interventions.

She's always responsive and approachable. If not because of her efforts, experience and strong senses of responsibilities, my damages would have been unbearable and my work and life would have been savaged. Amy's services are certainly under-priced and deserved undisputed recommendations!

While they may come across very professional and promise you great rental income, they somehow lack the ability to lock up after themselves and left my apartment completely unlocked after inspections, not just once, but twice. And after barely apologising for this now they are expecting me to pay "advertising fees" after changing to an agent who knows how to lock a door. As if I am going to pay those fees, they basically just advertised to people an unlocked apartment for all to enter. What if I had something stolen, what then?
Terrible service.
If you value your property and want it kept safe, look elsewhere.
