Culburra Bowling Club

What a shame this night was…. …. We waited over 2 hours for our dinner after playing lawn bowls for 1 hour (we had a ball) the food was absolutely terrible. Apart from the fact they were out of everything we wanted when we ordered at the counter and we had to change it all last minute, we waited 2 hours for food and it was AWEFUL! Terrible. If it’s the Christmas period you really need to plan better for this guys. What a disaster!

Food is great & so is the atmosphere but this club always fails to prepare themselves at the end of the year, it’s probably their busiest time of the year for them. If you want a quick meal, i highly recommend probably eating at home and then coming for drinks later.

8 ppl dined, all mains came at different times, fish was last out. Asked for mash with meals, was not told when ordering mash not available.
Parmi was good size and nice.

Wow, great friendly staff, amazing meal. Excellent services, clean bathrooms. Amazing play area for kids. Not just one play area. Just needs lights on for kids to play at night and a under cover to play in the rain. Love the out door music, well worth spending family time there.

But needs to have more outdoor heaters in at night on.

The best restaurant for a family dinner. We had an early dinner with our two toddlers and we were so impressed with the bowling club. Beautiful club, with multiple restaurants to choose from and so many different areas to dine in. We chose to enjoy pizzas outside next to the huge playground which the kids loved, there’s also a bowling green for the kids to run around on. Such a fun evening. Thank you.

Food is great and delicious. However long wait time to order your food. Making the food was quick.

Had lunch here. Went for the Pizza option from Prince Eddies. Cannot recall having better pizzas. Choices were Meat Lovers and Chicken & Mushroom. Toppings and cheese were both in plentiful supply. The Pizza size would serve 2 so we had plenty uneaten, but they happily provided a box to take leftovers home, which were just as yummy reheated

We visited the bistro for dinner for the first time since their major renovation. The dining area has had an upgrade and it looks quite good. There is now an extra bar in the middle of the seating which means you don't need to walk all the way to the gaming area to get a drink. The food is predictable club fare with an extensive Chinese menu.

Fantastic venue. Great staff, great food and exceptionally well set up facilities. There's something here for everyone.

Good for families given large indoor and outdoor seating areas and play areas. Food is reasonable. Friendly staff at entry.

I work all over Australia, and like bowls clubs, generally a safe bet, but waited 2 hrs for the worst Thai beef salad I've ever had, couldn't eat it, absolutely disgraceful

Great local Bowling Club. The regular trivia nights are great, with seafood and meat raffles that bring a great turnout

Waited over an hour, not a problem on a Saturday night especially as we were notified beforehand. They also refused to serve entrees separately. Ok, it's pretty busy so yeah fair enough.
Got dinner, dry chewy steak with maybe a dozen chips on the side and a salad. Hmmmm.has to be the worst feed I have had in months.

Lucky they have no competition in town, otherwise they would be a lot quieter!

Jesse had the most the amazing hospitality and chased down a courtesy bus for us to make sure we got a bus on time. He was very nice and explained that they’re very busy during this holiday period but would accomodate us anyway. Would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Jesse!

The bowlo has been renovated and it's great especially the restaurant. The food is the best - sooo good. The waiter/ess are lovely - meals are bought to the table. Huge improvement. We went three nights in a row for dinner. Thank you everyone.
PS if you wish to complain about the food (not me, another reviewer) don't eat it all then whinge - take it back straight away.

It's lucky the only club in town is a good one. They don't have to put in an effort, but they definitely do.

Had great time nice food, very lively place.we had banquet serving size is good and it's like 4 course meal. Enjoyed the experience.
