Cowra Visitor Information Centre reviews
48Helpful staff, but make sure you have "the breakout experience". It is definitely worth the visit and informs you of some of our history. But make sure you visit the gardens, the cemetary and the camp site.
The Roses at the visitor centre are fantastic, hundreds of different ones. The holigram information presentation is worth seeing. Maccas is next door and a coffee shop at the centre
It was awesome, to watch the video at the centre then go to the gardens followed by the cemetery.forgive but don't forget is the only way to not make the same mistakes
A must to go to and find out all there is to do in Cowra and there is plenty, very Friendly Staff and lovely Rose Garden out Front.
Very organised in here. There is the looped video hologram that tells the story of the Cowra POW camp. Around the corner is the historical group if you are seeking family research, which we were. They had plenty of information and were very helpful.
Great place lots of information and a theatre room to see the history of Cowra and little gifts to buy.
Incredible bugers and service from a delightful happy young team, very popular road stop for travellers.
Great place to get all the information you will need on attraction in Cowra. The rose garden is worth a look.
The movie is a must to see at the centre before you visit any of the Cowra Breakout sites. The Rose Garden is amazing especially that there are 880 roses in the garden
Must visit the hologram show. Very interesting and informative and so much fun for adults and kids.
Great little place. The POW hologram talk was fantastic. Plus all the local products for sale was great.
When you visit Cowra take the time to see the hologram in the information centre for a story on the history of the POW camp
Good information about the area and so readily available by the staff. Hologram was worth the time it takes. A credit to Cowra.
A must visit destination, informative staff, great viewing of the 1944 P. O. W Japenese escape, some gifts available, great coffee shop next door, the Rose Garden out front is a must see, visited late October, all flowers in bloom, great weather, recomended.
Where the locals park like they have a mental condition. Be careful parking here, your car might leave with a few bumps or scratches
A great place for information on the area.the presentation and display on the cowra breakout is worth the trip by itself.wonderful staff
Costa a beautiful breathtaking town. The visitor centre is very informative and Mr Lawrence was very kind and helpful in guiding the directions of the site worthy views and was very descriptive. Excellent I’d say
