Commonwealth Bank reviews
43Avoid this bank like the plague. Staff that work here are friendly and kindly explained that the huge que at 309 George St Sydney is due to a lack of computers. They have 6 spots for tellers and only 3 computers. They have 4 staff at the door asking if you need help. What is head office thinking? Bring back more computers to cater for the customers. Hopefully someone from head office responds to this and it isnt forwarded to the Branch Manager!
The man greeting customers upon entrance has very poor customer service. He has an attitude and seems to rush people. He not only rushed me but also rushed the customers in front of me and displayed zero patience with them. Visited October 28th. Please train your staff on better customer service.
The worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. A bunch of reps just standing around doing nothing while there are 4 people waiting. Extremely unprofessional.
Terrible customer service, not attentive to customer needs, seemingly disinterested. I've worked nearby the branch for several months and had a great rapport with their former branch manager, Kyse, whom was always sincere and provided expert knowledge and advice to suit my specific needs. I had previously always had positive experiences, however having revisited the branch today, I can see that there is a lack of care and a level of disorganisation I wouldn't associate with a leading bank. I would have rated this branch 5 stars after my dealings with their previous branch manager, however after my recent experience I intend to never go back.
Under staff only 2 tellers working and 5 on the floor doing nothing and the customers line will reach out to the stree.unbelievable
For a morning rush they have two people working on a teller and 30+ people waiting in line. What great customer service
If you had a simple sign on the door or in the bank stating “NO PHOTOGRAPHS” then we wouldn’t have been embarrassed by the security guard yelling at us in front of other customers. Pathetic customer service Commonwealth Bank, pathetic.
A very disappointed business customer.
Waited only a minimal time to get 2 large tasks done here. Thank you to Mr. Salvador and Ellie here. Ellie timed my tasks here so that I wasn't waiting long at all to see a specialist.
Lauren was extremely helpful and quick to solve our requests. Commbank customer service is next level.
Great service today. Enter the bank and got welcomed by a smiling assistant. Listened to my query and offered to find out if they could help. They did not, BUT another lady came out to explain why couldn’t help and provide guilines to resolve issue in another stablishemnt, she included alternatives and contact details. These two young ladies know what Customer Service is all about, they are both a credit to a bank that needs a lot of PR these days. Well done ladies.
Excellent service.staff is very friendly and
Helpful. If you ever get stuck on the telephone banking then this is the place to be.
Every minor non transaction enquiry involves having to wait for a “specialist”. I have waited in some cases for over one hour to open an account. Average is about 30 minute waits. They clearly need double the staff for the traffic in the branch or they need to allow certain operations to be made available online.
Very delayed service. Lots of waiting time and works like a charity organisation that is understaffed.
Very bad service I wait nearly 20 minute to serve on guy has connection with that lady at front and she push his appointment and told me he has appointment very bad but my problem I has bussiness account if I want change back lot hazel I advice every one need open account not with that banck
Like all CBA branches, they never pick up the phone and never return calls when a message is left
The self service deposit machine is absolutely disgusting. My hands are left sticky and dirty after using this filthy, dirty, unkept machine.
What’s the fuss about statement. If you log on netbank, u can print/order/view statements including closed accounts. There are even now an option on netbank to generate an official statement FOR A CUSTOMISED PERIOD OF TIME
Went there 4 times. For three times in a period of 3-4months I was provided with an estimate of 45-60min waiting time, during peak hours. That indicated they are understaffed or do not manage customer properly. Staff was a bit arrogant and not knowledgeable. For this reason I would give a 0 STAR.
My last experience was positive. I talked to Chanel and she was very active (managing customers in a NOT lazy way) and she was also knowledgeable. She promptly informed me if certain transactions would have fees and what the amount was. She has been efficient, thinking about my options (moving from paper to online statements) and talking to customers at the same time to make them feeling comfortable. This was Efficient, Effective, and a Pleasant. For this reason I would give a 5 STAR.
Can you please provide more tellers at peak period and please stop with the boring music, invest in proper surround speakers and play some lounge music which is non offensive and neutral thank you
This branch is extremely unresponsive to calls and emails. So in future if you have any plans to relocate somewhere outside Australia, consider other branches
