Vindictive, arrogant strata managers devoid of common sense or empathy. We booked a council cleanup for some items and left them in the courtyard with a note explaining the date of the council cleanup and that we would move them to the kerb the night before the cleanup was scheduled (since by-laws prohibit us from leaving them on the kerb earlier than this). This left strata members the option to contact us in the event of any issue. Instead, Clisdells insisted that we remove these items to the kerb immediately, even though this would have been illegal. They did not bother to read our note or engage with us, instead going directly to our real estate agent and causing us significant stress during our move. Since we are law-abiding folks we rented a van and removed the items. (We will thus need to rent the van again in two weeks time to put the items back on the kerb prior to council cleanup!) Overall I do not recommend this company at all. One self-important strata member also would not let me lock up my bike in the common courtyard during our tenancy, despite there being no other safe place to keep it. Consequently my bike was stolen on the morning of my wedding. Luckily I am blessed with important loving relationships in my life that are far more meaningful than material possessions! I can only feel pity for the sad strata folks who seem to take pleasure in making poor tenants' lives miserable.

Uncommunicative until they want money inappropriately.
Toxic attitude. Supportive of illegal dumping over helping with council cleanup. Power obsessed. Out to get you. Apathetic.

Though they responded promptly to requests for repairs of the hot water system, puzzling as to why it frequently shut/broke down every 5-6 months.

Horrible strata company doing dodgy dealings. Avoid at all costs! They never respond to us and take more money than they are meant to from the vulnerable elderly.

Previously a dedicated Strata Manager with reasonable results. Now days a different manager each
time you make contact
No follow up. Zero communication. No help desk. No action. Still real quick at taking strata fees. Plan is to network owners corporation and dump Clisdells

Clisdels is not responsive to them. I would not recommend them, This includes accounts they send to the wrong address. I have asked them to update the postal address and they have ignored me

Stay clear of Clisdells if you can! The absolute worse, not the first clue of how to provide customer service. They cannot be trusted for a second. All they care about is getting their fee's out of the owners! We feel we are just over charged with administration fees for no actual worthwhile management of the property. Evangeline Tighe is the worst strata manager we as a strata committee have had the misfortune to deal with ever. She is nothing but egotistical and dismissive of owners. Basically, she does not want to communicate, just wants to dictate her terms upon others. We can't work out where and how she obtained her qualifications to be able to call herself a certified strata manager. All that she is achieving is to turn the strata committee against her and Clisdells as a whole. Good luck if she and they think we will even consider renewing the contract with them when it is next up for resigning. Minus 5 star rating, only added one star as had no choice.

I have used Clisdell's Strata Management for many years on two properties and it's clear that the company is only as good as its employees. Tom Sinn exceeds all previous expectations. He is receptive, takes notes, is knowledgeable and very prompt with every action required for our block. H just doesn't miss a beat.

Very pleased to be working with Georgia and Zoe, they form a strong team We feel very confident that if a strata issue arises we will be provided with relevant, workable advice in a timely fashion. This has been particularly true through the back half of COVID and the recent incredibly bad (& wet) weather. Thank you for your ongoing assistance, our property runs well (& better) as a result of your efforts

Shiobhan is a superstar! She replies promptly even though she is only part time. She is very knowledgeable and always so helpful for to elderly mother who owns a unit she manages.

I lived and owned in a strata building managed by Clisdells for 9 years. Nothing but incompetent, lazy and downright rude behaviour for this entire time. They don't seem to have any knowledge of legislation.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with them over the past 5 years, absolute abomination of a business. Would not trust what they say on the phone and I would suggest that you get everything in writing.

Clean up your act.

Wow the negative reviews are all so eerily similar, they mirror my experience and many of the positive reviews only have 1 or 2 reviews, that's a red flag for a fake positive.

CEO Douglas Armstrong used false pretenses to ignore a bullying complaint, which in itself is bullying. I would not trust Clisdell's - a snake only sheds its skin to become a bigger snake.

We're off to NCAT soon to hold Clisdell's to account - I'll keep you posted.

Melinda Kohler and her assistant at rockdale do a amazing job when needed, for my strata unit block by email or telephone they do great job and I cant say anything bad about them

Milica is fantastic. Highly recommend her, i have provided numerous referrals to her as a manager. She doesn't fuff around, she gets to the point and resolves issues instead of wasting everyones time on the unnecessary detail.

Looking at the previous reviews, I feel like it all depends on the strata manager that you get. The strata manager I have to deal with, I feel like they either do not like their job or they wake up grumpy everyday. They always give off a sense of entitlement like they run the place. You always have to chase up queries multiple times before they would even consider responding. I found that their own assistant are a lot more friendly and helpful than they are themselves. Very disappointing experience compared to other strata managers I have dealt with in the past, so much so that I am always hesitant to contact them unless I really have to. Customer service is obviously not their best quality which sadly is needed in this industry.
