Climbing Anchors Alexandria

One of the best places to find your bouldering gear. They also have a wall you can climb on to test out your shoes and have a great collection.

There is also parking on the premise so no need to stress about street parking. Copped my second pair and more than happy

Great visit Alexandria today to get a new pair of shoes and recycle an old pair. The team were great, giving me the perfect balance of help/advice/anecdotal experience and space to work out what was right for me. Plus nice general conversation by down to Earth good people!

Not having a well stocked store nearby, I had to try my best for a climbing shoe fit. After unfortunately getting this wrong online with Climbing Anchors, they were very helpful and extremely responsive to resolve. Dispatch and shipping was quick and well communicated.

Went in to buy my first pair of climbing shoes. Staff were super helpful and informative and found me the perfect fit.

Went for bouldering shoes, person out front was very helpful and while they didn't have my size (due to supply chain issues) they referred me with correct size and type of shoe

Went to the store on 30/12/22 for their eoy boxing day sales. Great selection of gear with really nice discounts. Went mainly looking for shoes and the staff are really knowledgeable, helped me out with my shoe selection and finally got me sorted on a pair I really liked. Got a bit of advice on their selection of ropes and I really appreciated the insight the staff had. Great store, definitely a must go for anyone new to climbing as a sport and looking for their first pair of shoes or anyone already into climbing and in need of new gear.

Staff member Jay was so helpful for helping fit my first climbing shoe. Had tonnes of great knowledge, was nice, approachable and friendly.

Just walked in to buy some carabiners which were priced at $32 per item and they hadn't updated the prices in stock, so they charged me $39 per carabiner as that was what their website was showing as. I asked if I could buy them for the price which was showing $32 and the manager said blatantly that if I bought online they would be $39 so he's gonna charge me the same even though their sign clearly says otherwise. It's a shame because I shop here quite often and have spent around 2k here in the last year.
I hope in the future they treat other customers with better intentions.

Super helpful staff (Ash) and great range in store.

Stopped in for a helmet and some ascending assist gear.

Ash took heaps of time to talk through the purchases, show me gear and a talk about some adventures in the Blue Mountains.

Next time I'm in need of abseiling/canyoning gear I'll definitely make the trip back

Ordered pick up during lockdown. Maddie was rude on the phone and hung up on me. Would not allow me to call on my arrival to leave goods out the front. Instead left item open to the public for 10minutes until I arrived.

I have to recommend this place to Internet. They are so nice and willing to give you tons of help regard climbing gear. A lot of choice for your equipment. Solid 5 stars

The staff are both patient and persistent to ensure you get the EXACTLY the right product for you. This is certainly one of those instances where it's smarter to buy in-store than online!
