Charterhouse - Executive Recruitment

Very poor service. Similar to other users, offered a role which never materialized all while turning down another offer in order to secure it. No apology, only justification. Will never use again.

We were introduced by our broker to a Wayne Stammers who works for Charterhouse as a Financial Advisor to set up our self managed superfund. After paying thousands to set it up we had no further contact with Mr Stammers fortunately as he was also skimming $220 from our account without our knowledge or consent for Financial advice which he never provided. We have just learnt today the accountancy firm he provided us with for our tax needs has deducted $11,000 from our account in the last 2 years and has not completed our 2016 return yet which they will charge us a fee again. We were told by Wayne Stammers Cavendish Accountants would charge us a monthly fee which would cover the yearly tax return. He also indicated this would be around $2500 maybe $3,000 per year. THis is not the case as we have been told today by Cavendish the monthly fee doesnt cover the yearly return. Another lie by Mr Stammers. If you encounter Mr Stammers be very wary of what he tells you.and make sure you seek Legal advice before doing any business with him.

A brilliant recruitment agency - this place has never wasted my time, unlike so many others and I have always found the agents very proactive about helping a person to secure work. I wish all recruitment agencies were as good as Charterhouse.

An absolutely disaster. What a horrible frightening experience. Made me quit a secure job for another opportunity. Which never materialised after all paperwork, police check n all. Worst part got their hands completely off. No accountability, emphathy, sympathy or compensation

Don't bother with this agency as they wasted your time. Staff are condescending towards you when being interviewed and once you have completed the registration process you do not hear from them again. I have registered and re-registered with this agency at least 5/6 times and they have done nothing to assist me in my job searches. Also often when applying for roles they advertise on Seek etc you automatically receive a rejection letter just a few moments after applying even though you are more than qualified for the advertised role (and are already on their system). I don't believe they actually have the roles they advertise.

Time Wasters - I went to see Sophie Borek about jobs that "may come up". She was more interested in fishing for information (potential leads). Then, after 6 weeks I receive an email from her telling me that I must advise her of specific details on all the interviews that I had, so that She would not also send my CV there. So, basically, provide me with a qualified list of vacancies, so I can try and get a placement. Gee, let me think about that, Ahhhhhhhhh NO!
