39 Really disappointed in the level of service and how poor your sales team treat customers.
Having a clean up at home, found playstation 2 and games which we thought we would try and trade in.
We Took the Playstation in with controller and games. Your team told me they couldn't trade the Playstation 2 as it didn't have the power cord. I told your staff I understand and I will have a look at home as its probably somewhere. I also asked do you take DVDs as we have a few. Was told yes.
So games and controller traded and a store credit given.
I return the next day with the Playstation and cord - I am told they can not trade it as it doesn't have a controller. I explained I traded a controller the previous day and pointed to your team member who did the transaction.
I was still told that that is a separate transaction and if I wanted to trade the console I need to purchase a controller for $30
I discussed that this is crazy and why wasn't I told this yesterday- all I got was blank looks and if you want to trade you need a controller.
On top of this - I am told that you do not trade DVDs anymore - agian I asked why wasn't I told this the day before.
Blank looks was the response. Also I said that it says on your Web page your business does take DVDs (even has prices of trades) but was again told We don't take DVDs anymore.
It's a tough market with you competing with online - you need to be way better than this to survive as a business.
Over priced and when selling to them obviously you are selling it for a reason I'm not going to go buy a charger to sell a watch or phone
Sold some phones, and gaming items to them, and got cash on the spot. Games are cheap too eg ps3 game for $5.
Games and DVDs priced well and a great selection. IT components, watches etc were a fair bit overpriced. We did get some great games for the PS4 tho
Terrible experience at CeX Tuggerah. Was advised by the entitled young man behind the counter, at the top of his voice, that the Xbox did not work. Since got both Xboxs working with correct power supplies from JB HiFi. CeX at Erina much better to deal with.
Entitled obnoxious & rude staff. Too hard to test consoles so they just say they're broken / not accepting them. Don't bother with this place.
They don’t test their games. Then take no responsibility for their own mistakes. No longer using this off brand GameStop again.
I took a seven season set of dvds to this store to sell, this was one big box containing seven separately packed seasons of a TV show. When I received the email receipt this set was not mentioned. When I contacted the company they said two discs were missing so the whole set was scrapped. If two discs across seven separate seasons were missing, surely something could have been salvaged or the store could have contacted me. These people are at best unethical, at worst thieves. I will not be using this company again.
This place is such a find. I got pga21 which PS5 stopped offering for free for $14. Also got a Battlefield game with no DLC for $8. Good value if you don't mind waiting a year to play a game.
Expensive for second hand goods. Was offered $13 or $38 store credit
For a bunch of wii games. Quite unfair considering I just wanted decent cash
Just witnessed these fools try to sell a computer monitor that “didn’t need a power cable” to turn on to the poor bloke in front of me.
Also the PS2 game I bought doesn’t even load past the PlayStation 2 logo. Can’t wait to see this dump of a company go bankrupt.
Edit—went back to purely see if they put the game I returned back up for sale and they had. Despite the fact that they didn’t have a functioning disc resurfacer or any extra copies. So the disc was still completely scratched and non functioning, yet they’re still happy to waste someone else’s time.
Seem to be very expensive for second hand goods. Some pricing actually dearer than new.
Lots of games & DVDs.
Ok if this interests you.
Give good warranty on their game machines but, they are expensive.
We went in to sell some old Mac ram 4gb and they have us about 80c for both sticks didn't seem like a fair price for it, as you couldn't even pay for a frozen coke with that
Found staff more interested in talking to themselves than customers. I would not waste my time in that store again.
The ladies here were amazingly helpful and patient when we were choosing a phone to get. Answered all the questions we had so we were confident in the purchase.
They potray themselves as a ritzy up market store but they are only a glorified hock shop don't fall for it.
DVDMADHOUSE. COM
I GET WAY BETTER DEALS AT DVDMADHOUSE. COM ANIME, GAMES, RARE OOP HARD TO FIND STUFF. AND IT DOSNT LOOK LIKE ITS BEEN USED AS A FRISBEE FIRST. SO CHECK OUT DVDMADHOUSE. COM
Staff are rude. And all you can smell is the grose staff lunch that made standing in the store unbearable.
Great for trading in older games and things and for the kids to find the extras they need for games. Next time visiting will be looking for bigger ticket items, but this time round the staff weren't very interested.
I love cex, it was safe cex and there was a lot of cex to choose from. Could not get enough cex.
