4-5 stars for the sonographer who oversaw our ultrasound. She was friendly enough and was clear and concise communicator. On the other hand, we found the receptionist quite abrasive and a little off-putting. A couple of notable concerns: (1) she gave my partner and I—what we felt was—disappointing side-eyes a couple of times while she was on the phone and we were chatting in the waiting area and (2) she provide zero updates to us while the clinic was running 45 minutes behind schedule e.g, didn't flag it when we arrived and didn't flag it while we waited. That was a little frustrating as we thought keeping customers aware of delays such as this would be one of the position's core responsibilities.

Reception is very rude. Always anxious about me without any reason. When she talks with me I felt she was thinking about me as a idiot.

I went all the way from Canberra and had my Hycosy procedure in CFWU Westmead last Monday and it was all worth it. The receptionist were very kind and lovely. The sonographer and specialist who did my TV ultrasound and Hycosy were really great and even took their time to explain to me the procedure and a brief details of their findings. I got the actual Hycosy report today which is fantastic. I have a very positive experience with them. Thank you so much.

My husband and I went in today for NIPT and 12 weeks scan and we had an amazing experience. Everyone there including receptionists all provided excellent service. We were provided with beautiful baby scan photos and videos. Thank you

From the time I walked in and greeted by the beautiful receptionist, it was hands down the best experience I’ve had. The wonderful ultrasound technician spent the time to go over everything with me and really made sure I felt reassured. She included my 3 year old in each step of the scan and answered his questions. I can not thank the team enough for making this the most amazing experience and creating a beautiful memory for us. Highly recommend this practice if you want a lovely, memorable experience.

The staff were very friendly and professional. The space was clean and well organised. The healthcare professionals who looked after me were excellent and I’m extremely impressed with the quality of our ultrasounds.

The last time I did a 3D fetal imaging with them, the doctor was in a hurry. She did not take good pictures, the pictures were not clear, and they always delayed sending the report to the doctor.

Womens Ultrasound westmead is the worst medical centre, me and my wife had a horrible experience due to the inefficient doctor and reception who has manipulated and incorrectly entered my wifes date of birth and on that ground the forced us for NIPT. When I asked the reason for NIPT test they gave me 3 different answer and refused to prepare the reports and din't give us any clarity about the reason nor the GP reference. My wife had to go through so much of mental pressure and the reception lady Jasmin was not helpful.

I can’t speak highly enough of CFWU.
My pregnancy was high risk going into it however extra complications arose a long the way which meant having ultrasounds always caused me so much anxiety not knowing what they would find however our technicians were always so lovely, calming and incredibly informative. Most of our scans were conducted by Michelle, she was so personable, really took the time to talk us through what she was doing and what she was seeing as well as distract me by asking me lots of questions which helped:) on the odd occasion we had someone else we found them to be great too. The receptionist team are wonderful and dispute how busy they were could always answer our questions and tried to be as accomodating as possible with urgent or last minute appointments.
I was also lucky enough to have A/Prof. Indika Alahakoon conduct my amnio and meet with me a few times to explain so complications. She was so gentle, is incredibly smart and really knows her stuff.

Scans aren’t cheap when you need multiple so you want to ensure you are getting exactly what you need and never once did I walk out feeling like someone/or somewhere else could have done a better job.

If you are pregnant, in Sydney and high risk- this is your place to go!

Thanks everyone so much for all the care you showed me!

I ended up having the most perfect 3.5kg boy on the 26/04 and it was all amazing!

I just loved how the sonographer talked us through the whole time of the scan and explained everything in details. She was really good, friendly and professional. Thank u so much

Totally careless people. Had to book an urgent appointment for my wife. They Booked me in for this saturday for 2 PM today dated 19/12/20 due to emergency and when we showed up nobody is here and the door is locked.

This scanning would determine if my baby would be delivered early or on the due date as advised by the doctor.

And they were telling me over the phone if i cancelled the appointment I have to pay $50. Are they going to pay me now for not showing up.

This behaviour should never be tolerated. This is how they are playing with mother and baby future. Such a reckless people.

If they were not interested in taking the booking for saturday they should have told me and i would have booked in different place.

Inwould Urge NSW Medical Association to take a logal action for this reckless behaviour for this privately owing clinic.

Had the most amazing experience with my wife at this clinic.
Being pregnant with our first child and not knowing what to expect with our scans made us a bit anxious. However, the sonographer at the clinic that scanned us for our nuchal and morphology scan was just amazing and made us feel apart of the scan by explaining every detail and making us feel at ease the whole scan. Would definitely recommend. A +

Was told the wrong information at the ultrasound centre, which ended up costing me a $2,000 operation where they found absolutely nothing. It was all caused by the recommendation from this ultrasound place being incorrect and I even paid $490 for the procedure so all in all out of pocket $2.5k for nothing!

Received appallingly rude phone manner from the receptioinst when rang up CFWU Bella Vista rooms. Very unpleasant to deal with and spoke in a disrespectful rude tone even if asking basis questions such as appointment time availabilities. They act like they are doing you a favour even though you are in reality paying out of pocket so you would expect they would value their clients more. Its obvious that the majority of these imaging places have really rude reception staff with no customer service skills because there is a high patient need > service provision so there are little financial repercussions for the business if they provide poor customer service. Ie: there are always more sick or pregnant people needing imaging continually so no business loss. Great business model for them! Without doubt its not always easy working in a high pressure environment but that’s no excuse for disrespectful or rude customer service. Many of their reception staff seem would be more suited for prison jobs instead of compassion based healthcare jobs as they clearly lack the temperament. I recommend avoiding this place like the plague and also their Westmead branch is no better.

Had a great experience there today. The place was cosy and staff were amazing. Really friendly and we love how the ultrasound went by. Lots of explanations and comment through the appointement from the dr that perform it (thank you very much). Picture were available on my phone as soon i walk out. Clear with comments and enough to keep as souvenirs. So glad my gp told me that if there is one place he recommend us for the nuchal translucy scan, it's definetly there! Thank you very much to the lovely staff who make us feeling comfortable and answer all our questions! We will definetly use your service again as it's worth every single dollar! Thank you again!

Worst experience here!

First of all they gave me the wrong diagnosis on my report about the abnormality of my uterus. After the HYCOSY I had to call them three times for them to send me the report. My doctor also requested the images of the procedure but they said they didn't have any.

I paid $490 for a wrong diagnosis and the headache of having to follow them up all the time

I have had nothing but fantastic experiences so far with CFWU at Norwest. As for Westmead I can 100% recc do not go.

The girl at the front desk was lovely and the technician was lovely as well but there is a vast difference in how they run their sessions. Personally I wasn't confident in going to Westmead initially but as I live in rural NSW and work in Sydney 3 days a week, and there were only appointments at Westmead this week (which I needed as my 30 week scan is now 31 weeks!) and I was assured that Westmead is just as good as Norwest, I booked it. My 1 hour session was wrapped up in about thirty minutes which initially I took as a great thing as it meant I could get on the road home earlier.

But it wasn't actually good after all. Aisha the technician talked through so many parts of my baby doing things, the head length, body, legs, liver, kidney etc, and oh the beautiful long hair waving in the amniotic fluid, I was really excited to come home and look at the files sent to my phone. When I got home though, I sent the link to my partner who is working overseas and he opened it up.he was like is that it.they kind of look all the same. And that is when I realised we only received SIXTEEN FILES.

After all she talked about, after paying $240, and after having gone to WCFU twice before and spending 1 hour for my 12 week scan, 1.5 hours for my 20 week scan with 29 files then 40 files respectively, this was seriously underwhelming, disappointing and heart crushing. Usually I receive a variety angles and body parts, and a good mix of 2D and 3D and 4D. This time I got 12 3D face photos pretty much all the same angle, two 2D heart chamber images and then one of the heartbeat then a 3 second 2D video of baby. I cried. I was so upset. My 20 week scan has everything, feet spine, legs, arms, face, brain, profile, front on and my baby wasn't cooperative at all last time. Honestly I can't express how upset I am that these are the images I have from my 30 week scan.

Hardly any and all the same angle. Had she spent more time she would've been able to get me many more shots and angles, I am actually most upset about the hair she showed me, like we watched the hair and she showed me how much hair baby has (2D) and there was not one photo or video of the hair at all.like why wouldn't you capture that?

Anyway I will never come back to Westmead CFWU, have lodged a formal complaint and will only return to Norwest branch, with Mel the most amazing technician who takes her time and is really engaging and caring and had initiative to capture images we can cherish forever.

1/5 stars only because Anna at front desk was so nice and Aisha was nice as well but for the service I went for and what I got in return, I wish I could put zero stars.

Had my first scan with this center experience was good ultrasound sonographer was really sweet and reception lady was nice.

Had my 2nd morph scan with them, sonographer was different lady this time, and she was really rude and was in rush to get me in and do the scan, i really didn't enjoy my scan this time with her she was pushing to much and i was so uncomfortable.

That why im writing review im not going back to this center again for my next scan, when paying so much rather a good customer.

Rating 2 stars only, its ur luck who u get on day for scan.

Had a referral scan on (05.02.19) and I was so grateful to Dr Indika Alahakoon working for her compassion and empathy. A special thanks to the conduct of the doctor who scanned my wife. Would highly recommend this scan centre.

Westmead staff were fanastic, provided a comfortable and professional environment. The doctor explain anything in detail and was able to achieve beautiful pictures. Would definitely go back again.
