Central Coast Osteopath

Over a decade with Shane, following referral by his teacher when I relocated from Parramatta. This has enabled me to maintain high level mobility during this period despite numerous serious pathologies which traditional Western medicine has been completely ineffective at ameliorating. Have recently introduced my partner to Central Coast Osteopathy which is an indication of my confidence of the effectiveness of Shane’s treatments.

Just ring this places to ask some questions and the men on the line so Rude to me Told me to go away was in with the client and I am new client just asking questions so be careful who you go to (Who Treats new client like that

Just a cash grab. Massage therapists are great but you'll get a 5 minute work over by Shane. Had to call and cancel my appointment as i have bursitis in my back and was told to see a physio by a doctor instead chiro or osteo. Shane proceeds to argue that the doctor has given me the wrong advice and then rudely hangs up. Definitely wont be back

Having read some of the glowing reviews, I must be one of the unlucky ones. Rang and was told there'd been a cancellation, so headed in.
Arrived to discover a wait was necessary. After 15 mins I received an excellent 30 min massage. Waited 15 mins for Shane to spend 3 mins with me. Was booked in for another appointment without requesting one.
2nd visit, waited for 30 mins for 10am appt. Had the 30 min massage. Waited another 30 mins on the table. Finally decided this was nonsense and feeling ignored, decided to leave.
Tried to pay the remedial massage fee, but was not allowed to use my private health care cover.
No idea why, because remedial massage is advertised a a therapy.
I get a 60% rebate, having high level and expensive cover.
If I'd waited longer to have my 3 minute osteopathic treatment, it would have been a $32 cost to me, not the unclaimable $80 I was charged.
I'm not sure what I did wrong. I will take this complaint further.

Shane and the team are welcoming and fun. Their approach is to make good, maintain, make better. A very comfortable place to be.

I have been to see Shane and his team for over 10 years, for all that is on offer at his practice. Besides him personally helping me with numerus aches and pains, his practice is always welcoming, has very good masseuses and offers holistic approaches like yoga and acupuncture - in conjunction with Osteopathy. I see Shane every month for a physical tune up, attend yin yoga there at least once a week and regularly visit the podiatrist who has rooms there. I would recommend Shane and his practice, as I always feel better after seeing him and the team and discussing how I can best continue to work on my physical and emotional well being.

Have been seeing Shane for months now and have amazing results for a difficult back issue that requires regular maintenance.

Shane is so professional, enthusiastic about his work and such an easy going guy. He is incredible at what he does. He knows what he is talking about and what he is doing 10000%! He was spot on with working out what is wrong with my back and hips and he has improved my pain tremendously! The staff are lovely and I love the whole welcoming vibe of the clinic! It’s a great place, I couldn’t recommend Shane and the team enough!

Highly recommend Shane and his team, my back pain is completely alleviated, I always have my next appt booked in, I see it as my self care and a way of looking after myself.

I rated this place 3, on the reviews people have written because I'm in desperate need of help. I haven't slept for so long now. Yesterday i had a bad cramp in chest which went up my throat in2 side of face, the pains unbearable n taken so many pain meds on top of my prescribed ones. Can't eat. On top of that i had to have a debridement on ulcer which I've CRPS on same ankle plus a rupture n inflammation 2day. I've pinched nerves thru out my back n crushed discs in lower back. Can i be helped at your clinc? Thankyou

I have been seeing the talented Shane and his team for a long time, he’s been wonderful in helping me out with my complicated health issues. I appreciate the extended opening hours they offer and the free 5 minute drop ins are handy. Plus Rhonda on the desk always welcomes you with a smile.

I have been in this clinic 10 times, the service was great and I had no complaint for fixing my back. When I rang today to cancel my appointment, I was forced to make it next week, Shane’s responds was “Whatever! ” then hang up on me, he was absolutely rude and unprofessional person. I will not recommend this to anyone again. There’s so many Osteopath around that maybe more respectful than Shane Caulfield.

Myself, my partner, friends and family have been coming to Shane and his team for a long while now. And frankly none of us, would not go anywhere else!

My Osteopath of 20 years retired and I was in desperate need of treatment. I called up, made an appointment, which was a werid experience, calls were ended 3 times, got through on the 4th call and Shane made the appointment. Treatment day, amazing massage and approximately 4 mins spent with Shane. I went back a few more times. I cancelled the last appointment due to covid and not feeling like my issues were being treated appropriately. Shane then proceeded to call me and text me several times to try and pressure me into making a subsequent appointment. Ive since found a new Osteopath who treats me respectfully and actually spends more than 4 mins with me.oh he is also a lot cheaper.

I have been to 4 Osteo's and a Chiro on the Central Coast alone. Central Coast Osteopathy is the only one that has been able to give me relief from hip, back, neck pain. Amy's massage gets into the right spots so Shane can do his magic. The availability of 5 min free adjustments between appointments is nothing I have heard any other practitioner offer, which I have only needed to used twice. Highly recommend Shane and team!

I have been going to see Shane for a couple of months. My whole back was seized up. Shane has got me moving again. The change between walking in and walking out is remarkable. Special mention to Rhys for his massages.

I’ve been going here for approximately 6 months now and wish I knew about it earlier. Everyone has been great to deal with and most of all, great at what they do. I always feel much better after every session and I highly recommend the services provided by Shane and his team.

Good right up to the point you stop making appointments, then he stops acting nice. Very expensive and some of the masseuse don't know how to do their job.

I have been seeing Shane for 20 years for more issues then I can remember. His treatment helps me stay on the park. Wouldn't go anywhere else (even with the dad jokes & puns) and have referred many a friend to him.
