Great spot to bring family during the day to meet and relax, plenty of cafe options around as well to make a family morning of it!
You can still feel the magic in the air some twenty years later. Then grab a table at the Locker Room for a quiet drink and a spectacular meal
Free parking next to the park at night and easy excess to public transport. Fantastic atmosphere at night
Other than then toilet is smelly and some light on the Cathy Freeman running track are missing it is a big field for the kids to run around and playground to play too.
Great shaded area for families. Playgrounds for kids of all ages. Huge graasy parkland when they’re bored of swings.
Excellent grassed area but children's play area is pretty average. Excellent surroundings of Olympic Park
Great spot to exercise or solve the worlds problems. Peaceful and quiet. Nice also for a picnic or just lay in the sun.

Simply Brillant
Great park esp for events. We do Million Paws walk every year there and even with a million paws, it's easy in and out and good venue.
Good sport equipments for various fitness levels. Water fountain enjoyable in summer. Not sure if water stops at 4pm, which is too early for a summer afternoon. Paid road side carparks available nearby, 3hrs free parking available as well.
Large green lawn close to Quodos Bank arena. Named in honour of 'Cathy' Freeman; a sprinter who won a gold medal at the age of 16 at the 1990 Commonwealth Games, as well as numerous other medals in subsequent championships, including a silver medal in the 1996 Olympics.
