Carpet Call Tuggerah

No way i would recommend this branch or any other Carpet Call to anybody. Grossly underestimated quantity of floor leveling material - salesman said floor was pretty level and only 2 bags were needed where in fact floor was way out and needed 17 at an additional cost of $1700. Floor layers said this was a common ploy by this company and others as the true estimate would scare potential buyers off. Floor layers failed to complete job -did not cut sufficient amount of tinber from bottom of door and failed to replace broken sliding door glides. After about a month trying to get layers back to finish job - unfortunately i took their word saying that they would be back nexf week and i paid total amount. Finally contacted Tuggerah manager with my complaint and he said they no longer contracted to the layers. Told him of the work still required -too hard for him to resolve then flicked me to area floorboards manager. Again too hard for him too and he told me to ring head office manager. H. O.manager said that Carpet Call would not replace glides nor would they fix thd door as it was not their problem. Whose was it then.
I told him that i had a two year warranty on the laying and as they had contracted out these layers they were responsible overall for the job. He said no way would they do any of the work as their job was to lay the boards and were not responsible for the reinstallation of the glides and fixing up the door even though their contractors had undertaken those jobs in the first place. He ssid to get handyman or carpenter to fix the problems. Simple. He wouldnt budge not their problem.i eventually gof around to doing the jobs myself. Be careful very poor - no - non existant after sales service

As first home buyers we were very unsure how to go about the whole process of putting carpet through out bedrooms, but we got in touch with a guy called Daniel who’s one of the managers from carpet call nsw and we couldn’t have a better experience and a helping hand, we got our carpet layed yesterday and it came up bloody perfect! We honestly couldn’t be happier thank you!

Got Served by Dale today and he was extremely patient and very helpful.
Was in the store for nearly 2 hours as I was very indecisive on which rug to go with.

I found it very helpful that they allowed me to bring a rug home to see if the size and colour would suit my space free of charge. This was very convenient as the rug I chose was to small. I ordered the bigger size over the phone which was great. It will only take 4 days for it to come from Sydney which is great.
The smaller rug got picked up tonight from my home. No hassle in having to return the rug myself. Very satisfied.

2 stars for the local staff but management will not refund deposit after 3.months of ringing them I gave up and had to continue but will never deal with them again

Placed a deposit for our new floorboards today with carpet call, our salesman Martin was friendly, helpful and informative especially accomodating with our budget. This has been a headache free experience so far, cant wait for stock and installation next month.

Went in for a quote and dealt with a lovely bloke named Michael.

He was fast and efficient in finding what was best suited to my particular needs and price range. He had great knowledge of the products and expectancy of time frames.

Highly recommend if anyone needs anything carpet or rug related to hit this guy up. Definite asset to this business. Great job! 12/10.

I dealt with Martin at Tuggerah Carpet Call. There was an issue with installation and also supply of the carpet. Martin went up and beyond to make everything work. I would recommend dealing with Martin anytime.

Not a huge shop but they manage to pack a lot of variety in. Had what I wanted and very competitive pricing

One star is too many. DO NOT USE Carpet Call Tuggerah. They quoted a flooring system that wasn't right. Stated it would be done prior to tenants arriving and failed to get it done, even after he found out it couldn't get done from the installers he still told me it could so I didn't get the chance to try elsewhere. The floor wasn't installed properly and the manager never returned my calls to get it fixed. My perception is that the manager is dishonest in his dealings and only interested in getting your money. Fortunately the Head Office was much better and cleaned up his mess. Still haven't heard from the manager, who on the last conversation couldn't even apologise for his repeated stuff ups. Go to their West Gosford store instead.

Called and arranged an appointment to get a quote - one hell of a slimy salesman came around that same day almost pushing me to get the carpets installed and laid that day for $2300 with an upfront deposit - This was one room. Got Harvey Norman Erina to install lovely carpets for $1100 - I'd advise to stay away from this business.

Never ever again will I use carpet call. Never return phone calls didn't install when I was told very very bad service
