Carpet Call Moore Park reviews
73The team at carpet call went above and beyond to help me with my rug, after I had ran in to a few hiccups. Pete even went that extra length of taking the rug to nick scali to match it to my lounge I had just bought. Their prices are unbeatable, the quality is amazing & their state manager was nothing but uplifting and supportive of his staff members, i was quite pleased to see a manager caring for their staff as well as their customers.
Thankyou Carpet Call Moorepark for the amazing service and professional service you provided from the start. The carpet look superb!
Very satisfied with the carpet and the installation on my apartment recently. Overall great service and very helpful. Thanks to the team at Moore Park.
If I could give zero stars, I would. There were so many mistakes made by Carpet Call and I can't really be bothered listing them all. Suffice to say I got in touch with the store manager and he told me that "it isn't my problem. You need to speak to head office. " I got in touch with the CEO of Carpet Call and he said "let's all move on".
So before you respond to me with a disingenuous message that you're sorry to hear about my experience and that if I email you, you'll look into it. Don't bother. Your CEO has made it quite clear what you think of customers.
What a horrible experience! The install went all wrong and was done terribly, but the store has no interest in hearing about it or fixing it.
Great service and the quality was excellent. Worth paying for the wool carpet. Very good for our two bedrooms.
I received wonderful customer service from start to finish - I was even able to take several samples home to review colours. The job was sizeable as all 4 bedrooms needed new carpet, the chap who also laid the carpet did a fabulous job. Thanks again Carpet Call, I couldn't be happier!
Do not leave the layers unattended. Paid $2k for underlay under my expensive flooring which was for 60sqm and only 40sqm was installed. They did a patched underlay in my corridor. By the time I saw it, it was too late. Look else where. They will screw you over left right and centre.
Never Again! These guys are horrendous. The service was okay until I paid. Then is all went down the tube. The shop were so rude and didn't want to know about any issues. Shop owner told me to get lost.
I've actually had a 'good' 1st experience, and 'excellent' 2nd experience with these guys.
I've now multiple times dealt with head office finance & installation teams + Jai & Seyser at the Moore Park sales and I've been really happy with the time everyone has taken to explain the process, listen to our needs, gripes, pedantic requirements, etc. The product itself is beautiful - we paid for quality and we got it. I am now going to work with Jai & Seyser a 3rd time to carpet our investment properties. Cheers Guys!
Avoid these unprofessional pushy sales people! When visiting the store I was given a “Special Price” which couldn’t be written down and I was told to hold it I would need to proceed that day with a deposit. I declined and then received a call a few days later asking if they could come out to do a measure and quote, so I agreed as I wanted to have a comparison. The person who arrived to do the measure was very polite, but when he provided with another “Special Price” after calls with his manager he then became pushy trying to get me to pay a deposit there and then. I was the told that the price couldn’t be written down and that I would need to pay the deposit to hold it. I was still waiting for another quote, so said I wasn’t going to make a decision on the spot as it was only fair to allow the other company the opportunity to provide their quote. At this point the representative because very pushy and I had to keep repeating that I wasn’t making a decision on the spot. In the end I went with Bondi Carpets who provided me with professional advice, a transparent quote and professionally fitted carpets. Do not invite these people into your home and if you are aware of them coming to an elderly relative please make sure they have somebody else there with them. Carpet Call you need to update your sales tactics things have moved on from the 80s where people could be forced to buy things in their homes by pushy sales people giving special prices.
So far we’re still two weeks from our installation date and it’s already been a terrible experience. Getting them to return a phone call or answer an email has been nearly impossible. Reading the other reviews gives me no hope that things will improve. I already wish I had gone with someone else!
Update: after not completing the installation job as per the invoice, they were very helpful in sending someone out today to finish the job off. I have to applaud their customer service team this morning for being on the ball. However— if they had done the job properly yesterday, I would not have needed to contact them today
We recently had the misfortune to use Carpet Call. We spent around $5,000 for a small hall and 3 bedrooms, so didn't go cheap. The "carpet fitters" that Carpet Call sent damaged every one of our 8 brand new wardrobes as well as damaging large areas of our brand new skirting boards. When the damage was pointed out they simply shrugged their shoulders. We contacted Carpet Call immediately and informed them of the damage. That was nearly 3 weeks ago and despite numerous telephone calls with Justin, we are no further forward in reaching a solution to getting the damage repaired. Carpet Call did send a "painter" twice to fix the skirting boards - on visit 1 he had to leave as he didn't have the right equipment and on visit 2 he had to leave as he couldn't repair the damage! Why didn't he didn't realise this on the first visit? Carpet Call's website quotes "We are known for our professional and knowledgeable staff". Well, we can certainly testify to the fact that this statement is completely false as our experience so far has been with staff who are neither professional, nor knowledgeable. It is shocking that Carpet Call think this is an acceptable way to treat customers and are unwilling to accept responsibility for the damage caused by their unprofessional carpet fitters. I strongly recommend that if you are buying a new carpet, then give Carpet Call a miss and use one of the other many carpet firms out there.
UPDATE 12/12: The response from Carpet Call is not to be believed. I posted the exact same review on Product Review and got the exact same response from Carpet Call. I sent them my invoice number. That was over a week ago. Still no response.
UPDATE 19/12: Still no solution from Carpet Call despite numerous telephone calls.
